Many nice details in the room. Large shower with granite-bench (useful if you want to have fun in the shower) , lots of mirrors, many spotlights, good AC, TV (not very useful) and strangely enough a kitchen sink.

Wanted to see if anyone else has had success in Vila Mimosa. I'm debating on wither or not to visit there at night. I imagine better girls are there at night, since it would be busier. However, Not sure I want to go there at night, as it's not the safest of places. Has anyone been there at night? Do you think it's safe there?

I have a hard time spending R$300 for a mediocre girl at the place in Barra Tijuca. I guess I'm too cheap. I just figure if I can find somewhere where I can spend R$200 all in for an hour, I'll be going there regularly.

Even Vlia Mimoso is a bit much once ou add cab fare and time. Since they are a slam bang type of place. If they were more relaxed and get to spend an hour with the girls, then I'd be ok with it.

So, finally, success. So, there is this skate park near Post 3 at the beach in Barra the Tijuca. 90% of the "women" there are transvestites. I wrote about that in a previous report. I have to admit, there were several that would absolutely fool anyone. Really good looking. In fact, all of the Trani's looked better than any of the girls.

However, I was really lucky and did find 2 that were actually women that looked great.

Behave yourself) Read the forum for reviews and reports. You can go by bus or metro. I personally find more of a quick slam bang (or two; or three) with cheap beers inbetween -type area. And be prepared to spend time looking. Many of the best girls will be unavailable a lot of the time. There are many more girls than you will see on a quick look. Many of them are not overly sophisticated and you might find an hour a lot to fill in a basic bed with a girl whose 'routine' is geared to 15-30 minutes. The privees generally offer better value if you like one-hour deals. Oh. And 200 is too much. Good luck.

I went with a girl called JuJu. Very pretty but as it turned out limited in the sack. She also, after round one, picked up her phone to check her messages. Nao recomendo. Didn't get to see Isabelle but if I went back I would see Sofia. Also, the room was good with a shower, very good aircon and a fish tank. But no sink. If you go to Emporio do Banho walk in the building and take the elevator to the 3rd floor. There are two salas on that floor. Both are part of the prive. Been going to these for a number of years, got to know some of the girls well both in and out of the termas. Safety is no problem at VM. VM has it's own safet even though you won't notice it.

Friday and Saturday are fun at VM. The whole places is rocking. But if you want to find gems and not want to being number fifteen that day you better go early.

My strategy is arriving around 4 PM. Checking out the available girls takes several alley-rounds and not only the main alleys. There are (were) 72 casas. Check them all out. Not just pass by them. Enter and seek out whats inside. Make a Plan A, B and C.

Then head out to the main road. Take guard and watch the spectacle. See what girls that turns up who has been sleeping in the casas and watch the new girls arriving. If you see a gem arrive you catch her quickly. Walk up to her and tell her you want a programa. As simple as that.

VM isn't really about getting laid for R$50-60, it's about finding gems. At least IMO.

My guess is that you would propably would be more comfortable with a upperclass privê in centro.

Yeah, when I was leaving there the other day, I went by the blue overpass, and some dude kept following me asking me for money. I was waiting for him to make a move, luckily there was this Big dude walking close by, so I walked over by him and just told the other guy Vai Embora. But had the other guy not had been there, I think the guy would have tried something. Not sure how often people get mugged in that area.

I will be heading to Rio this Wednesday, from Sao Paulo, can anybody give me a heads up on where to go, and if there is any Beach Action, and what's the going cost in the Thermas, and elsewhere.
