This is not only my first real life report; it’s also my first experience in this business. A few hours ago, a zero experience became a 1 out of probably a thousand. I’m ok since I know I had to pay for that first point. Read on.

As I mentioned previously, the first night I went to Babar and found no action. The second night I studied the posts on the forum and slept. The third night I went to LDV with a friend.

We got to LDV at midnight. We are nice young guys and two nice chicas approached and started dancing in front of us expecting any kind of response, however they did not talk to us at all. We did not give them any response, we even changed the sight when they looked at us. We were just starting to understand the place.

LDV has no cover to enter and no charge for exiting with a girl. You have to buy a drink for you and if you want to dance or chat with a girl, she will ask you to buy her another drink. The prices are not as expensive as one would expect for a place like this.

From about 40 girls, the two dancing in front of us could be considered 3rd and 4th. We were having a nice time looking at them and around. After somebody picked them up, we left LDV heading to Tu Candela.

Tu Candela is a nice place. There is a cover but if you insist you are going to buy a lot of drinks or a scotch bottle, the cover could be avoided. Probably 80% of the girls are working. The rest are non-pros having fun and some of them will end with someone in their bed for free.

Tu Candela closes at 4AM so we left towards Giro Matto. All pros. Most of them finished STs and were looking for another guy for TLN. Had another bottle of scotch which costs COP260k (about US$115). FYI prices are presented in a blackboard after you cross the door. There is a COP10k cover for entering the place, however as in Tu Candela, it can be avoided if you say you are going to have a Buchannan’s bottle (scotch). The Sun appeared at 6AM and we went back to the hotel.

Having an understanding of the places and how they work, we headed again towards LDV. Got there on Tuesday midnight. There were some interesting girls and I found one of the two girls that danced for us the night before. Her name is A. She is a nice and very thin girl. I knew that that was the best option; however I took the faster way and told them I didn’t want to go to TC but to the hotel, with them. They asked COP400k and took me about 5 minutes to get them down to COP350k for at least until 5AM (due to my hotel restrictions). After I made my intentions as clear as Isla del Rosario’s water, they started dancing a lot hotter. Touched and teased me all the way long. That was one of the best parts of the night.

Okay. Here is the deal I missed. If after starting the price conversation and getting them to 350 I’d took them to Tu Candela or Babar, I’m sure I would be going to get both of them for 300k or less and I’m sure I would have enjoyed a very interesting night with those nice girls hot-dancing for me for about 2 hours.

None of that happened. I was ok with 350k for the 3rd and 4th nicer girls of the place, going out together. That episode closed the night for me since I didn’t want to start again with another girl.

OVERALL EXPERIENCE

Overall it was a great night. I learned a lot and I hope to help somebody else with this stuff. L was great and A did her best while sober. Here is a summary. What? You’ve read everything? Sorry I didn’t tell you before that I was going to summarize my humble findings!!

My next time at CTG:

GIRLS AT LDV:

- Take the chica I like. Say Hola, grab her hand and take the chica to my table.
- Make it clear that I want to finish the night in bed with her (or them). Talk about price, try to talk her down, but don’t close the deal. Also avoid saying a target number. State I’m very interested but that the price is still high.
- Invite her/them to leave LDV towards Tu Candela, Babar or any other regular bar.
- Enjoy as much as possible. Enjoy a little more.
- Conclude negotiations for TLN and go to my place. Probably an apartment as recommended in the forum. Clearly specify what TLN means and what I expect. Get an agreement on that.
- Keep enjoying and have at least 3 to 4 coffees.

RULES OF ENGAGEMENT (for me):

#1. No smoking
#2. No drugs (I don’t even want them to ask or show anything)
#3. No alcohol at the hotel (means they can’t open it or control it at all, if there’s something, I’ll control how much they drink).

I get chuckle out of guys telling others not to overpay. The people who need this advice won't listen anyway. There will always be higher and lower prices. I have lived here for three years and have not seen much inflation. LDV is the high-priced place. Take a walk around the building or down San Martin.
