There is a sad lack of sanook in the Japanese P4P game- you might have found it in some of the Yokohama joints back in the day, although chances are the provider wouldn't have been Japanese. By and large the Japanese aren't really into spontaneity; they like to know what to expect, and prefer an accurate menu of services beforehand. This is probably why some of the places in Thailand that cater to the Japanese make such a big deal about "no tipping." Plenty of fun to be had with the non-P4P J-girls, which is a good thing since, as you rightly point out, the P4P in Japan is mostly off-limits to non-Japanese, although that doesn't necessarily apply to the very expensive soapies.

Starbucks for example will pay about 9, 500 for entry level, and 50, 000 / month for a branch manager.

An apartment in On nut will be around 3000 or 4000 for 1 room. Obviously less if they're sharing or get a real crap place.

In Tokyo I paid around 35, 000 yen for 2 hours with an escort catering to farangs. Which is about 6500 baht / hour.
