I was reading the Japan forum and out of curiosity jump into the Hong Kong forum. Being a local in Hong Kong, I can tell you some of the comments you see here is plain wrong. At least that is not something the locals will do. Well, here you go, the guide from a Hong Kong person.

The first thing you need to know is get laid with a hooker/girl in Hong Kong is legal, as long as she is 18 or above. Being a hooker is also legal as long as she work for herself. (self employ). Even if you get caught by a police, you should not panic. They will just take a look your ID/passport and you can leave. But then, if the girl is 18 or below, you will be in DEEP DEEP trouble. (read jail) Always check the ID first if you are into one night stand. You know, most foreigners can't really tell the age of an asian.

The easiest way to get laid is to get on google and search the word "Sex" "141". You should come up with a website which have tons of girls you can choose from. The website itself do not provide any escort service, it is just a platform for the hookers to get customers. The website sorted by location. Most of the pretty chicks are in Shim Shai Tsui and Causeway Bay. Price ranges from $300 to $2000 Hongkies. Warning. Any girls below $400 will be freaking old. You have been warned!! Once you find the one you want, you could find the address under the picture. Take a taxi and go there. For most higher price girls, they need reservation. You will need to make a call and ask for availability. If she is available, the pimp will ask you to take a taxi to go to a pre-arranged hotel. Once you get to the hotel, you will need to call the pimp again and he will tell you the room number. You will go straight to the room. Beware that sometimes the girl in the room might not be the same one you saw on the website. If that is the case, just say no and leave unless she is prettier. However, most of the girls you see on the website should be exactly the same one when you go to the hotel room. The pimp want to make long term relationship afterall.

For the price from $300 up to $1400, all those chicks are NOT Hong Kong girls. Hong Kong chicks starting from $1500 and up. They are not cheap. Anything below $1500, they are from mainland China. This is a golden rule in Hong Kong, if the price tag is lower than $1500, 99.9% the chick you are screwing is not from Hong kong. For those mainland China chicks, do not expect they say a word of English. However, you should have no problem to communicate with a Hong Kong girl in English. They might speak with accent, but at least you don't need to use your hand to communicate like you do with mainland China girls.

To be honest, I usually just pick the mainland China girls. They are cheaper and usually have bigger tits. I can speak mandarin anyway, so communication is not a big problem for me. However, if you require someone to speak English, you might need to pick a Japanese, Korean or Hong Kong girl on the website.

A cheaper alternative for young chicks is to go to Portland street. When you go there, you should see a "KFC" at the junction. You will see a lot of yellow signs that said "指壓". Those are cheap, starting from $280 and up. When you go up there, a pimp will start calling girls to come. You can turn down 2 or 3 girls before you get into the room. Nothing special, shower, BJ, sex in 45 minutes, very mechanical, but you get the job done. All these chicks are from mainland China. Sometimes you might find some pretty one here, but sex 141 usually have a higher chance to get what you want.


Kareoke club - You will need a local to bring you there. Most Hong Kong people will go to Kareoke club. They are separated into 3 kinds. The first kind is the low end which all chicks are from mainland China. These clubs usually found in Shim Sha Tsui. You will have a KTV room to sing and have girls to sit with you. You can finger them if you like, but just not too horney. The going rate is $500 for 2 and half hour having a girl sitting next to you, another $1000 for sex. Of course you will need to pay for KTV room. A small room for 4 people is around $1500. You will need to order beer until you reach the minimum. You can pick whatever girls you want. The manager will bring you girls to choose. On a busy night peak hours(9pm - 11pm), you might need to wait for girls because all of them are working. The 2nd kind basially is the same as the first one except these clubs in Wan Chai. (No, not those cheap bars you see on the street in Wan Chai) Unless you have a local to bring you there, you have no clue where they are. The going rate having a girl sitting next to you for 4 hours is $1000 and $2000 for sex, the KTV room charge is usually $2500 and up for a small room. *Usually* the girls in Wan Chai is a bit taller and prettier, but to be honest, I don't see that much difference. The third kind is the most expensive one. Girls are from Hong Kong. The going rate having a girl sits with you + drink is around $2500 per head a night, no room charge. The fee already include the girl + drinks + room charge. Sex is not gurantee and you will need to ask the girl. And you can't finger them in anyway or they will just leave the room. If you are lucky enough and the girl do happen to like you, the price tag for 1 shot is $2000 and up. So, we are talking 5 grand a night at the minimum. You might ask, why kareoke club? The reason is that Hong Kong people would like to sing and drink with friends. After they have all the fun, they got the choice to have sex. The Kareoke club is more like a place for friends to hang out and drink, sex is optional.

One night stand - to be honest, if you are after Hong Kong girls, you are really out of luck unless you look like Brad Pitt. Most Hong Kong girls are not really into foreigners, especially strangers. Your best bet is pubs in Lan Kwai Fong. You might get a chance to meet OL and Hong Kong girls who speak fluent English over there. If the Hong Kong girls speaks perfect English, most likely she is working in a first tier bank somewhere in Central who meet foreigners on a daily basis. No fantasy here, they know all about you (foreigners). However, as I said, unless you are handsome, the chance of getting one night stand with Hong Kong girls is not high. But then. there are lot of philpinos there if you are not too picky.

Sorry for asking question that I might pick up by reading prior posts but I do not get into HK very often and stay in Kowloon area when I do. Know about 141 site but wanted to go to good pick up bar in Kowloon. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I did some searches and learned that Hari's in Holiday Inn and JJ's in Hyatt are pretty good late in evening and that Sticky Fingers can be good. Would still appreciate some input

I am no Brad Pitt but I have done ok with first time HK local girls. I think you are off base here. The key to getting them in the sack is the size of your wallet not looks.

Generally agree with most of what Nghowaan said and it provides a summary of part of the scene in HK from a local perspective.

I have to disagree with him somewhat about local HK girls and expats. I think for those just passing through town in would be hard to have a one night stand but not if you live here. Many of my staff comment on how lucky I am to be a gwielo and the advantages that it provides.

I agree with HKDog it seems the size of ones wallet is a huge attraction here. Some girls seem to get wet here as soon as they see your business card or hear where you live.

Also there are many HK girls that have gone overseas for schooling and some come back with a thing for white guys. I have more than one HK female friend who will pick up a white guy for fun. I will agree that Nghowaan that those who are pretty and have great English tend to have good jobs (I have some working for me) so they will not be looking for any poor slob.

Other than pay for play I tend to stay away from HK girls for one night stands. Central is too small and you never know when you are going to be walking into a bank or law firm and have to deal with an awkward situation. Too many other options.

Then I see NgHoWan revived things a bit even if he is for the most part simply wrong about the bit that all girls under $1,500 are either mainlanders or dogs. Neither is true. Altho a lot of his points are useful.

Anyway ... here’s a quick run down on purple sign places (which are way below No Fun's $1,500 threshold), with a few of the places (some mentioned in prev posts) that me and me mate have been researching. The purple signs are places a bit down market from 37 Dundas and K Pressure in that its an all in one, ie, you don’t go upstairs to a ‘hotel’. Service is consistent, however, the girls try to please, and the mama usually checks after that service was good!

The girls are not stunners, most are mid to late 20s; some are a bit past their use by date, but many can be quite attractive. In comparison with the 141 individual places where service is often very hit and miss, and with the hotel girls where it’s often a CWOT apart from seeing a beautiful girl underneath you, you will basically never leave a purple sign place without a smile on your face. They are all very happy humping grounds.

Most places claim they’re open 24 hours, which is probably true, but few worthwhile girls come on shift before 2 pm, although there’ll be some hanging round all the time.

All the girls are legal in that they have Hong Kong ID cards – unlike 8 Mong Kok Rd.

They’re probably all triad run, but they’re all upfront and straight and many of the mamas and papas at the front desk speak often quite good English. You wont get ripped off, have gear stolen etc, in any of these places.

The charge at most of em is $360 more or less, for 45 mins. This is an all-in charge (puns are free), there’s no extra charge for the room, nor are you expected to tip. You pay afterwards at the front desk. Give em $400, they’ll put down two 20s; leave a $20 tip on the tray.

Most have a small generally very clean room with plastic covered bed and mirrors all around; shower toilet attached; TV with porno film on; you get ice and fire in many of em

The Routine is standard: Shower, BBBJ in shower; onto bed, back licking, AR; turn over, body massage, BBBJ, the works

Four I’ve tried out (all up on 2/F):

Club Meeting, 392 Portland St, mama is Nancy, no shit and v straight woman; good service, no hassle place; problem with rooms there at the moment, however, in that you now need to go to a sister place on Portland on the other side of Prince Edward Rd. (one of Nancy’s guy leads you the 100 meters; its no prob)

Gam Tin, 457 Shanghai St; friendly service

Sam Chuen, 685 Shanghai St; friendly service; friendly mama who speaks good English

Ging Wah, 398 Portland St – Surly service by guys at the front desk; quite a long wait for past her use by date girl who eventually turned up (I’d avoid this one, but that may have been just an off day!)

As HK laws are a bit strange in itself. You can be in a room with one girl even if they are a prostitute. But more than one girl you can be arrested because multiple girls would signify prostitution ring. That's what I heard. Perhaps I am wrong. Please correct me if I have the wrong information.

In terms of the 141 apartments. I feel that it's a bit better because most of the women are independents. As opposed to the triad run places, not all girls are willing to be in that line of work.

Just my two cents. But the places you described, I have heard give wonderful service though.

AsnDragon you are correct in your understanding of the law. The purple sign places are still quite safe for punters although I do not venture out to them often, although I did last night for the first time in quite a while.

John has recommended some good places in the past and I have found out about a few good places from him.

Just wanted to say thanks to Scorpio33 for the "Zuji" lead. I'd never heard of them and zuji.com looks to be a fairly complete and useful travel site and company.

Customer Service has no problem dealing with an off-continent traveler. All correspondence has been cordial and business-like.

One concern I have is that in contrast to some of the Mainland agencies (like c-trip, etc.) they don't have a "meet & greet" desk at HKIA nor do they offer a direct to hotel service. This means that if you're not able to book and receive an e-ticket, one has to go to their HK office to pick up your paper-work.

Beyond that they look to be great! Does anyone know if "Zuji" advertises in the local media and are there any other groups like them in HK?

Typically they have some decent online deals all over Asia. However, there are often some strict limitations for the cheapest tickets - ie: must use Visa card; must travel with 2 people; must stay 3 days, but no more then 5; etc. It just really depends on where you're going and the time of year. Several weeks ago, they had a return fare from HKG to XMN for HK$588 plus tax.

Strike - get out of Holiday Inn (Hari's) onto Nathan, make a right turn, make another right turn onto Mody and walk several blocks to STICKY FINGERS - should find some talent there. If you do a search in the forum you will find further information on Sticky Fingers

Why anyone would travel 10+ hrs on a plane and not want to travel 15min thru the tunnel to Wan Chai is beyond me. Sticky Fingers has girls there. The word 'talent' is debatable.

My two cents on this: I have had a number of HK girlfriends, but I have been here almost 20 years, and have made friendships which led to something else. There is one category of HK woman which hasn't been mentioned: Women who were born on the Mainland, and came to HK as teens or later. My best experiences have been with such women, whether for one night or one month or a year or more. For someone just passing through, it could be hard to tell who's who in this way, but for expats who live here, I wonder if any of them have had the same experience. The truly local girls are still sleeping with Hello Kitty in their 30s, if you know what I mean.....
