On the 1 occasion I have stayed at the Ton Koon Hotel I was the only Farang in the karaoke bar but this did not appear to be a problem. It was a Thursday night so maybe that is a slow evening!

Yep, same place. Been to all of them one time or another.
Coming from where you came from, girls are on the right before the narrowing of the Soi. After it narrows two or three places on your left, and at the end of the Soi, turn left and there are even more - that's where found my little fucktoy:)

Went to Udon Thani on 26 to 27 Jan 09. It's my first visit using information base on this forum.
Reach at 9am and check in hotel. Go to Soi 2 after lunch, almost all girls are still sleeping. ST price is 400B. Did not take any girl as all were still sleeping, but, papasan still open their room door to let me see their bodies.
Next tell tuk tuk drivers see if they could get me local school SYT. They have no idea at all despite I ask several tuk tuk drivers at different locations. Feel like taking next flight back to BKK.
In the end, go back hotel sleep till 7pm. Then go back soi 2 again. All girls I saw are from Lao. Got two young virgins offer by mamasan for 4000B for ST. Very funny, virgin is not sell at one week price. Although very young but I do not like this laotian gal body shape, big ass. The virgin also very scare of me as I talk to mamasan on the price. There are a few things you could have improved on.
You got the high price at the brothals because you took a tuk2 there. They get a comish like the taxis that take you to ktvs in btm. The price is either 200-300.
Also, sounds like you went to early, but it may be for the better. If going at night, it is more dangerous as thais travel in packs and some like to fight when drunk. And they all are there to get drunk.
The virgin thing, I doubt it's true. It's probably a scam they dev. After a few farangs started requesting it, and got played.

The better option is to have them take the girl to your hotel! Bungalow and st facilities are always subject to potential police raids!
Also, the girls all live in a house off an offshoot of soi7. If you know the location, you could go there any time of the day and pick from the liter.

Appearently they sit in the bar of one of the short time places and checking which farang is going with these undocumented Lao girls. Of course the Lao girls have no id and they are all Lao. Some German fag with a UNICEF T-shirt was walking around checking out farangs as they walked in.
