For me it was $125.00 for the night, very reasonable, and less than Ipanema in Singapore where it usually is 200 singapore dollars for short time.

Just an update on the bus from KL to Singapore. I was given the advice that the bus from KL to Singapore is inexpensive, easy, and fast and preferable to taking a cheap flight. I found this to NOT be the case. The bus ride itself was cheap, $12.50 USA Or so. But then there is the taxi ride to the terminal, and the taxi ride from the Beach Road stop to my hotel. Both were equal to the taxi rides to and from the airport. The bus ride itself was nice enough, but not really any scenery, it's just frickin' palm trees for 5 hours. Traffic through Singapore customs was jammed up, it took and hour to just get to the point where the bus could drop us off. Then a long walk to immigration. Though there was only 13 people in front of me it still took an hour to get through. Very slow. Customs was also very slow since they were looking for people with packs of cigarettes to tax. When I finally got through, my bus had left! I had to pay $10.00 for another bus to complete my trip to Beach Road.

All in all a flight would have been better. At least transit time would be 45 minutes instead of 5. 5 hours, and customs and immigration would be faster.

The fare is double than what you paid (90 RM), but is proportioned to the quality of service.
