The arguement about whether there are any hot maids has been had before. Those of here for a while think a small percentage of maids are hot, those through town briefly think a higher percentage are hot. Given there are 250,000 women who work as maids in HK some of them have to be hot. If only 1-5% are that is still 2,500 to 12,500 women.

I do agree with you that basically all the hot maids are Indonesian. As the overseas worker program has gotten more developed in the philippines most of the hot ladies take jobs in the west or korea that pay far more then they make as helpers here (US$440 per month). Ladies working in factories in Korea make US$1,000 per month and I was recently asked (and I declined) to help a lady pay her agency fee so she could make US$3,000 per month working in Denmark as a fish gutter.

Indo's do not have the same economic options so coming to HK is extremely attractive to them. Unfortunately Indo women are not as blessed with looks as most other women so good looking ones are fewer between.

As for 18Sauna being the definition of hotness I am not sure that I agree with that. They do have nice ladies but most have had a lot of work done. As for the Indo's who work at 18Sauna most of them are fun but I would only say a couple of them are hot (although they can be fun to hang out with after they finish their work).

Yeah some for sure have had work done. But I doubt they are working part time as maids to be able to afford the cosmetics. Some are natural beauties. There are so many of them there is alwasys some stunners in the line up.

I had a similar story last year except the wife stopped paying the poor girl and illegally cancelled her contract. I had the Indo girl go to the Labour Tribunal and the wife got a significant fine!

Good for you. I have helped more then one domestic helper get all that was legally coming to her and her employer repremanded. It is amazing some of the crap that these ladies think they have to put up with. I get after a lot of my staff at work when I hear stories about their DH's and ask them how would they like it if I treated them the same way. They tend to get rather sheepish after that.

Not really into the dead fish

Sorry guys, but have been a lurker for a while, RTFF on HK and Wanchai in advance of my first visit. My first time to HK and went to Neptunes and then Fenwicks, and decided that Neptunes had a better quality group that night.

My friend met a Thai girl who was very nice and classy, and she promised to introduce her friend to me, but in the meantime I met a Filipino gal (and her friend)up at the bar. Great body, nice face, great dancer. In hindsight, they were ordering "doubles" from the bartenders, and never thought twice about it.

The Thai girl's friend finally came and was introduced, and looked very hot, but since I was already occupied with the 2-filipino's girls, she left.

To make a long story short, had a good time, slow-dancing, fast-dancing, coochy-koo at the bar, but when suggested further activities back at my hotel, she said that she was tired, blah-blah-blah. Not much to show for a couple hours.

While for an old guy, I was pretty beat anyways, and didn;t feel like making another round (already 3am) but the total scene there is quite impressive, but guess I didn't see that she was just pushing drinks. After searching forum I guess it happens, but while YMMV I guess it kinda blind-sided me.

Most of the bartenders (female ones looked filipino) must be in on the deal, but while I thought I had a good thing going, I guess I will have to be more of a skeptic in future.

In any case, it's off to Macau tomo, and then back to HKG for a couple days before going home. I will definitely go back to Neptunes, spend some more cash, and maybe look for the Thai girls. In any case, I might stay away from the girls sitting at the bar.

There's probably an easy way to spot the drink-pushers, and I'll have my radar out next time.

My previous visits to 37D have always been to the establishment on the first floor. Yesterday, out of curiosity, I went up the extra flight of stairs to the place on the second floor.

I’m glad I did!

There are some differences between the first and second floor options. First off, three girls were brought to me individually, briefly introduced by the mama and then I spent a few minutes alone with each one in the KTV room. This gave ample opportunity to “check the goods” and get an indication of attitude. When number three had been and gone, the Mama came back and we discussed the ladies and I made my choice. The girls were pretty much the same "quality" as found downstairs and I chose Helen, who from the warm up I had found to have a nice, bra-less rack.

The second difference was the price, HK$340 and $80 for the hotel, which as you are no doubt aware, is around $70 less than the first floor place. Another small difference was that I had to pay the hotel and the mama separately.

The usual hand holding up the stairs followed to the short time place on the fourth floor. IMHO, the room was better than the ones on the third floor I had been to in the past. When “checking in” it was a bit odd to see the daughter of the woman who ran the place doing her homework!

In the room, Helen did not disappoint. Usual, highly pleasurable interactive shower with BBBJ, one day I just know I am not going to make it to the bed! This girl had a cracking figure, unusually for a Chinese lady her bum was a peach and as good as anything I’ve seen, perfectly presented in a thong – again unusual for Chinese. Where would generally be the best place to do money exchange? (as in getting the best rate)

- bank (doubt it), airport (arriving or departing), money exchange places?

Been reading the posts for the last couple of months. Had troubles deciding between staying in kowloon or wan chai. But then decided to opt for kowloon since I want to do some shopping (walking distance to hotel) as well. And I want to 'experience' Hong Kong.

But I will venture out to wan chai and check out the scene there. Perhap say Hi to a few of you

I do have a question about wan chai; a few post hinted at wan chai being racist. I'm assuming toward Chinese?

Can someone elaborate a bit more? Why do you feel this way.

Perhaps the racism has been overblown. If your native tongue is English (as I am guessing you are) then you will fare better. The girls in Wan Chai all speak some English very rarely cantonese/mandarin which is why the cold shoulder may be given. Just 'charm' the bouncers and you should have no problem.

You can use your ATM card and get money from thousands of ATM machines throughout HK and even with ATM charges by some banks, you still will get the best rate AND you don't have to carry money from your own country. But if you have to, I have noticed that the worst rate is offered at the airport. Banks in town probably have good exchange rate but the waiting time at banks in HK is horrible. The rate at money exchange places vary depending on what neighbourhood you are doing the exchange and how close they are to touristy areas. There was a few messages way back regarding this issue:
