Comayagua was pretty much the same with the exception of a few new restaurants (pizza hut). There is a new strip club of the main Blvd. Just past Wendy's. Its called Besa de Sol, it's where the old Blue Moon used to be. Hours are from 7:30 pm to 12:30-0100. Full nudity. Toda la noche about 1200 to 1500 lemp not including the salida. Most guys just hung around till the spot closed and tried to scoop something without having to pay the salida. There were some dime pices in there but mostly 6's, most were young 18-25 years. I did not take anything out but was tempted.
I stayed in the Hotel Santa Maria, no problems bring women in. I pretty much spent my time with Lisa and Lil Sister (see La Ceiba). Niether of the two could be seen with me in public. Incredible, that's almost $80 USD for average to below average quality. The locals certainly can't afford it. A few years ago prices were $12 to $15 or 200 to 300 Lempiras for TLN with the best quality available. I've noticed that the better looking putas all marry gringos from the base and leave to the US while the rougher looking ones remain in the business for years. It certainly isn't worth going to Comayagua to pay 1200 to 1500 Lempiras TLN when better quality is available for less elsewhere.
As of thanksgiving weekend 2007, This town and country is not a p4p commercial in your face destination. The thing that works is approaching the women and strike up a conversation, buy them a drink, ask them to dance.
