Well, next time this happens please think of other mongers before you stupidly pay and walk out.
It would seem the girl knows she has something wrong but has not told Mamasan or she would not be working and would be on medication.
Obviously the girl is lying to Mama and trying to keep working, needs the money or something.
When you went downstairs you should have "Sorry, she is sick" and if needs be point at her, her genital area and say "problem". A number of the girls do speak good English, had you demanded to explain in English it could have been done.
I am sure if Mama had known she had a problem you would not have been asked to pay and "Anne" would have been dismissed and with no chance to give a similar bad time to another monger.
It sounds like the girl lied to Mama and said in Thai you cannot get it up or something and do not want to massage now. Hiding the fact the reason is she is possibly sick.
However, you simply paying and walking means she is stll working there and still can infect someone else.
Next time, please think of fellow mongers and if you find any girl who has a problem in any place, report it to the management/Mamasan.
I visited Tulip last night after many months of absence. I choose one girl that it is the first time I see in Tulip. Her name was Anne (or something like this). Young, beautiful small lady with very nice face and decent body. Shower was very conservative for the Tulip but OK.
Back to bed and Anne is lying on her back and open her arms and invites me to a DFK. Nice signal I thing, this could be GFE. After a couple of minutes of very passionate DFK I decide to go down for a DATY. Intermediately Anne puts her hand in front of her pussy and she clearly signals that doesn't want DATY. That's odd I thing and I insist and I remove her hand from her pussy. I notice that something is not good down there and I open gently her pussy lips. Surprise: I see a kind of not right formation, a white spot something like a wart but not a wart. She has an expression of big pain in her face. I look at her and say "please let me see" I open more and I see that this white spot on her pussy goes long back. I am not more curious, I stop touching her and I say "sorry something is wrong here". She says that she knows that she has been to the doctor and the doctor said to her that it is OK. She also tells me that she used to take some medication but she is not taking any more. I tell her that there is no way that I'll continue and I start dressing. She asks me if I want to choose another girl but I say "no thanks".
Down to the reception, she says something in Thai to the mamassan who immediately asks me the 400 Baht (as you understand I was in the room for less than 10 minutes). I say no because I've had no massage and no service and she replies "if you want massage go down pick another girl but YOU WILL PAY". I really have no interest to start an issue, I pay her and I am leaving saying "that's was my last time here". And I mean it.
Well, I do not know if the problem with Anne's pussy is something innocent but I don't thing so. Maybe it was just an old infection that left a scarce but again, I don't take this kind of risks. It seems also that the issue is know to the mamassan but they still allow to Anne to work under these conditions! So sorry but this is too much and this kind of behaviour is a big risk for the customers.
In any case I've made up my mind and I'll not go again, but this report is also a warning to fellow mongers. Be careful and if by chance you take Anne check her pussy first.
I do not know of any Anne at Tulip, but Ant sounds similar. That would be a shame, because she's so nice.

Well, I am thinking of other mongers and this is why I report the incident because the important think mongers should know is about health risks. I told to the mama that she is sick but she was insisting that I pay.
You call me stupid but if you think a bit you'll understand that stupidity lies behind a behavior that says "I care more about 400 Baht than my health". I am not going to start an argument with you and do not expect any other reply independently of how more offensive you can be in next messages. I simply ignore people that call me stupid in an internet forum.

Yea, maybe it was Ant that sounds similar. Actually when I asked her name she said something like "aann" and I supposed "Anne". Indeed she is such a nice and cute face.
I told to the mama that she is sick but she was insisting that I pay.
I appreciate the head's up.
Since the message MIGHT have been misunderstood by the front desk, has anyone ever thought of reporting it via their contact channel:
The Pro,
I am sick and tired of this bullshit.
If this had happened at Annies we would get a complete different comment, and Aey would be the "greedy" massage parlour owner, who sends sick girls to serve customers.
I know Tulips for years now, I watched their development since they evolved from the split/downfall of Barons - and I even know Saeng as a customer. The behaviour of the mamasan[s] in this case match[es] exactly with my experiences: They don't care much about a single customer experience at Tulips. At Annies - they care much more!
I have complained/informed (some times) about bad experiences at Tulips (may be I was the only one in all those years) ... and the reaction was usually a face showing no emotions at all - and presenting me the bill.
Lifeingr,
you did the right thing, let it go, don't create a lot of problems (it's not worth it, and you really don't want to have problems with Thais, really not!!!), but write about it in the internet.
As for our experienced wonnabe Thailand expert: I am surprised that you expect a Thai person to forget about a possible revenue once it obviously was generated (whether the service was lousy or not). That's completetely un-Thai - and people who know Thailand would never write such nonsense. Once the service started it has to be paid for.
It's simply LOUSY advice given here.
Newbies, if you ever get into such a situation, and the question is to pay THB 400 or get into trouble - pay that damned THB 400 and get out of the shop. You don't need to return to that shop, and all you lost is - 13 USD !
If you cannot afford to lose USD 13 in a problem situation - don't come to Bangkok!

Disagree here totally.
Why are you paying when the goods are damaged?
If your story is true then if you told Mamasan clearly that the girl was sick down below they should not have charged you anything.
Do not let people walk all over you, you are the customer.
Be polite, tell Mamasan sorry the girl is sick. If no success then politely ask to see the the boss to complain.
One trouble with Tulip is sometimes the girls work behind the counter if Mama is not about. So ask to see the boss.
Ignore idiots telling you to just hand over the money and run away, you can stand your ground, be polite and do not get upset, just clearly state your case and ask for the boss.
If mongers make a standpoint, clearly and politely and to the right people it makes things better.
If mongers are stupid and pay and run away then more and more places will try to rip off other mongers.
Stand your ground, in a polite way, at least until the big boss knows the problems.
No doubt if your room at LL is damaged or leaking water or has rats Giotto will similarly advise you to pay in full and not argue.

I'll confirm that this is Ant. I didn't see exactly what you saw but saw something else. Mentioned it to her and recommended what she needs to do and she said she saw doctor but whatever he suggested 'hurt'. So I've been cured with my infatuation with her cuteness.

Yes I know I've not described what I saw very well, but I don't have the medical vocabulary to describe what I saw in details; I definitely remember though that is was something white. The only think I am sure is that it didn't look normal to me.

So is this the problem you have with LL? You stayed there and there was some problem with your room? What exactly happened to you at LL? Did one of the girls in the SB make fun of your package?
you really don't want to have problems with Thais, really not!!!
I gotta go with the numbers here: 4000+ vs < 300, always siding with experience.
You DID get wronged by Tulip, and in a perfect world, it would have ended the way YOU expected. Maybe it would have helped if the boss was there and you could have talked to her. BUT this is not a perfect world, it's Thailand, and you have to view it from their point, through Thai glasses:
TULIP delivered what THEY had promised:

a room, which you did use, even if briefly, and would now have to be tidied up
a shower, which you did use, if only once
a towel, which you did use and could not be used again until washed (or at least dried)
clean sheets (well, hope they were), which would PROBABLY have to be changed (one can always hope, anyway).
a masseuse for a massage (NOTHING more from the "house") which you found fault with. They did offer you another masseuse, which you refused. Anything extra was between you and the masseuse - Tulip's not 'all-in'.
So, from THEIR point, they had delivered all that the house offers, and you owed them 400 baht, whether you used the room for an hour (after all, you could have just had a massage from the original, or the substitute), or 10 minutes. Their employee might have been ill, and OBVIOUSLY EVERYONE knows why you go to Tulips, but that would not effect the services you paid TULIP's for.
Yes, it's not "right", and a "good" establishment would have handled it differently, but they chose not to. So you did what you could, will not go back, and warned others to be cautious or avoid.
Now, I have never lived in Thailand, but I've visited often enough that I understand the potholes that exist here. You don't think there's a contribution to the Police Christmas ball fund made by Tulip's... and they're not Christians... I've never seen it but I'm bright enough to know that Tulip has some sort of security around, for emergencies... and the good security, you don't see...
A simple phone call or a scream for help and you might find you have more attention than you want. You HAVE walked out without paying the bill... And do you really want to be answering exactly why you know that there's something wrong with this Thai's vagina to the Thai POLICE?"
Don't know about your neighborhood, but in mine, we can bad mouth all the neighbors, AMONGST ourselves, that we want. But let a stranger, let alone a foreigner, come in, and start taking advantage of a neighbor (from OUR point of view), and you know what? Suddenly, we're ALL brothers (as in brothers-in-arms).
400 baht compared, in the best case, to several hours explaining to the police why you were wronged? Well, to some, might be a lot, but for my hourly rate, damn cheap to be on my way, intact.
Same for "waiting for the boss". I might be willing to wait for 30 minutes, but after an hour... I've got better things to do with my time. Yes, they win, but exactly how much is YOUR time worth? You can try and go to the top, but there comes a time to cut your losses and move on, spending the time posting (at least Aey does read her establishment's reviews :) ) If it's that big a deal, call, find out the boss IS there, return and complain.
Now I'm sure some here will say that I'm just letting them threaten me as I always do, and get away with it (not quite understanding that while all the facts in an FR are true, some might be overemphasized for "entertainment's" effect). I'm the customer, and have "rights". Fine, go complain to the Better Business Bureau, or the Consumer Protection Agency (as the BKK Post DB column might say, "There's a BBB in Thailand?").
I've been around long enough to understand "discretion over valor", and do understand how easy it is to fall off a curb here. It all comes down to the business card you can pull out of your wallet (no, not YOUR business card, but the card of your Thai powers-that-be friend) compared to the card they can pull out. With Tulip, I'm willing to bet theirs has a "General" in the title, and could trump any that I could produce.
Besides, for 400 baht, you've got a good war story to tell, how you avoided physical injury by being observant, while you wallet wasn't so lucky :)
Like I say, go with the numbers...

This is actually sound and solid advice. No need to start a war with anyone over 400B but as a customer you should always firmly but politely let purveyors know when they fall-short.

Come on, The Pro, you are starting to really come across as a complete Moron. I mean, we know you are (at least @ ISG) but now even other Forums start to see you as nothing more than a shit disturber.
I thought of you as an educated man with a "bad Mission" and I somehow, respected that. but lately you try and do everything to prove you're a complete idiot, I think it's time to stop before even the newbies take you for a fool.
