A long time ago I said something to the effect that I was looking forward to hearing his perspective on things in the Phils; that is to say from a younger guy on a tight budget. 1) ISG board is a good source of information, all information, not just brothels and hooker prices. ISG is one of the best places to find out what hotels are girl friendly. Which is very important for someone like me who plans to be meeting women and bringing them back to the hotel. At the same token, mongers here at ISG could maybe gain info from me as I might be a little more plugged into the normal bar and club scene. The more information, insights, and trip reports the better in my opinion.

2) I enjoy the seedier areas, gogo bars, strip clubs, and freelance clubs. Great places to go and have fun even if you are not looking to P4 P. Not to mention the chance of getting a hot girls number and maybe fucking her for free. Like I said, I like to begin my nights in Manila at MBC shooting pool, having a few beers, and shitting the breeze with some WG's and waitresses.

While I didn't fuck the number I originally planned, that in no way made my trip a failure or set me up for some fall. I fucked plenty of girls and had a great time. The only way for a trip to be a failure for me would be to completely strike out and not get laid. I get ridiculed for xy and z. This board and a few of it's members have an issue with people doing things differently or having differing opinions and can tend to flame others.

Due to no electricity or water here, I went to a hotel in Manila the 2nd morning after the typhoon. On the ride in I remarked that Manila seemed to have significantly less damage than where I live. We actually got off the bus across the street from the Edsa complex. Our electricity and water returned on my 3rd day in Manila.

day 1.

arrive in manila around 12 pm. i had already exchanged about 300 usd at the airport in seoul. airport taxis are crazy expensive (quoted 700 p to go to paco). after walking around outside i found a white taxi willing to take me for 350 p. the drive only took 25 minutes to my surprise.

check into the gohotel otis located at robinsons ortis mall in paco. nice room for about 20 usd a night. only complaint is the internet is painfully slow. enough for basic browsing but streaming video is very hard if not impossible. not sure if this is just a problem with my room or a hotel problem. location is pretty convenient for me. mall has places to eat and a super market. about a 8 minute ride from malate. i've been taking the moto taxi. not sure the right price but they tell me 80-60 p and i say 50 p which they agree. i am thinking this is too much. should probably tell them 40 p. head to the robinsons malate mall kinda early 8 pm. fuck around for about 30 minutes and then head to mbc. there was not hardly any cute waitresses like last time. i think i only saw one worth chatting to. beers here are expensive at 120 p for a sml. didn't really pay attention to the working girls. i played on game of pool and made a few laps for dipping to go to bellagio square. place was pretty lively and had a bang playing. i text a girl i met online who i knew always went to bellagio square. literally 30 seconds after messaging her i see her with a friend sitting at some tables. i join them and later another friends arrives. we decide to go to exklusiv. no cover. people dressed on he nicer side. played techno much to my despair. night was going good. i danced with my girl and made out. then someone goes and steals her iphone. completely changes the mood as she get upset and pissed. we decide to leave and hop in a taxi. at this point i am not sure what she is planning to do ie get dropped off with her friend or go back with me. i didn't mention anything and kinda took a wait and see approach. get to their apartment and she says she will message me later. at this point i was like fuck. i tell the taxi to take me back to my hotel, half way i change my mind and say fuck this and tell the taxi mbc. its pretty late at this point but first night in manila i need to get laid.

get to mbc and i post up with a beer. start chatting to a chinese american guy. a pretty good looking girl sits next to us. the guy and her talk. he ventures off some where and she tells me that she doesn't think he will take her. i said how much did you charge him and she replies 3,000 p. i tell her that is too much and that it is pretty late. she should offer him 1.5-2 k. we chat for awhile and i tell i'm going across the street for food and she decides to join me. the fucking sun is up. we eat and she says lets go to my hotel. i make a crucial error here. i don't clarify and money issues, however i am pretty sure i told her inside mbc that i don't pay for sex. regardless we get back to hotel, i stop into the mercury drug next door and get a andros pill (250 p? go up to room and she takes a shower. laying on bed and she asks me how much will you pay me. i want to tell her nothing but i know she won't do that (she appears to be about her paper). i tell her 1. 5 and she counters with 2 k. i reluctantly agree. bad decision as i didn't even get a nut from it. this girl i could tell was rushing me and i just lost interest and told her to leave.

with the lack of a cute waitress i doubt i will be returning to mbc on this trip. i will also have to make damn sure i mention money when attempting to shore. rookie mistake i know smh.

on a positive note it feels damn good to be in philippines. got a date lined up for tonight with this girl i posted earlier in the thread.

day 2.

sleep most of the day due to going to bed so late. go and grab some lunch downstairs in the mall. beings the previous night i was with a girl and her friends i wanted to spend this night out venturing around alone. before leaving the hotel i make a map of malate to guide me around. i get a moto taxi to take me to robinsons malate. get some icecream and venture around. after awhile i head to mbc. go upstairs and spend most my time chatting with the waitresses. there is one cute one and was confusing me. it was clear i was favoring her and she would reciprocate some but then retreat. not sure what the deal was but i grew tired of it and went back downstairs. i spot one pretty cute petite waitress i didn't notice from the other night. i might go back to mbc at some point to chat with her if i have some time to kill. leave and head to bellagio square. sunday night and kind of early so not many people. i have 1 beer at the place from the previous night with the girls. the waiters ask me where is erica and i tell them she is staying in tonight. finish my beer quick and start venturing around.

happen upon super six which was dead / empty. next up i hear some music and a good crowd at calle 5 so i decide to go in. first thing you notice is the large number of waitresses. a band was playing and there was a small dance floor with local filipinos dancing. this is a pretty local joint. only saw 1 other white guy in here. i nurse a beer and leave after the last band plays. next up i look for cowboy grill. get there and the place is packed. lots of foreigners with girls. get a beer and make a few laps around the place hoping some girls would bite. no luck. as i mentioned most tables were mixed sets from my recollection. not a great place to go for pickup. funny note i saw a girl a met online her with some white guy. after a short while i leave. chat with about 5 street kids and tell them ill get them icecream. all of a sudden the 5 kids ballooned to 20! lol go into the 7/11 and have them all pick out what they want. price was more than i expected (800 p). oh well, good dead for the day. should have took them to a angle burger i saw afterwards, 20 p for burger.

continue walking around and come up paddys point. a place i have heard about but never included in my manila sheet / map. hear music and go in. decent little crowd all local. pound back 1 beer and continue on. next up was the other cowboy grill. pretty good crowd here too. smaller than the other cowboy grill. also played hip hop i believe. didn't even get a beer here and left after one lap. at this point i want to hurry up and get to exklusiv or zzxyz so i make my way to remedios circle. see zzxyz (no cover) and decide to go in. lots of girls without guys here. what i heard was true ie many asian guys here. music was not to my liking though as this place place house / techno. i get a beer and post up near the dance floor. no immediate heavy iois. go upstairs to chill over looking the bottom floor. after about 40 minutes i decide to call it a night.

this was a very poor night. i really shit the bed. normally there are a few girls to actively open me every night but last night that was not the case. i can't use that as an excuse. there is no reason why i didn't open at least 5 different girls last night. on top of that i was only searching for iois at half speed. i didn't make solid eye contact like i should have been. it should be criminal to go alone home in philippines. got to be more pro active if things are not coming easily, which they won't every night.

anyways just got to fix these issues and stop being so damn lazy. got a date tonight which i am 90% sure is dtf. we will see.

day 3.

did my normal day routine ie sleep in late, mall for lunch and relax. set up a date with a girl i met on fc. met her at robinsons malate at 10 pm. she came from antipolo and asked me to pay for the taxi ride. it was about 300 p. the mall joints are closed and i am wondering where to go. decide to head to remedios circle as i am sure there are some eats there. take taxi and go inside cafe adriatico. i have read about this place online and i knew it prob wouldn't be cheap, but was tired of walking around so went in. we shared some calimari and some pasta. bill was like 650 p. quite a bit more than i prefer to pay to eat. should have found a jolibee or chow king lol. finish eating and go to zzxyz. no cover like usual and ladies received a free drink. to my surprise they were playing music i liked old school rap and hits from 90's and 00's. we arrived a little early maybe 11 pm. was a barely decent crowd but a lot more people streamed in over the next hour and a half. was kind of wanting to be solo to chat up some of these girls. a lot of these girls seem to be on the catch / hunt. not sure what the actually ratio is tho. will have to test it out and give it some more thorough observations. me and my girl dance a little bit and have about 3 beers. (100 p each).

i am spending about 2,500-3,000 p a day. a bit more than i would like. i need to cut this down to 1,000-2,000 p. mall food / restaurants / local pinoy fast food is costing me about 150-300 p a meal.

malate has a shit ton of homeless. this doesn't bother me, but it is making me think twice about bringing girls there. i am thinking i need to find a new date / clubbing spot. problem with that is all the other options are going to be a lot more expensive with large covers and higher drink prices. i need to get to asking some locals for cheap lively spots in makati.

so far i think zzxyz has the best pick up potential in malate. will probably be my main solo hunting spot.

i want to say i'd skip manila but it is so large that i need to not think in a vacuum. to do manila you need to do your homework and do it right.

the traffic here is so terrible you must have all types of venues in walking distance or a very short cab ride away. and by all venues you are going to need.

1) mall.

2) live music venue.

3) dance club.

i've never really thought about the live venue part but its important as some girls are not going to be the "clubbing" type. so you will need a night spot to bring them to and drink and run normal attraction game.

as for the areas of manila i think the best place to stay would be quezon city. this place has a ton of venues, traffic is not as bad, and many girls (of which you can specifically search online), not many foreigners, etc.

the only other options i would consider would be makati and the fort. and honestly i would not do the fort unless you looked like brad pitt, very good game, and a large bank roll. makati is kind of a middle ground. i can't recommend malate as the p4 p scene is just too great and on top of that the korean influence / preference is very strong. you can get ons but it either takes 1) luck or 2) relentless opening. bringing girls here is problematic as well as its the redlight area and tons of trash and homeless people. this doesn't bother me, but can maybe put girls off from meeting there.

another thing, set your dates up a day in advanced. many girls work at night at call centers or have other stuff going on or live at home with parents and have problems going out late. i've been having some issues getting dates for night trying to set things up last minute. granted my shit internet has probably affected that considerably.

i am kicking myself for not including davao on my itinerary. foreigner appeal is not as high as i'd like in manila and cebu will be no different. speaking from a pure nightlife perspective as online is still gold.

appears my reporting stopped for manila here and the next post was a cebu update. funny note from the above girl i met, she looked very trashy and her stepdad was not her real stepdad. just what she called him for whatever reason. i made up some lie about my friend locking himself out of our apartment and that i needed to run home real quick to let him in.

anyways, all my days were pretty much the same.

sleep in late, get lunch at the mall. watch tv or a movie online and other random bullshit to kill time until about 10 ish. set up a date from online for the girl to meet me at robinsons malate. take a trike to malate. (i tried to alternate one night having a date and another night going out solo which probably came out something like 60/40 date / solo). hit up robinsons for dinner then walk to mbc. have a few beers, play a game of pool, shoot the breeze with some of the freelancers and waitresses. around 12 am head to one of the clubs in malate, makati, or qc. did most my dates in malate as it was close to my hotel. would usually meet them at robinsons and take them to zzxyz or exklusiv then back to my hotel.

some final thoughts on manila.

would not recommend staying in paco and esp at gohotel otis. internet was horrible. traffic was pretty shitty as well. on my next visit i will rent an apartment off airbnb in makati.

plan your dates a day or two in advance. i had a slight issue with setting up dates with girls (the best of my crop) on quick notice. my dumb ass would wait until 12 pm - 10 pm until i sent them a message on fb to meet me that night. also, need to go ahead and get the girls phone numbers asap. some girls don't check facebook 24/7 and or delete their account etc etc.

to be honest i much prefer cebu as a city. only problem there is just how small it feels and having your cover blown.

zzxyz is not the best club for a young white guy looking for free poon. well, the poon is not going to fall in your lap. i found girls there to all be primarily hunting koreans and japs. which sucks because this place is very lively with some nice lookers. come here you better be prepared to approach many girls until you find one that bites. i only made a handful of approaches and that was not nearly enough.

exklusiv is a great club. mostly locals with a solid mix of normal girls and semi pros. there was a handful of foreigners in there but nothing too bad.

quezon city is absolutely great. only problem is it is alittle out of the way. tons of cute young girls. hardly zero foreigners. my main club excess closed down recently so i will have to find another haunt to frequent.

You are most certainly welcome here. I was a PUA in my 20's and early 30's, and now that I am in my forties, I have ten years of P4 P under my belt. I am also married now, so don't have time or energy for the research, set up, and communication demands of a PUA. Besides, I am getting old and lazy.

Still, I like to go out and score at least one or two each trip, just to make sure that, pushing 50, I still can.

Tbt I do not consider myself a PUA. Far from it. Zero skill required to pickup girls in the Philippines. Just have a beating heart and you are good to go! It is not the easiest country in the world to get laid for nothing.
