Long term implications : but not to worry too much as Thai economy depends on our form of "package tourism"--as Nancy Grace puts it. So, should return to normal after all this news blows over (hopefully). Not so much as how we pay for the P4P with the ladies, but all the other money--hotel rentals, food, restaurants etc . that provides the money to power the economy. Indirectly, the govt knows alot more of our money pays for Non-P4P salaries also.

Short term: With all the spotlight on LOS, there will be more "sting" operations to catch all the criminals praying on the young innocents. But with all focus on the sex trade in general, all mongering activity will be under the microscope.
Maybe alot more non-govt (perhaps Christian groups) will set up permanent bases to close down local operations (dont believe me, just see whats happening in Cambodia--Phnon Penh--they are so paranoid there but with good reason, that information posted even here on ISG resulted in closing of brothels by police and NGOs).
So short term, maybe a slowing of traffic to LOS as even people I work with (they dont know I'm a monger) say the word Bangkok with vile and distaste. Now the mere mention of visiting BKK by any male and immediately they all compare you with John Karr.
So if you were careful in the past checking gals ages, suggest you double or triple that effort now.

Oho! Now I understand what I did wrong. I once commented on this board on my first and only experience in Eden, which I found agreeable but far from justifying all the hype. The problem apparently was, I went there around 4.30 pm believing that I'd be one of the first clients of the day. (The Nana area had barely woken up yet...) The selection of girls was, well, OK... next, I was shipped off to a neighbouring hotel and the girls I'd picked turned out to be open (!) to anything but a bit rushed and mechanistic in their approach ("now you use dildo!"; lie down, I'll suck you!"; "now you f**k her a**!"...).

Apparently I simply hit their busy period. The best girls were taken, the others were in a bit of a hurry.

I can verify that Eden is still going strong. Went there yesterday afternoon, a good lineup was offered. The pickings from the left were quite lean, fortunately I am not into anal anyway and the lineup on the right was impressive. I picked a darker looking girl (looked almost Indian to me), and let her pick a friend. The friend she picked was a bit short and with some extra natural padding, however had a cute face and nice rack so I did not complain. I assume in most cases a better ‘show’ will be on offer if you let the first girl pick the second one.

The lesbian action turned out to be quite limited however, a bit of dildo f%^king and that was it. Did not have time to complain however, as they spent all of the time paying attention to me. I won’t go into too many details as this place has been covered in depth before. It was worth doing once as something different, and as an experience it was better than average. It didn’t really rock my world however, and am not too upset that as I am leaving Bangkok tomorrow I don’t really have time to go back.

Following Eden I went back to the hotel for a nap, and then downstairs to the bar (Livingstones) to sample the in-house goods. After a couple of lady drinks I bar fined the one that had chose me, and headed upstairs. I was a bit hesitant to bar fine this one as most of the conversation/warming up period in the bar was initiated by me, and we fell to silence at other times. She was a very nice and attractive girl however and she seemed as good a bet as any. Once upstairs I was not to be disappointed, however once again it was a better than average rather than life changing experience.

One more night left therefore and as I write this am considering options. In my experience a second round with the same girl is often better than the first, as the girl will appreciate you coming back and is more comfortable with you. Therefore three options, one is the short trip downstairs, another is to take above mentioned girl from Eden outside (if she is not busy), and third to expand the number of Go-Go bars I have been to beyond the current two…

Well yes and no. Eden is ok and is different, but would agree it doesn't quite meet the expectations you read from all the hype you read. I've been there 3 or 4 times and at different times of the day, inclduing around 2pm one Saturday afternoon. Never had a problem with the selection (never had a problem with anything really), but what I found is the girls have a standard operating procedure and play to that What you have written, such, rim blow. Dildo, less, fuck one, arse fuck the other, maybe some more pussy fucking is the SOP. It is really up to the client to drive things off the SOP and see what you can get out of the girls. That is not quite my style, I am usually uncomfortable with a lady the first time. So in all my times an enjoyable time was had but I have had much better times elsewhere and in much different enviroments.

If two girls are you're thing then I think Eden is worth a look. What you do with them is up to you. I had two girls from the left but didn't bother with anal. They did a bit of girl on girl stuff but I was happy to have their attention most of the time.

The girls were very friendly and at 1pm on a Fridat there were about 20 to chose from. I'll probably go back next time I'm in town.

As a recent first time visitor to Eden, I agree with the last few posts on the subject: Eden is a special place and it (only) is the right place if you know what you are looking for. The reception is friendly and professional, although it is a bit irritating to see the hottest girls entering the bar being immediately snatched away through pre-bookings (but that's not too different from other places, I guess). The line-up is ok, some even quite attractive (mainly on the "right" side), considering the special service you receive.

Depending on how picky you are, the usual method that the girl chosen by you chooses her friend might work - or it might not. For me it didn't, because my girl chose a friend who was very friendly but not my type. The girls go out of their way to please you, but as remarked before: Unless you put in some effort, the also run a kind of standard routine that will not impress those (like myself) who like the GFE part the most. I wouldn't want to have missed the Eden experience, but at least for the time being it seems like one of those experiences for which it is most important to have made them at all (at least once).

I've never been there but Soi 33 is more upscale than the average go-go. I've heard the girls aren't really any better, just dressed nicer.

A couple options come to mind:

Soi 33 has a row of bars, if you want 'quiet' bar with good girls - Monet is my suggestion. BF 1500, ST-LT 2-3K, negotiate. A couple of other places but some are noisier than others and a quite a few a rip-off joints if you don't know your prices and operating procedures.

Another good place, very low key, slightly noisier is the famous Livingston Lodge, aka Giotto Lodge(has separate thread) also on Soi 33 - his sports bar located in the hotel is small, cozy and maybe a comfortable place to start. Introduce yourself to the owner and tell him T1234 said hello...you might even get a free drink (Mr. G??). Similar prices, ask Mr. G and he'll give you straight scoop.

Some of the MP has the side-line girls, the only one I know is Long Beach on Rama IX Rd, next to Radisson hotel .... but this place might be further away from you. They have separate lounge for drinks, food, live music and good looking side-liners, from 3500-6000 Baht. An absolute beauty is Minnie (Joy) but keep in mind sideliners service 'usually' isn't comparable to fish bowl Overall ambiance and service is excellent (do search for my posts for details).

Another is Entertainment Complex, next to Cupidity (stay away from this place) - they have upstairs models section but haven't been in some time.

Another high end is Pegasus club - but not sure girls will go out with you. Do a search....also near Soi 33 off Sukhumvit.

last resort - pm 'Giotto' or better yet, go to "Places to Avoid" thread and see my listing for his place - lots of stuff in it but worth skimming through.

Last night in Bangkok and I am wondering why on earth I had to choose the last night and not the first to go to Nana Plaza! I think I died and went to heaven! This is one place you need to check out while in Bangkok...

Apologies that I was too much in a trance state to actually remember the names of all the bars I checked out. First one was Hollywood on the ground floor. A number of tall and slim but well endowed hotties in here. One in particular caught my attention, and I bought her a couple of bar drinks. Was tempted to bar fine her there and then but the night was still young and I had three floors to check out. I knew there was a likelihood she would be taken by the time I got back but considering the total selection in this place probably runs into the hundreds it would not be the end of the world.

Managed to successfully run the gauntlet of ladyboys on the second and third floor (not my scene) and went into a bar on the third floor which was two levels, with a glass floor and the dancers not wearing underwear. Regulars to Nana will no doubt know which bar I am talking about. Coming on stage the girls had loosely buttoned white blouses on, but they soon came off revealing Janet Jackson style stars. One of the girls was unbelieveably cute, with a terrific little bod. Had to buy her a lady drink, and upon being informed that there were rooms upstairs just could not wait. Until now I have been regretting that Bangkok is not Manila, however the enthusiasm, fun nature and energy level of this adorable cutie was sensational. Gave her 1500baht for her efforts and she well earned it.

The night was still young and noticed that another bar on the same side of the third floor had "Hollywood Strip" in neon. Therefore excitedly went in thinking that there would be girls inside stripping. Unfortunately after I had already ordered a drink I realised it was not the case, a double shame as the dancing girls inside were mega hot and it would have been a terrific show if they were. The only thing stopping me from bar fining one immediately was the fact that I'd just come out of a private room. Ah too many opportunities...

Made my way back down to first floor Hollywood to see if the original hottie was still there, and as suspected she was gone. Another absolute stunner caught my eye, however I was too slow and a Japanese punter wearing what appeared to be a pyjama top and with what really should be an illegal hairstyle (it really was bad - no offense to other Japanese citizens here) bought her a drink. Therefore no alternative but to buy a drink for hottie number three, and after a fair amount of time barfined her (after persuading her for a LT, which she originally was not keen on). No sooner had bar fine been paid then the Japanese gentleman with his bad hair day walked out, leaving the one I would have really prefered free. Aaargh!

Hopped in a taxi back to Soi 33, and pulled up at hotel. And who was sitting at the entrance? None other than very sweet girl who I had bar fined from on site bar the previous evening. Unimpressed look from her, and cue feelings of guilt and regret...

Therefore one quick round of boom boom in room, and despite killer body and promise of LT I then kicked her out. Call me soft, but the sweetie from the previous night was in the back of my mind. One of the main benefits of P4P is the lack of commitment, however working girls are human too and I would prefer to contribute to the idea that not all of us guys are careless pussy hunters, even if some or most of us are!

It's been a while, but the last time I was there, Pegasus girls would go out. Lounge area on the ground floor, girl selection upstairs. If you aren't familiar, it might not be apparent there are 3 different catagories: used to be, the "models" were on the right just after coming upstairs, "B" just past them and "C" across.

I was considering membership at one time, but I'm not in town often enough to justify it.
