2. What on earth is spongable. Fungible? I during my 7 day stay at Sosua, never picked from the street. And in general would agree with the apparent universal view that the street kind are not that "appetizing" but hey, who am I to judge, what is delectable for you and vice versa?

In my opinion, now that I do not go to fish in Sosua, the place has this redeeming quality about it. With other places, you have to plan and work on your "game". In Sosua, all you have to do is to show up(and the place is safe). This is why I loved one story of I think, it was Gogo, who was driving along somwhere around San Pedro De Macoris and just got lucky giving someone a ride. That sure is worth emulating. LOL.

There are loads of locals spots in places like Union, Montellano, etc. Where 500 is the going rate, and the girls look just as good, if not better, than the ones in Beautiful Downtown Sosua. I do think women tend to ask more in Sosua, especially in the last few years when more people are showing up and showing what "big ballers" they are. It also depends where they are when you talk to them. A girl in Classicos on a Friday night will probably ask a lot more than she would if you chat her up on a Tuesday afternoon near her place in Los Charamicos. In the first case, she's looking for a score that night. It is her job after all. It's the same anywhere. It's a lot easier to get a date with a stripper you meet at the grocery store than to get one while she's sliding down a pole on stage.

I spent a few months in Santiago living next to a brothel. You would never know from the outside what it is. No sign, never saw any mention of it on any board. You walk in and there are women chatting with guys and each other, playing, cards, etc. Turns out you can get ST for 500-750 pesos. Many of the women are a bit over the hill, but there were at least three that were 18-20 and looking mighty good. After a while, my "regular girl" there started showing up at my place and giving me freebies pretty regularly. Then there are the well known places in Santiago that ask 2000 no matter what. Quality of women varies in both, but is definitely comparable.

I don't remember how I came across this book Trick Baby by Iceberg Slim, but that is what my report was on. And we all had to go to the front of the class to do oral reports. Now that I think back on it my 55 year old, white, conservative teacher must have been dumbfounded.

Now I am dumbfounded too, as to how in that case, the book made the cut to be written a report on.

Who's going to be in sosua between June 1-4? That's my second trip I don't know that much down there I don't want to over paid 4 everything like my first trip
