Final thoughts:
Sosua appeared to be making a strong comeback after being slapped down from the crackdown in December 2010. The talent was there this trip. During the weekend, there were stunners in the bars, on the streets, and at the beach. If I wanted action during the afternoons, I did not need to go to Passions or CMP, I was pulling girls right off the beach and streets. I would set a price and ask,"Si o no? I only had one that said no. I never made it up to Classico, never had a reason to go. I still think that Latino, now Gran Velero, is the best club in town, especially when it comes to music and the local crowd. One thing is for certain, the girls love to party and dance!
Overall, I thought this was one of the best trips ever!
Tomjackin, you are one wild and crazy dude. There is no way I could have hung with your ass during port calls; we'd all end up in the Brig, LOL!
I didn't even know that the Caribbean knew anything about Kamakazies. The only time I've ever had them were in Hawaii (figured it was a drink specific to the Pacific realm).
Since you are a drinking man, digame por favor: Do the sell bottles of Gin in the DR? Or am I going to have to bring my own bottle of Bombay Sapphire?
Tomjackin is straight jackin this thread LOL. Excellent pics guy!
I honestly think that she is a good woman, but has been dealt a bad hand of cards in life. This is only my opinion, so if someone disagrees, that's fine. I tend to like to see the best in people first, vice trying to find out what is wrong with someone first. I wish her the best in life and will always spend some time with her if I'm in town.
I have no idea who you are speaking of here but it was nice to read your thought. Most women, considered bad, have been screwed (literally and figuratively) by a guy or more, IMHO so your attempt to make amends is particularly dignified.
Here are more pictures of the epic party!
Very nice photos and reports, thanks for posting. You had an excellent time in Sosua.
Here are more pictures of the epic party!
Goodness Gracious!
Someone just recently posted some questions asking where are the best places to eat in Sosua. Your pics pretty much answered that question! And quite tastefully might I add.
Your pics made my Easter!
Here are more pictures of the epic party!
Bravo! Thats one helluva party and thanks for the pics and reports.

Overall, I thought this was one of the best trips ever!
Thanks for the pics and report. Glad to hear sosua is on the rebound. I was there in '09 for the first time and had a blast. I'll definitely post a report when I return mid may. Damn I can't wait!
Here are more pictures of the epic party!
Very much enjoyed your report and pictures. Thank you. I am planning a mid July trip for my birthday and am waivering between Costa Rica (10 straight trips) or going back to Puerto Plata and Sosua for the first time since 2009. Your posts may be the tipping point in going with DR. Thanks again for your contributions, Bunda.

The first thing that I used to look for during any port brief, was the "Off Limit" places and areas, and that's where I headed!
I found Kamikazes in almost every country I've traveled too, most decent bartenders know of the drink.
I saw gin at the markets, but don't remember if it was Bombay Sapphire or not. Your best friend can be the "Duty Free" store at the airport. The booze is cheap, and I was told last week there was no limit of bottles that can be brought into the DR.
Have fun!
Patricia from part 2.
Oops! Thanks Gogo. What I meant to say is I do not know this woman other than having read comments about her on this forum.
Well I have studied abroad; or two. (Sorry, just trying to lighten up the board a bit).
As I alluded to before though, that place makes you want to do things to titties.
With that being said though the last thing I'd want to see is a shot glass of mama juana between two ass cheeks. .
It would be interesting to research if males of each racial group has a particular thing (fetish) about a particular female anatomical region. I know I just love breasts. As long as they are manageable. While a nicely shaped butt is a joy forever (was it John Keats?) , it certainly does not get my juices flowing and so certainly no shot glasses between butt cheeks but on another thought, I am more into women than into drinking (Frannie is practically not into drinking). A chilled beer on a hot day is excellent for me and even this trip, I just stuck to Baileys while the women worked on the black label. Hmmm. I do have to admit that the pictures of Tom were creatively unique and a pleasure to behold, coming in myriad shapes and color.
On another note you have a thing with language Drai. I was flummoxed for a while with "studying abroad" and then it dawned on me. Keep it going! LOL.
Just to let you know, I was fortunate enough to grown up in a affluent neighborhood in suburban New Jersey. So at an early age I was exposed to many cultures, which I'm thankful for. I enjoy experiencing what other cultures have to offer. I can assure you that I'm not bigot, or racist. I don't care what an individual race may be, if you a good person, then that's all I care about. Jessie Jackson, I must say is my least favorite person LOL.
I didn't meant to offend anyone for my comments. I think you guys on this board are awesome, and I can't wait to post my first trip report. Savepros, I enjoy reading your reports, and keep them coming.
Peace
Thanks for interjecting with your nice tone and content. Much appreciated.

Have fun!
TomJackin,
A few of us discussed port calls once on the Tijuana board, if you recall. Not sure about your ships but before port call my departments always briefed us on where not to go. They had a map of unsafe places. Redlight districts were always listed because the threat of venereal disease was ever present, it seems. Well, most of us young guys took a copy of the map and headed RIGHT to the redlight district. Nobody planned it out together, but all the cool cats ended up in the same *****houses in every port!
