Had a drink at Escape last night with my Indonesian friend. It was a crowded venue while the gents were crazy. Gents continually wanted to buy me drinks. Gave a few to my friend and she ended up with around $800 in commissions. She thinks, I am a good luck charm and asked me to regularly attend Escape. Once in a while is enough.

Pretty well a disastrous night on Friday.
Work kept me late so it was after 12 when I strolled down the road. HK Café not very busy so about turned at the bottom of the stairs. Bumped into two friends and promised I would meet them in the Sports Bar a bit later. I lied. Taboo busy with plenty LE standing on the corner. I learned later there had been a fight in there the previous night.
Went into the Spin Bar next to the HK Café. It's a small place but the Mamasan, Lucy, is an old friend from way back in the Galaxy days. She has a new visitor just arrived who she thinks I will like. Fast forward to meet Bella. Nice looking girl, nice eyes, fresh complexion, white teeth – Whats not to like? Carrying a couple of extra pounds but I am the last to talk about that. Agrees she would like to look at my hotel room and $1500 is agreed (down from $2000). Walks to the hotel, things looking good. Immediately strips off and wants us both in the shower so she has been round the blocks a few times. No problem so far. I have not been cleaned up more thoroughly in a long time. Just about to get to bed and she asks for the money. That's always a no-no for me and she eventually accepts she is not getting paid in advance. First alarm bell. Getting down to business, she asks for condom. Too early I reply. Then says that she is restricted to being away just an hour from the bar. 2nd alarm bell. Wants to give me a BJ right away and starts but I prefer a bit of "play" before hand. Does not kiss. Another alarm bell despite an agreement in the bar about kissing. Starts to explore her – she does not like that she says. Another and last alarm bell. I tell her to get dressed, we are going back to Wan Chai. Her tears well up and it takes a few minutes for it to sink in that I'm finished. At one point I thought about hotel security in case she made a scene.
I actually walk her back to the Spin Bar, decide not to go in and see Lucy – that can wait to later. No cash asked for or given.

Stay in on Saturday night. Too busy with work to catch up and it's raining.

The aim of drink money is to get meal money for the next week. And if one goes to a bar every three months then you are a new, pretty face who may get lucky.

Well, my Filipina ex and her friends have been there for almost a year at this point, must be familiar faces to the regulars in the bars, and yet claims to be earning good money (1000 on a good night) from drinks alone. Certainly she's been earning enough to buy a lot of expensive new clothes, fund her family ers back home to enjoy their permanent holidays in relative luxury.

Some ladies who like to exaggerate or someone who has been around the block and has solid contacts within this part of the industry. The only ladies who could semi-regularly make 800 a night from drink Commissions could be from the curtain bars. Of course the ladies could be f..... the gents - Word of warning to gents who leave their CC at the bar. You may be paying dinner for the staff at the bars.

Of course I am much more inclined to believe you than my ex who already has a well-established track record of BS. I had assumed that she was probably banging the gents too, and / or found a "boyfriend" or two to get extra income from (as Bearfoot suggested). But Jackthelad's post made me wonder if it could actually be true that she is earning from drinks alone there. Anyway, thanks for clarifying this.
When you go into Flame (same owner of Taboo and Misty's), buy a girl a tequila, she will ask if you can buy the waitress a tequila also. Girl gets 100% of her commission and 50% of the commission on the waitress's drink. Same goes with girls in pairs. Meet 2 girls in Taboo who want drinks, the main one will ask you to buy her friend a drink. Main one will get 50% of the 2nd girls drinks, and it works vice versa. There are girls who will sit with lonely travellers and engage them with conversation, dance, etc.
Then there are girls who after buying them a drink will AMP the foreplay in the bar itself, and after feeling each other up with lots of kissing, coming up for air, the girl insists on her tequila rock'and roll cause she needs it to get herself horny and hey the guy is enjoying all her horniness. If they don't part ways, its kiss, buy drinks, repeat. Throughout the guy is getting drunker and drunker and the foreplay and the drinks continue. Same M O as the curtain bars.
