Romania has made great strides in terms of eradicating coorruption--as opposed to neighbooring and simultaneous EU entrant Bulgaria. The economy is experiencing a bit of a down turn--the real estate markest has crashed and my flat has deccreased in value by 35%--but it's better off than many other countries.

My first travel when I got my passport in 1998 was to Romania and it was a shithole for me, so I keep on travelling to all the world and never went back to Romania, as the girls are too gipsy in their attitude, not so that nice in look and everybody try to rip you off, but I am happy there are tons of men who love Romania, so they do not go elsewhere.

I personally like Romania to the point that I am considering buying an apartment in Bucarest or in Brasov. And I find romanian women ridiculously hot ... latinas with a Slavic touch. For the ones who love tall and curvey white-skinned brunettes with curly hairs, Romania is the place to be. And anyone who has spent an evening at a glam club in Bucarest like Gaia, Fratelli or Bamboo knows that the density of truly hot women is really high in Romania. The romanian girls and women (non-pros) I've had an adventure with are some of the best girls I've ever met. They were easy-going, sexually adventurous, cultured (many romanians are keen on french culture), witty and sensual. And they really love sex. hello, yes was golden time about the prices, but the attitude was the same as now. What I did not like, that in my opinion they were first of all no so that nice and also, they were trying to rip you off every time and in every way, so much dishonest even with themselfs.

the posibility of getting laid in galati it's probable the same like any other city in the romanian part of moldova.however i wouldn't recommend it.the city itself it's ugly like hell.any old nice building has bee wiped out during the 80s and there are only communist flat buildings.an walk in the city is quite depressing.the only advantage that you may have is that it's been hit by the crisis harder than many other romanian cities since a huge number of inhabitants are working for the sidex galati factory who is about to stop the activity.

if you want a little adevnture and i have allready seen that you have the balls for it i would recommend you braila .it's located in the danube delta and it used to be the golden city of the danube at the begining of the 20 century .at that time everybody on the street was speaking english ,french and german and was very cosmopolitan.after a few decades the role of the city as a danube port declined and with romania entering the communism era the cosmopolitanism was gone but the good part is that the city escaped ceausescu maddness in the 80 and it still has all of it's old buildings so i think you will find it like a 19 century french colony:)))))

the population is about 200.000 i guess and the good part is that the city is kind of isolated.from there you will have also the posibility to visit danube delta in case you want.
