It was a quiet Trip. I had my son with me much of the time. Irene, age 23, came by two days in a row and fucked and blew me magnificently. For introductions, I'm a Filipino. Grew up in CDO and Manila, and transferred here to Davao year 2000. I've been around the major cities of the country. I'm 36 yo, with one son.

I married in Cebu in 91 and went to Cabadabaran in Agusan Del Norte to visit family. Went to Manila in 2001 so that my 42 year old employee could marry my wifes sisters friends daughter who was 20. They are in Maryland with two kids and happy. I divorced in 03 and have two daughters. I will be in Cebu and Agusan again in Nov. Hope to start seeing alot of PI as my younest turns 16 in December.

DLH, What do you know about this development that is advertised on the retirement authority web site.

What do you think about the Mt Apo area. Any good hotels that are up in the mountians where it is cool? How long to drive from downtown to the cool area's in the hill?

Are the NPA up in the mountians still. I have not heard anything in years but they us to be up there big time.

How about fishing, Any pier fishing? how about a dock to go out from? Would they have poles to rent.

Any good golf courses? In the hills.

There is a new mall being built. Is it easy to meet girls there. They have a smoking ban in area's. And a park where lots of people meet. Is the park a good place to meet girls.

Have you tryed the DIA dating site. Do you have luck with them living there.

These are things you could post about that would help me plan my trip to the davao area.

- If you were meaning the Linmar Towers, I've seen it, I always pass by it. It's located in the heart of the city. They've started constructing. Linmar is owned by a prominent Chinese family so I would say it's a sound investment if you plan to get a unit in the condominium they're building. It's near the schools, malls, restaurants.

Mt Apo Resort

- There's this hotspring resort just below the Geothermal Plant in the Kidapawan part of Mt. Apo. Its called Lake Agco Resort. You can take a van from Davao and it's a 2 hour ride. NPAs stay away from this area because a military brigade is camped just outside the geothermal plant. So the resort is NPA-free.

Fishing

- There are hobbyists who does fishing in the pier but an acquaintance of mine said you can't really have fun with it. He say's there are some areas for big fish catch if that's the term, but you need to rent some boat in the island. Well, if you get here, I can introduce my Filipino friend to you.

Golf Courses

- The newest golf course is in Palos Verdes, north part of the city, but it isn't in the hills. If you have friends who are executives in DOLE, you can ask them to invite you to Kawayanon Country Club. It's in Polomolok South Cotabato. This is where the executives of Dole reside. I'm not sure if they accept walkin guests in there. I've stayed with an ex-gf there whose brother work for Dole. I saw the courses and they are totally awesome with pine trees lining the greens.

New Mall (Ayala Mall)

- This is still under construction and target completion is 2012. As to your question of meeting up girls, tough luck to do it in malls. But as DS said, if you're properly dressed and corteous, some of the girls may get a liking of you and be more cordial if you try to talk to them.

The best area to hook up with girls are the live band bars in Torres, and still the place in Rizal 183. There's this bar in Lanang also called Aquarium with ledge dancers. Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays are the best days to go to these places. It's a good advise to bring a pinoy with you. If you're a group of foreigners, most probably, the girls that will go near you are professionals.

* I have to ask though, what type of girls are to your liking? I need to ask DS too on this and GE. I feel like 'my' type of girls aren't really your type. For one, I (or any pinoy) are after fair skinned ladies, the mestizas, the foreign looking ones. But from experiences, I think occidentals like the dark skinned, petite ladies.

People's Park

- This is a family themed park. People come in in groups, seldom alone. Although you can see lots of pretty people here, they arent really the type that you can hook up with.

DIA

- I haven't used DIA, I guess it's not popular for locals. I use Tagged though and I've dated (and fucked) about 8 girls from there. But it takes time to befriend each one and find their weak spots.

Davao is, at least for the moment, one of the rare success sories of the Philippienes. New investment iss flooding into the city and,art of the investment is the new condos going up throughout the downtown area. Lots of new, smaller hotels are going up as well, but I don't think the new construction extends to the Mt. Apo area.

There are three or four decent golf courses in the city and a few driving ranges, but again, I'm unaware of anything up in the mountains. Heading towards Budo, which is north and slightly west of the city center, it gets cooler and more mountainous; the countryside in that area is beautiful and cooler. However, there's nothing in that area other than perhaps the scenery, that would attract foreigners. Beyond the Calinan area, there's nothing much at all until Buda, and even in Buda there are only a couple of service stations and eateries.

Though Davao is geographically enormous, all of the amenities of civilization, and most of the people are concentrated in a relatively small area.

The pictures of Limmar towers on the web page look like the future painting stuff.

I do like the mountians and cool climate. I have traveled to San Jose Costa Rica which is up in the mountians and ranges between 60 at night to 85 during the day. But it does have lots of people and girls.

I will goggle the resort in the mountains. I will have to visit Davao before buying into the limmar condo's. But it does look like a great location. The price is half that of other area's and As noted Davao seems to be a clean and well run city. And has good hospitals. I had a neice who went to school at Brokenshire and Davao's doctors college. That is a sore subject for another day.

Well girls. Lets say I like the company of young women. For sex. lots of sex. But I do not want to marry and had a vasectomy so no more kids. So, why those two issues I will take it as it comes. Do I allways rent. Do I find a student to live in and pay the tution. I am not sure myself. What I do know is I am Roman Catholic and enjoy AA meetings. I would not buy where these and the women can be a part of my life.

But I do like strip joints, I know it is a waste of money. But I like getting excited. The issue of low crime and clean streets. Property being 1/2 compared to other places and the mountains and beach being with in hours makes Davao seem like such a great spot.

But I am a monger. So, even if there is a steady then I am bored and want more on the side. I have only golfed 5 times but know I like it. I do like fishing or just being out on the water with something to do. And Davao has that. I guess right now I just wonder about the conservative nature of Davao in Comparrison to say Cebu. The fact I can not find a single AA meeting listed on the internet in Davao.

I will come there in the next few years God willing. And it is high on places to move to. This trip will be to Cebu and Butuan to see the X inlaws. I will go to Baguio and Angles city in the future. The mountians and then the strip joints.

You know I do not know what the woman thing will be. I am a mean ole 55 year old construction worker. Union Electrician. I was madly in love in 4th and 5th grade. It ain't ever happened again. I think After seven years of divorce I am becoming comfortable with being a Bacheoler.

But, I do hope to find true love with lots of lust of course. And it will not be with a old menapousal woman. Unless of course she is rich. That is where the shit on the side is important.
