From Nana, head west along Sukhumvit Road. After a while it becomes Ploenchit Road, then becomes Rama 1, then becomes Bamrung Mueang (Muang) Road after crossing a Khlong (Canal), after crossing the 2nd canal, 3rd main road on the right is Tanao road. turn into Tanao and head north about 700 m to major road Ratchadamnoen Klang. Cross it and a further 100m on left is Khao San road. There are many cheap Hotels here for Backpackers, hippies etc. The area is known as Banglamphoo.
Khao San (I think means "rice husks") Road is about 6km west of Nana Plaza and close to the Chaopraya river. It takes a long time to get there by taxi when the traffic is bad (and thats nearly all the time).

Don't know if much P4P action around. Certainly not much gogo bars. But Opebo looks for cheap girls on Sanam Luang (the royal field) park.
There are some Soapies accross the river.

If it was me, I would never dream of going to Banglamphoo for action, unless I was a spunky man and hoping to pick up some Farang girls.

Went there last month as the girl I was with heard about it and wanted to go. It is a street full of the same products you see near nana, tattoo shops, many little cafe's or such, some hotels on the street, fake ID's and such all over the place, and full of backpackers, mostly college aged or such. Is this one of those cases? I am no expert on Thai culture. As a matter of fact I really don't know a damned thing. But before my last trip in August I met a chick online.
