Medellin Reports

I know I am not a senior member with thousands of posts but, let's get back to the purpose of this board. Sharing intel on getting laid. I'm returning in January and this time I am staying for about two weeks. I value this site for the knowledge it gives to us that are somewhat new to certain area's. I have been to Colombia often and almost always it was to spend time with my girl and didn't have the luxury to venture around and enjoy what Colombia has to offer. Hot hot hot Women that can be had for a few US dollars. I live in Miami and if you want a hot piece of Latina ass here you will pay $$ or more for just an hour. So I thoroughly plan on enjoying my first time visiting Colombia as a single 30 something year old gringo.

I have ventured to Barranquilla quite frequently over the years and only spent 1 very quick 4 days in Medellin recently. I value all of your opinions when it comes to places to visit and places to avoid. I am not very fluent in espanol PERO yo entiendo poco, escribe poco, why habla poco. I know enough to survive and enough to keep myself out of trouble. What I don't have is the inside knowledge of places to enjoy if I venture around solo. What prices I should pay, times to visit specific location, etc. For guys like me we greatly appreciate coming here and learning from your experiences. That is afterall what this page is for. I am a member of USASexguide and I enjoy the intel we share for my area. Miami can be a ***** when it comes to escorts, massage parlors, and street walkers. PD is always ruining a day for most mongers and working girls. So to enjoy a place like Colombia where I can easily kick back and walk into a place and not worry about a bust from local PD is a pleasure.

I know some of you have favorite locations and some just straight up dislike other mongers and establishments for your personal reasons but let's all just enjoy what we are doing. Meeting beautiful Latin women and getting laid. I am not rich and don't have money to blow every day so a good bargain and knowing prices helps me plan a trip. Of course things change but it's nice to be prepared.

Can someone help me? I'm in Medellin for a week and this city is huge. I want to switch hotels and stay close to mongering locations. I'm staying in a very nice side of town and can't get out like I want to. This city is huge and no one speaks English. The cab drivers will rip you off if they get a chance and the strip club I visited last night was in a ghetto. I was not impressed with any of the line up and felt like this place has been a waste of my time. The everyday women I met are pretty, but I can only go so far with my limited Spanish. Are there any mongers out there that want to meet up? I can't find any of the daytime mongering places on the list provided in a previous forum. I asked a cab driver to take me to liquid lounge and he said he never heard of it. I don't have a cell, so I may need to buy one but I'm only here for one week. I thought about calling an escort, but with limited Spanish it won't work. On a side note this city really is nice and I wouldn't mind living here a couple months out the year during retirement. Gringos can completely blend into society. I really need some help mongering shouldn't be this hard. LOL

Same thing in Rio, who doesn't remember "Help" (not existing any more) or Cafe Foto, or Gruta Azul in Porto Alegre (before the new rip off costume of them) , Real Brasileiro was One To One. And those where the best times to find cuties out of this world and prices where half than now on those places.
In Moscow things didn't change much for the general population, the poor still very poor and Dollar won't make better their lives, we all know that we don't go there to make better their lives, but to squish the last drop of Oil, Uranium and Diamonds. Escorts hell yeah, they can get richer and mechanical and that affect us directly but the rest strangle just like Latin Americans or Asian and Africans do.
Not everything is black and withe, But I wasn't talking about economics at all. Just the nostalgia of more local flavor and better services everywhere, people with more identity and culture. But this can't be a reason to get mad or so, just my point of view, We gringos make things going down the drain we did it in our own country, that's why we try to escape from that sex slavery we created for us, we are just to proud to accept it, not me I don't blind myself and always open to correct my bad interpretation if I'm proved wrong, no problem at all, because nobody dies of that . So maybe I'm absolutely wrong.

Ok now an updating about the most loved girl in the forum,

I just talked to Geraldine very quickly, She denies she is pregnant an she is retiring, So good news for all her fans, She still in the business but cutting off FB where probably started the rumor, well, I love when they get annoyed of that dramatic page, I don't dig it much either and I understand why she is tired and sick of it, so humanizing the communications she still using her phone for the lucky dudes are in town and can reach her. Both factors are valid.

I would say the biggest factor is the standard of living of the average person where we are mongering. If the local economy is really bad, obviously the women will tend to give it up for much less.

Having said that, if a large concentration of tourist mongers is present in a certain area, we tend to big up prices, sometimes significantly. This can be seen in the difference in pricing for Centro termas vs Zona Sul termas in Rio. Or Poblado / P. Lleras prices vs Laureles prices in Medellin.

It must be said that alot of tourist mongers aren't too bright ("dumb American"). How many times have you heard,"I'd pay $300 in the US, so $100 isn't that much."? Well yes, but the average person in the US makes several times what the average person makes in Country X, Y, or Z.

IMO, any foreigner that goes to Medellin, Rio, etc and is paying the kind of prices that John refers to is asking for trouble. The chica is going to tell her friends (including her guy friends) how much money you're throwing around. And that is going to make you a target. $100 is a shitload of money in MDE. As much as many folks make in a month. There are lots of local banditos who will kill for $100.

Like many here, I could easily afford to pay these chicas way more than the "going rate." However, I think it's idiotic to do so. Not because I'm saving a few dollars. But because I'm inviting trouble by acting like a big shot in a foreign country.

And regarding travel. Alot (but clearly not all) of these girls could care less about going to Machu Picchu or wherever. They'd rather be home with their Paisas listening to Reggaeton.

Also, I've met Ricker. The girls love him. The really hot ones included. I'll take his POV any day over some guy offering to set me up with his "private stash" for 1st World prices.

as for the sws, yes, they congregate near f2 / premium plaza. you can catch them on 30 and 33. also near plaza botero / museo de antioquia. also the unmarked casas (late night action, after 12) have similar girls.

i would compare the sw scene to shopping at ross dress for less. 95% of what is there (and sometimes 100%) is junk, factory seconds, defective merchandise, dirty clothes or stuff that doesn't have anything wrong with it but is just ugly and undesirable to most people. but that means there are some gems to be found for cheap. you just have to look carefully! there seem to be fewer **** girls on the street than there used to be, but there are still plenty of them out there. you also get a lot of transvestites, obviously. you find girls who live on the street essentially and they are in poor health, often huffing sacol (strong glue / adhesive). that said, there are also a lot of girls who just do it part time or otherwise cannot work in casas (age issues or other factors) that are healthy, inexpensive and eager to please. i would not be overly concerned with being robbed or anything, it's always a remote possibility but no more distinct with a street girl imo. what day did you go? i do like spinners lol. there are a couple groups of them that hang out around san diego, one of them is like a family. there is the oldest one and then her half sister and two cousins. i forget their names, nicol, isabel and two others. i would wager they are all not of age though, that's the biggest concern, that and overall health.

Just go a few times and you will see that 90% of clients are Colombians. The local economy sets both the supply and demand sides. The flipside of that is that foreigners should be more observant and pay what the locals are paying more often. I don't think it's "inviting trouble" to pay more, but it's not necessary. I always say pay the standard rate, tip fairly for extras and great service.

The travel thing, just think about it, if you were comfortable, having fun and making money, what would the point be of traveling on someone else's terms so they can rail you three times a day while dragging you wherever they are going? The other end of that is that you should only take a girl you really feel comfortable with. Traveling with a girl is great but don't be pressed to do it. If she is not into it, just back off, it's best for both of you. Don't keep throwing money and pressure at the problem, you won't have a good result. If the girl actually likes you and wants to go where you're going, she won't give a shit about the terms outside of maybe some logistical stuff (paying babysitters, bills, whatever).

I used to engage in these back and forth rants before I realized what a waste of time it was and because it was just an energy sink with nothing to show at the end, beyond being a bit angry. What I have discovered is whether it be MDE, Thailand, Rio, Philippines, Costa Rica, etc, we ALL roll differently, we ALL have different means, and we ALL have different experiences we seek. I am in a good place now where I just focus on what I want to get out of it without worrying about what others might think about it. Perhaps if this board ever returns to simply exchanging information among friends, I might start sharing more of what I have learned during my travels. Until then, I will just keep my thoughts to myself because SOMEONE is sure to take exception to it and feel the need to attack it.
