Never mind the depressing area / s. Choose a hotel in a decent location (if you know the area). Preferably an area with food and shops & coffee. Then you can go to the many casas in the afternoon and the termas at night. Only have to travel to Ipanema when you want to see the beach.

I never went the escort route in Rio, seemed redundant to me. Escort services are gone, but sites listing independent escort exist, (they change frequently.) Google search will find them. Check GPGuia or other local boards to find the recommended GDP. Yeah, Copa's not as easy as it once was, but it's not totally dead. You just got to know where to look.

Do that by changing your proxy settings. Google "proxy settings" will show you how to do it. It'll be trial and error to find a proxy setting that works. There are unblocking websites as well, I just tried a few and they failed to access GPguia. Best of luck.

Used to go there at lunch. Nothing opening up to replace them.

However, there is an upside to the bad economy. The talent at Monte Carlo is Outstanding! Plus I got free entry tonight. Frequent guest.

I was talking to a "former" working girl this morning and I was so disappointed in her attitude. She was telling me that she hated her new job. I asked her why and she said she hated getting up early to be at work by 6 AM and she was thinking about quitting. (This is from a girl who doesn't even have a high school diploma, yet she has an easy job where she can sit on her iPhone all day and bring home almost 4 K a month! I tried to explain to her that she needs to stop being so fucking lazy and realize what an amazing position she is in. I told her that there are some college educated Americans who don't bring home 1 K a week and she needs to understand how blessed she is! He response was "I am tired of working! I would rather go back to being a puta! Just fuck and make easy money! If I could have reached thru the phone and slapped the shit out of her, I would have!!

Girls like her make me see that America is not for everyone. You have to have Drive and Ambition here in order to be successful. I told her she should just go back to Copa if that is how she felt, but she said that Copa was dead and she couldn't make any money there if she returned to Brazil. After 10 minutes, I had to get off the phone because I couldn't handle her BS anymore. It never fails to shock me how unappreciative and lazy some of these GDPs are.
