So last night I was at 4x4. Saying the last post showing up too late would be a major understatement! I guess it was something to be experienced. Got there by taxi around 10 PM and the alley was positively alive. The streets were radically different from Zona Sul; I would say "typical large South American city" look. I got in and went through the usual termas preparation. The prices were much more agreeable than MC. While. 4x4 is much bigger than any other termas, it is cramped and very easy to get lost in. Unsure where to go next, I stumbled upon the smoking room and there were not many girls and punters. Most punters were Brazillians and I spotted some French ones a bit later. Ordered myself a beer and sat down. With this as my first impression of 4x4 I was confused as to where all the "gangsta" girls were. The girls there were slim and pretty natural. One of the girls came to greet me. Her Ingles was OK. I apologise for not remembering her name; it was very difficult to pronounce, starting with "T". And she was probably the most distinctive girl there, being petite natural with cute face, fiery red hair (probably dyed, but it suited her) , and pale porcelain skin. I got her to show me around, and soon enough we were dancing in the main boate. This place is properly packed and the girls definitely had the "gangsta" look. I urged her to dance at the pole but she was too shy. She wanted us to go back to the smoking boate but I had other ideas.
I opted for the 1-hour session as the price differences were minimal. The room would be kindly describe as shabby, good thing that it had a shower. The bad thing was that aside from the bed and the shower, the rest of the room looked as if it hadn't been cleaned properly in years and you see dark grime everywhere. The room at MC was smaller but much much cleaner. So we had a shared shower and extended foreplay. Time seemed to slip by. She was skilled at rimming and prostate massage, which I didn't expect from a termas girl. The combination of that brought me to an explosive end which she drank it all greedily. We laid on the bed until the violent knocks on the door which pronounced that we have overrun the clock for some time. We kissed goodbye and she told me "I love you". Whatever that means. Another great night of punting.
I agree with Exec Talent, for punters new to Brazillian GDPs, please prepare your heart. They are really taxing on the body and mind!
I'll write more analysis as a new punter in Rio.

If there are fraudulent charges they will ask you to identify the last charges which are yours. They then immediately credit the other charges back pending an investigation. They also immediately cancel the card and overnight (including to Brazil) you another one. Since I always have at least one other credit card with me, it is annoying and inconvenient but certainly could be a lot worse. All credit card companies have numbers on the back of the card which you can call collect from outside the US. From Skype. 800 number calls are free so that is usually how I call.
I know some of these non-sexual activity reports are boring for some people but many times for me they have proven the most valuable information I have garnered off the forum. I already know about tab A slot B and don't need graphic descriptions.

Second episode was more like what you warned of-I was on my way to MV30 about 9pm and that little road is v dark and not lit at all and 4 dudes decided to throw a bottle after me which smashed against the wall next to my head.
I weighed up my possibilities in my head and kept walking while checking I wasnt cut and went into mv30.
I could have gotten into it but would have been hurt for sure as they werent teenagers, might have been armed in which case you still get sliced when blocking and allthough I would have dished out some punishment too-I was not in the mood for a possible stabwound-bangin away in mv30 while the mattress was red! LOL.
On Avenida Atlantica a fat german tourist I had warned to speak politely to beach vendors to earlier at Posto 3 when rejecting them, got stabbed by one of them late at night-I recognized his face as he was laying on the stretcher-it was 3am-he was in a bad way.
Moral: be polite but firm-not an asshole from overseas.
Go to uruguiana metro, buy a vasco camisa. Wear it everywhere except high security areas, ie lobby of a 5 star hotel; put the vasco in your pack, and be ready to put it on anytime (eg, I did in an unplanned nightime trip to city fo god favela, or anywhere at night, especially in zona norte)
Put surigcal gloves in your pockets at all times;
always carry a tampon an electrical tape (sticks to itself) in your pack; learn to dress a gunshot or stab wound, including on yourself
Carry a cell phone at all times; if a criminal comes at you take his picture; be prepared to call police (190, or get officer of day of local mil pol battalion)
Be prepared to swim near water; wear goggles around your neck, and put your wallet in your surgical gloves, learn some basic swim strokes.
Make real friends.
tip everyone, especially the lowest class people (maids who watch your shit in the roparia at the luv motels) a little, always.
Stay away from gringo areas (copa, ipanema)
Fighting in a country where the 3 F's are the national culture (fighting fucking futbol) is even dumber than fighting in any foreign country as a rule

He's supported wearing a Vasco shirt several times on the basis of supporting the GDPs' northern homeland and also on the basis that the girls from the north (especially mad ones) become hot GDPs, and that flamengo supporters from Rio Sul only become GDPs if they're ugly. A bit of a generalisation but there's probably something in it. Yet in terms of personal security it sounds a pretty dumb idea (but I guess not everyone carries tampons for bullet wounds either eh?) Personally I mostly like to keep my uruguiana futebol shirts a bit less in-your-face. Patmar, as a carioca, can probably get away with a some things that non-cariocas would be a bit mad to try.
