I just got back from Cartagena last night. My ex girl had been bugging me to go for a while so I said why not. On Sunday we went to the mall then headed toward Hollywood beach. When we were leaving the mall I told her "look these touts are going to come at you trying to sell you any and everything so just so no and keep walking. " No sooner than we stepped on the beach here came five massage women two came to me and three to her. While I was trying to shoo the two off of me, they had already sat her down, removed her shoes and started massaging her. One of the ladies on me went over to her while the other one on me persisted even trying to pull me over to a chair which I kept denying. My ex on the other hand was getting the full treatment feet, thighs, neck, shoulders, they even tried to paint her nails. After they were done, they pulled out some laminate card with prices saying that's what she owed them. My ex is a sweetheart so she gave them the price plus a tip even though she didn't want the service. Now as we begin walking off, the lady who rubbed a few drops of lotion on my arms goes over to my ex and tells her, to pay her for the "massage" she gave me. I told ex to not pay her any attention and start walking. They followed us for a few minutes before realizing they weren't getting anything and turned around. Now I know everyone is trying to make a buck but it can get annoying. I do however help out some people around the Clock Tower with a few bucks, especially kids. On the other hand I got a super cute super sweet Venezuelan that unlike what has been bantered about on here lately had a great personality, and was an amazing BJ giver all 150 K each time. I'm ready to head back down already. Have fun boys!

The Colombian Citizens want it clean
Many ISGers claimed it was being cleared out only for the holidays and a visit from Joe Biden which never happened. One of these articles shows that citizens have been asking them to clean that shit up for the longest and the other tells how a Chilean family said they would never return to Cartagena because a hooker at the clock tower propositioned their 14 year old son saying she wanted to take his virginity as they walked past. It seems a lot of punters can not see the forest for the trees.

https://www.eltiempo.com/amp/colombia/otras-ciudades/cartagena-prostitucion-y-drogas-la-preocupacion-del-turismo-602106
It's clear to me that the Colombian citizens want the clock tower and Playa Hollywood cleaned up. A lot of mongers act as though Cartagena is one big bachelor party. It's not. It's a shared area. There's always families on playa Hollywood and in centro. Dudes need to move discreetly and dress appropriately. With that said, the government crackdown didn't seem to do much. But that doesn't mean they won't eventually.
