All three are the usual $5-10-20 cover $10 drinks, $300 girls, the usual bullshit. You can chat and often get numbers from Diamond girls as they go over to the Texaco Star Mart next door for smokes and stuff. They are dead obvious to identify.

Passable:

Hollywood Club Girls (formerly Vale Todo I in Monsignor Lezcano). Lap dances are around $20, a lot of girls are hot, they have on premsises and take out and it is dead easy as long as you can talk to girls to arrange to see them off hours for a fraction of the dumb-ass rates inside. If there is a cover it might be $2 and drinks are cheaper than say the Intercontinental :). They dance one after the other. Girl drinks IIRC are a little pricey maybe $5 vs. your $2 rum and coke and they only get C$40 or less of that. Given them C$50 to talk to you and no drink and you both win. Management when I was there spoke English and won't push girls or drinks. Music tends towards electronic and hip hop shit and a bit loud.

Marginal: Fat, Crowded, Chavalo Filled, or Just plain crappy.

Venus (across from where Aqui Polancos was and no longer is "aqui") - I assume it is open. Fat fat and fatty fat fat
Good Times - Chavalos up the wazoo and pitch dark. No idea what people find so likable about this place.

Make sure you stay at the Intercontinental, I hear it is a great deal and no hassle. :)

I will be traveling to Managua and probably Grenada in June 2011 alone. Any advice? Anyone wana meet up for a drink? I've been to CR and DR, but Never Nica yet.

i've been in managua every month since 2004 so i think i can safely say this as a fact and i can differentiate the two (or three if you want to throw in grenada).

in those 7 years, i have been to granada once and that was the 2nd day i was in the country (and never to grenada as it is a huge commute from managua) and have never been back (to granada) as it is a huge waste of time.
