Soi Cowboy now is the best go-go bar area in Bangkok for quality and entertainment.

Although Patpong should have an honorable mention if you like ping pong shows, dart blowers, pussy writers etc (although the girls that do the shows aren't that cute) ; but it's fun for the first time; then it gets boring.

Warning: if you go, always go in the main street (is it Patpong 2?) ; go to the bars that's part of the kings / queens group. Some of the bars to the side will be rip-off bars; many ways to rip you off; there might be a sign that only says "120"; then they'll try to charge you $120 US dollars instead of 120 baht; I would say don't pay the rip-off price and they'll eventually let you go; if you pay, tour books say you can get your money back if you go to the tourist police afterwards.

Side Note: When I mentioned bars that have the top lookers, I meant the lookers in terms of the top 2 or 3 girls of the bar, not the average quality. The show does not appear to be on every night in Midnight, or if it is, the timing varies. There was a full on, graphic, show on a Weds and Thurs night a few weeks ago, at about 11-12pm.

I almost waited for the girls tongues to disappear entirely into each other. It certainly was not a put on job. It made the topless shuffle in Baccara on the upstairs glass floor (attached) seem pretty tame. First off, tourism in Thailand is such a mainstream thing that even if each and every forum member agrees on what you say that would still make not even the 0. 0001% of the totality of male heterosexual tourists visiting Thailand regularly.

Also, as I have personally experienced, there is a certain tendency for fellow forum members here on the LOS thread to bend over with their trousers down, put a lighter in front of their assholes and start flaming at you quite hard when you express such opinions of yours the same way you do.

So, bottomline is; the one you want to fight here is a lost battle, you'd better spare yourself the hassle.

Thailand will keep on going downhill as far as our hobby is concerned and no-one can save the situation from deteriorating.

Disrespecting Australian forum members won't help either, and even tho what you say about them could be true, one could argue then that Colombia and Brazil have been spoiled by Americans and so forth, so that's also an argument that is going nowhere.

Can anyone give me the definitive answer on the status of Wild Country in Washington Square. I have read conflicting reports in other forums. Some suggest it is no longer open as Washington Square is being demolished to make space for some hotel or something such as that. Others report that it is still open and going as strong as ever. I've been in BKK many times but have never been to Wild Country and would like to check it out when I'm there again in about a month.
