General Info

Ain Kawa is a conservative Christian neighbourhood north of Erbil. There is no "evil" area. However compared to rest of Erbil it offers some bars and alchohol shops.

The action is very discrete. It mainly is run by non-Ain Kawa girls (from other parts of Iraq. Mainly Baghdad). They are very hard to get accross, and they need a word of Mouth recommendation that you are "safe" (foreigner who will not get them in legal trouble). I was introduced to Noura by a friend.

There is also some street action (very discrete). I was once driving at sunset at the corner leading to "Happy Time" restaurant from the small rounabout. I was getting out of a meeting and looked sharp in a suit driving a good car. A girl waiting at what looks like a bus stop smiled to me (she knew I was not local from the way I dressed and the vehicle I drove. If you drive a Toyota 4x4 then they assume most propably you are a government official! ).

I couldn't stop in traffic so I went around the block and back to where she was waiting. I stopped the car in front of her and she greeted me as if she knew me to confuse passers by. She said her name was Suzan a 23 year old from some village in North. She was delighted that I was a foreigner. I went straight to the point that I am interstted in sex, and for 150$ she went back to my place.

You did not mention the currency. Is that US$150 or dinars?? As I understand it, Dinar$150 is about US$15.

Actually, 150 Iraqi Dinars is about 15 U.S. CENTS! I'm sure he meant U.S. dollars, which is the preferred currency in Iraq.

So, I was at The Edge bar in Erbil recently. It is located on the U.S. compound in Ainkawa district. Several ex-military types told me there is indeed a WG place in Ainkawa but I could not get the location out of them, despite many rounds of beers to loosen things up! However, I did learn that it is located in a Chinese restaurant which is a "front" for the brothel. I walked around Ainkawa and asked several dozen people but have still failed to locate it.

Ok, I am here in the IZ and I know there has got to be some action here because, i have been to a liquor store, a bar, and i can only imagine what else is out here. i would appreciate any guidance.

Mongering in the IZ is difficult but not impossible. You can try some of the bars, if you have acess to the Palace try the Lock and Load on Thursday night, nothing for sale you have to be charming. Also if you have acess to the Palace try the pool on wed / thur nights some of the local girls that work there work on the side, they will smile at you if thier working.

If you can get out try walking out to gate 10 and 11 (Karada) thats a gold mine if you hit it at the right time, takes a little work and they have to get to know you, offer them a ride to or from work get there numbers and remember no calls only texts, they won't talk to a pink face in town.

Also the 215 Apartments are a good source but again you have to be very discrete.

Lastly if you can get out and travel around depending on your business stop at all the Iraqi companies, they usually have some friendly women (local and Filipina) working there, spend some time with the owner have Chia talk business and look for an invite to a party or approach the girls as you leave, drop a card and ask them to call you.

Lastly a new Chinese resturant is opening, he is being extremly careful because of the IZ police (American MP's) but take your time to get to know him and you can have your take out delivered.

can you provide alittle more on the 215 apts?

whats the going rate poolside.

im still having trouble locating the l&l but i thought it was only open on fridays.

do these girls speak english, or have a contact number? what are some of the other hints they drop, is there a name i should look out for?

The 215 Apartments, now that its June its best in the evening, Just walk around have a chi and look for eye contact, you'll know if there approachable. Depending on who you work for and your freedom of movement means alot, hang around Karata Gate (11) just outside or the walk in over the bridge. The chinese resturant is operating, I stopped for a beer the ladys are old, way past there prime but supposedly some locals can be had, order a beer and ask the lady about a massage and she will take your phone number Iraqna or Asia cell no MCI.

If you have access to the Palace Pool, Salsa and Karaoke are good nights, look for the L3 ladies sitting together thier is one that looks like an old Cleopatra, stop and chat. Freedom Pool is good on those same nights but you have to be charming with the Ex-Pats.

Prices vary it could be anywhere from 20 to a 100 usd depend on where and what you hook up with. I can't give specifics (I may have to pony up the $20 bucks for PM priveledges) but a girl from the outside is almost definitly semi-pro and usually a lot of fun and always needs a shower.

Relax and have fun with it you can hook up look at all the marriages taking place and you know most of them will be left behind.

I forgot, if you have access to the Palace, two words, AREA 52. Look for the funny Khaki uniforms and the TCN, s. Not sure of prices but definitly working, hook up at Camp Hope DEFAC breakfast and dinner or Camp Jackson DEFAC at lunchtime. Can't miss them.

well as it has it, i have had no luck. ive been to the palace pool, and the chinese place several times. im a little scared to try 215. is there a particular one at the chinese place i need to talk to, none of them seem to speak engrish.

My questions is - do they have places to carry out the action in? Private space in the IZ seems hard to come by!
