You need a good strong umbrella for Bangkok. If you have only long pants, you might need to roll up the legs. LOL. I never got too worried about rain. Catch BTS or a taxi to avoid walking too long in rain. Never got struck by lighting yet. Getting bombed is more likely.

Decided to hit up the soapies today around 7 pm. MRT to Thailand Cultural Center and took exit 4. Walked for 5 minutes or so and came upon the huge Lord building. From the outside, it looks like a very upscale hotel. Made a left at Lord and a few steps later I found Colonze 2. I've read good reviews so I walked in. Only three girls downstairs in the 1,000 baht section. Upstairs, in the 2-3 k baht section were about 8 others. I was disappointed in the small selection and quality so I headed over to The Lord. The interior more than lived up to the promise of the facade. The girls were quite attractive, starting around 4.5 k and going up to 10 k (the "XL" section).
