I've been there dozens of times and have never tipped even for CIM, anal, etc. It's not expected, though if you insist, I doubt the girls will complain.

If a taxi is meeting you, don't worry, just ask him to take you to change money before the hotel. Everything is very close by in Sosua, so it is no big deal. Usually the airport taxis will take dollars too.

I was in Sosua last night and there seemed to be lots of women on the prowl, so watch out. Just lock yourself in your hotel room, insert ear plugs, and you will be fine.

Actually Playero, grocery store, either one, pays one of the highest rates for USD, just buy an ice-cream with a hundred USD and they are more than happy to give your change in RD Pesos.
