I came to Prague first time 11 years ago and it was one of the best places in Europe. Now things are bad, has anyone tried Octopussy Bar Prague?

It was an institution that represented Prague so well. Old word charm, mostly Czech women, not overly commercial. It wasn't the biggest hub of activity but to me its closing was emblematic of the wider trend. In the years prior, I had noticed the symptoms of decline. Firstly the escort agencies became less reliable and the flow of fresh new girls became very weak. There are girls on some of the big escort sites that have been there well over 10 years with no new faces. Then show park changed, less Czech and more ROs and other imports. Then the Czech girls disappeared from the European scene, they used to be in Germany and Netherlands quite often. Now not at all. Then the porno scene started to die off. I used to know a few people in that industry and their supply has dried up so much that they now import from Latin America to keep the Prague productions going. Then K5 closed and that's when I said ok. Thats the end of an era. I do not know what killed the party. But that party is now over.

So what's left? The Privats? Sure. I suppose you could spend your days running around town knocking on doors and hoping for the best. It's not exactly glamours but it sure does the trick and at a good price too. If I was local I'd be doing it all day.
