He also claimed to be a hitman, and the DNA from various people on his bloody hammer and rags backs that up, so that's another profession in which disguises are handy. Unfortunately, masks don't help much during DUIs, which he has been convicted of at least four times. Funny that he was not only allowed to leave the US and enter Thailand, but was hired as a teacher in Thailand. Falsely accusing people of crimes ("modern slavery") is not protected speech even in the US, which has among the best free speech protections in the world.

It's not like USA where there is freedom of speech and you can even say whatever you want about Trump. Try talking badly and disrespecting the King in Thailand and see where that lands them. Likely the hospital for starters.
Why have there not been numerous cases? Because most businesses know it's better to eat a negative review than to blow it up and receive lots of bad press. However, in these special times desperate businesses may do desperate things.
Bad dishonest reviews have no negative effect on an establishment that provides good service. A business that has its feathers ruffled by and takes action against bad reviews is one to be scrutinized very carefully.

So a teenage kid with no license takes someone's motorbike without permission. The kid runs into my friend's car causing damage to himself, the motorbike, and my friend's car.
Guess who was held responsible for all 3 damages? If you answered the foreigner then you are absolutely correct. They wanted 100,000 baht, but my friend bargained them down to 15,000 baht. I know you guys that don't like to ruin the mood by negotiating would have given them 150,000 baht for that most enjoyable BOHICA experience.

The kid did not have insurance and the farang had insurance. If, there was was no farang car, there would not be an accident. So, its a no brainer.
