I think the Panamanian girls are quite pretty, especially if you like darker-skinned women with more rounded features. The Colombianas are hot too, but most I saw were blonde, a bit taller, and more slender.

I found the women to be quite open in making eye contact and indicating interest. I think it might have something to do with where you are in the city, however. In the El Cangrego area I didn't notice it so much, but when I was in the Calidonia neighborhood I got much more interest.

One night I took a Panamamanian friend to dinner and after flirting with the waitress a bit she was so flustered she tried to bring us another table's order.

I realized after I posted that I forgot a bottle blonde silicone Cali girl from Gold Times. One thing that I don't like about GT is that the lights are bright, the chichas do parade in front of you, but the go in an out in half a second. Ok, so Tuesday night I did go out since I was in Cangrejo. There were a ton of street cops that appear to be hassling folks, so FYI. A cruise past Habanos showed all the chairs outside full, but I didn't stop. I when upstairs at Life Girls, and the was no one even at the door, let alone cover. There were 5-6 girls, all with guys, and none worth talking to. I stood at the door for like five minutes waiting for one of the "waiters" (i.e. touts) to approach, but they didn't even bother. Not worth it. So I left. No ladies near the McDonalds, but there were several on the street around the corner from Manolos...a bit out of sight. They all appeared to be very dark-skinned Panamanians, one had a nice big booty if you are into that. I read earlier that someone asked about Honey Place bar, in the area: nope, just a stupid bar with a bunch of local guys inside.

Next, went to River's Club. The deal is that there is a guy at the desk in front, and then a bunch of girls on a couch in teddies in the back room. He wanted 60 bucks. There was one girl who was ok looking and had a very eager smile that might have been worth it, but I was hoping for something special, so I passed it up. A taxi guy outside, who would only talk to me in English...although it's clear that I'm fluent in Spanish...which is always a warning IMO, took me across the little plaza to Relax, which I had heard of, but didn't know where it was. The girls were a small step down from River, and the place looked like every Hollywood image of a Vietnam era brothel looked like, with the beaded doors and everything. Then the scariest looking madam came out. Please tell me that these girls won't end up like that!!! She wanted 80, my taxi driver hustler "translated for me" and then kindly offered 60 for me...I couldn't run out the door fast enough. Taxi guy followed me out, and asked for a buck tip, which I gave him since I didn't want any problems and it is pretty dark in the little plaza where you find these two joints. I figure the info about Relax for the forum was worth a buck, since I wouldn't have found it without the guy pointing it out...from the parking spot in front of River you can't see the sign.

I was headed to Golden Times when I saw two young girls on the corner of the Veneto near the U of Panama. I doubled back and flashed my lights and they waived...not local Panamenas! One was really cute, in a photogenic way with engaging light brown eyes. The other was a tall, trim blonde with silicone and a face that was more towards porn star than pretty. They wanted to work together, which I've never done, so I haggled them down to 50 each. They promised lots of kissing and stuff, but no intergirl action. They said that we could stay at the pushbutton (sex hotel) for a while, and have several finishes. So I capitulated.

In the room, the pretty one naked turned out to be really really soft....But she was cute. They took turns, and I was only slightly turned off by one girl being on the phone with the other was CBJ. The pretty one didn't really want to kiss, and wasn't really into giving me a good time, but the bottle blonde really was into making me feel raunchy. All in all it was something that I've never done before so it was worth it, and I couldn't have gone again, but they didn't quite live up to GFE...I guess what do you expect...

Does anybody know if Capri pay taxi drivers commision? I don´t think I can find it myself but don´t want to them rising the price on me because they paid a taxi driver commission. Are there any directions or land marks near Capri. Even their website doesn´t list a location.

If coming from downtown, tell the driver to go on Villa Espana straight to Rio Abajo. On 16th street, the driver must make a left turn (No other way to turn). If you are worried about paying a "commision to the taxi driver, just have him drop you off at the entrance of 16th steet. This would be a bad move at night; the area is part of the "Red Zone", which means there is a high incidence of crime (Drugs, robberies, etc) in the area. There is no problem around the club; they have heaps of security and they are highly visible. Enjoy.

have to correct you on this, this area isnt red zone, the are that you mention is near la mayor in the old part of the city, namely el chorrillo, curundu, barraza and the light. Not even the police wants to get in unless absolutely necessary in those areas during the night.
Rio abajo is fairly safe as long as you practice common sense

I don't have anything new to report but I wanted to share info that may help someone down the road. I took a taxi from the airport to Veneto which cost $27.40. Veneto is a pretty awesome hotel but the rooms cost $95/nite so it should be awesome. My room had an incredibly huge walk in shower. The casino is first rate as is the breakfast.

Since I arrived from Costa Rica, I was thinking the scene here might be more open than it actually is. By 3AM I was disappointed. No action for me yet. I had visited Habanos but was very unimpressed with the selection. There were a few girls at Fiesta Casino bar but they weren't impressive either and they seemed to be busy with guys trying to pick them up. There were no girls when I went to Veneto either. Since Oasis is a one minute walk from Veneto, I started to go there. As I approached the hotel exit I ran into a hot looking blonde. The blonde, Sondra, is a Colombiana with a body to die for including large natural cans. Minutes later we wound up in my room. Price was $80 after some fierce negotiating from her $100 asking price. Guys, what's the going rate for a very hot independent late at night? I felt $60 was a fair price and tried but she wouldn't budge below $80. We had a great time and I fell asleep thinking Panama might not be so bad after all.

For Habanos, Casinos and Bodeguita, if you can negotiate in spanish, US$70 is the ongoing rate.

As other have said, it depends on your negotiation skills and also will depend if they note that you're not a local, then I dont think they're dropping bellow $50 because they will now that you have the money to pay. Ive managed to pick girls in the El Panama area for $25 for several hours/pops
