I'm planning my return trip and the host turned off the property I usually stay at on the 16th floor in this building.

With all the headaches I had on my last trip with electricity going out then no water I'm willing into give up the freedom of no security for a good stay.

These groups are hunted down from the moment the touts at the beach entrances spot them. But to each his own. Be friendly and have a good time. But don't pay in advance.

I am in Cartagena now and whilst walking about today in the midday heat came across a massage place on a side street called "Relax" and something. There were a few girls in the doorway area but needed to be elsewhere so did not enquire. It's not too far from Plaza Madrid (maybe two blocks). I though that I saw some comments about massage places on here but can't seem to find anything. Needless to say, an he would be nice as well. Anybody?

For example, when I was there for 2 weeks I was in In El Poblado. I didn't do Centro or Laureles or one of the other areas as it was my first time. In El Poblado around Parque Lareles I would approach chicas and offer 300 K for the hour and they would counter with $100 or $120 for the hour. They wouldn't even try negotiating with me in Pesos. I endured 3 days of this and out of the 3 days I only got 1 hit, so threw in the towel and just flew in my main Dolce chica.

When we got I got to Cartegena, I reached out to my other chicas, same chicas I just saw in March for 200 K a leche or 400 K for the night 2-3 leches all BBFS and I always see them when I go to Cartegena. Why all of a sudden 6 months later the Colombian chicas are asking for 400 K or $100 for 1 leche and 1. 2 million K or $250 for the night and now they want everything with a condom. I settled with 300 K with condom for the leche and after I was done, told them if you want to charge me more money but offer me less service ill find someone else. My Venezuelan chicas are still the same price and service (but I sort of get it because most don't have proper documentation to get pass security or don't want to get caught in Centro by Migracion so they go from house to gringo back to the house). My main Dolce chica who I flew out is still the same where she only ask for taxi money most of the times, and she's with me all night until she leaves in the afternoon. Same with my main Delirium Chica.

My main Dolce chica told me allot of those same Centro girls charge 50 K in the barrios for locals, then come to Centro and charge gringos $100. Of course I call bullshit so she took me to Caribe Plaza mall for the day where she would point out girls and I would approve or decline. When she points one I like, she would approach them and start a quick conversation, then I would come along (with my limited Spanish) and see where it goes. Basic conversation of (Telling my girl I'm ready to go, ask whose her friend? Introduce myself with Hi, my name is- what's your name? What are you doing tonight? Join my friends and I for a drink later, etc) Out of about 7 girls I managed to get 2 different 18 yo BBFS for 100 K + taxi which tops out at 30 K. So this higher price with less service I'm not taking no part of it especially if we been together before.

Anybody?[/QUOTE]I don't have much experience with those places but I can say, the ones that walk around with scrubs uniforms handing out the cards will come to your room and give you the massage and you can negotiate for extras. The young ones will jump at the offer.

Just because the chick gets $100 from you does not mean she is not doing the same for 50 K in other places. This goes over so many guys heads though because they do not understand price discrimination and think well if she can get $100 in Place A, why would she go to Place be for less. Makes no sense to a lot of guys, but those that understand and know are able to take advantage of it as your chick has taught you.

NO? I had a plan to go but seems I may change and do Salento / Bogota / Medellin instead. Say it isn't so.

I will keep in an eye out for those girls. So far, I don't recall seeing anything like that. Any part of El Centro where they might be? I did find the Relax Spa website and it seems legit. In fact, too legit. A regular one hour massage is 150 cop. But if they have a website, a he may not be on the table so to speak.

But if they have a website, a he may not be on the table so to speak.[/QUOTE]They are mostly walking around the Clock Tower area, over by the big multi-level Exito, but I mostly encounter them walking up Calle de Nuestra (Carrera 10) going towards that fancy mall (La Serrezuela) during morning and afternoons, same with Calle de la Universidad (Carrera 6).

Going to be living in Cartagena next year. Anyone headed to Carnival in Barranquilla mid-February?

So I might drop in the week before Carnival and give Medellin another try then go to Barranquilla for that Carnival weekend, then finish off in Cartegena, or head to Santa Martha, or San Andreas to finish the trip.

All my chicas are warning me, put my money and cell in my front pocket and stay with other gringos, don't mix in with the locals too much there. They say the pickpocketing is insane during that time.

Looks like all my usual guest friendly no security AirBBs are already booked for that timeframe too. SMH.
