Just cruised to Soi Nana last night. Wasn't interested in any of the bars but the street action. Checked out the girls where all the street shops are, nothing amazing. First, I have noticed that there is a correlation, in general, between the currency exchange rate and the price of pussy. There is probably a small minority of guys that like this type of bar. That's fine with me, to each their own. But what I object to is the bait and switch tactics employed by these establishments which is especially offensive to me because they are located on Soi Cowboy which as you write "used to be [and still is] a giant farang dominated whroe house!" Most customers do not know the set up when they walk in. I just arrived in Bangkok tonight, staying at Dream hotel. Its no problem to bring a girl back. Got a rate of $57 / night so great deal for a hotel in NY that costs $400 / night. Very nice, if you like W hotels you will like it here.
