Bangkok Reports

(Sorry for the long report. It was an eventful day.)

After taking care of my bank account opening, I decide to broaden my horizons beyond Nana and check some MP for the first time (been in Asia for 10 years, but haven't mongered for long).

From my research in this forum. 2 names often popped up for the MP with the hottest girls: Amsterdam and Nataree. Believe it or not, I like hot girls, so those are on my list for the day. I'll give detailed directions since those were missing when I researched.

To go to Amsterdam, you take the MRT to Phra Ram 9. Take exit 3 at that station, you'll get out in front of Mercure hotel (or Grand Mercure? Something like that). Behind you is a big field in construction. When you face the Mercure hotel with the construction behind you, Amsterdam is that big European style building across the street to your left. As you approach you will see a big Amsterdam sign on the roof. You really can't miss it.

I get in Amsterdam at 4 PM. I thought I had read that it was fine, recommended even, to go to those places early. Well it's not. At 4 PM, there is about 20 girls. 15 are in the front row, they are the cheapest, which isn't saying much, because Amsterdam is crazy pricey. These front row girls are 3, 500 or so. Most of them look horrible – there is maybe 1 or 2 I would do for free, but not for 3, 500 or even for 2, 000. They are several levels below Nana girls.

In the back they have their 'models' girls. Only about 3 or 4 at that hour. Only one of them actually looks, somewhat, like a model. Tall, quite beautiful, but not quite magazine cover material. She is 5, 200 baths. I almost go for it, but the day is young, and I would like more choice. The mamasan promises me more 'models' soon but after 15 mins and nothing happening, I decide to head out and go check Nataree.

To get to Nataree, you take the MRT to Huai Kwhang. Nataree is across the Swiss Hotel Concorde, so don't take the exit 2 'Concorde'; take exit 3 'Emerald hotel' and walk straight for about 100 meters. There is a big Nataree sign; you can't miss it.

I get in Nataree at 5 PM. Again, I'm disappointed by what I see. There is maybe 10 girls in the fishbowl and 30 girls outside of it. None of them really stands out as a stunner. I actually ask if they have a different floor for 'model' types, or if this is it. Well, this it it. Ok then.

I sit down and get a beer, scanning the room. After a while, I decide to go for a cute little girl outside the fishbowl. She is cute, but maybe an 8. Not a girl you would do a you-turn for in the street, which is what I'm after. Her body will also prove to be skinnier than I like (and I do like skinny!). That's another problem with MP: you don't get to see the bodies before you make a choice, compared to the go-go bars. Also, I don't know if a gym membership is compulsory in Nana, but most of the girls there have really toned, athletic bodies – not so much here in Nataree.

Anyway, we have fun, and I leave around 6:30. A bit more girls are present when I leave, and I notice 2 stunners in the fishbowl. Oh well.

I head back to the Amsterdam area. I eat at some small street stalls I spotted earlier, and get a one hour foot massage. I need some time to recover and I'm enjoying the rest.

I'm back inside Amsterdam at 8:45 PM. Double the amount of girls now, around 40. Girls in the front row still look horrible. There are more mid-level girls (in the 4000 bath range) in the back, around 10 – there were none at 4 PM.

There are now around 10 'models' on the side. Of the 'models', I only find one really attractive – not the same as

I find more attractive girls in the 4000 range than at their top level. But in the end, remembering the stunners I saw in Nataree, I decide none of them is worth paying that much, and I head back to Nataree.

At Nataree, I'm actually disappointed when I take a longer, closer look at the 'stunners' I though I had seen earlier. They really aren't that stunning. I get a beer, look around some more, nothing really motivating. I get out to go back to Amsterdam (I know, I know. I'm in research and discovery mode.)

Outside of Nataree, I'm stopped by a tout. I know the rules, but this one is actually very nice and entertaining. He sells me on this Cupidity (or Cupidy?) MP. Unfortunately for him, I don't find any of the 30 girls on his flyer attractive. He then tries to sell me on G1, saying it's full of hot girls. I pass since I don't have time to waste on uncertain leads today. (Anyone knows about these places?)

Back to Amsterdam at 10:20. Massive change of scene in the last hour and a half. At this point there is only 7 or 8 girls left. All the girls are gone working. Lesson learned, the right time to go to Amsterdam seems to be around 7-8 PM.

I leave and go to Nana, where I know I can find something good. Somehow, when the Rainbow bars were 2 third empty yesterday (Tuesday) , they are now packed wall-to-wall with customers (Wednesday). WTF?

I find a cute 19 year old in Rainbow 3, and make my first costly mistake. The mamasan asks me to pay in advance, and I agree (I'm a bit drunk and tired at this point, I wouldn't do that otherwise). In the short time hotel, the girls turns out to be aloof and uncooperative. I'm also tired, and can't finish. After a while, we give up. At that point, I only want to pay her 1, 000 instead of 2, 000, since she didn't really do a good job. I give her 1000 and leave. Of course, I had already paid the mamasan, so I ended up tipping an extra 1000 to possibly the worst performer I've ever had. I only realize this the next day. *Facepalm*

I still want more fun so I immediately head to Rainbow 4.

I sit down there and get a beer. After a while I motion to a girl but she nods she doesn't want to come down for me. The same thing happens with the next girl. WTF? Both of them were the hottest in there IMO. I'm told a bit later, by another girl, that these two only do Japanese. Ok then. First time this happens to me in Rainbow.

After a few minutes a girl comes and sits on my lap enthusiastically. I usually go for looks not enthusiasm, and I've never gone for a girl who choose me before. I like to choose myself. But this one looks quite nice, she is fun and happy, and seems to like me a lot. I decide to go for it. Since it's around 1 AM now and I need to leave my room at 6 AM, I negotiate 3, 000 LT. She agrees easily.

In the room, this girl turns out to be the best P4P performer I've ever had. I'm a bit tired (I've had 5 girls in the last 24 hours) and after a while of nice sex, I start doubting that I can finish. I tell her that we should just give up. Most P4P girls would agree in a heartbeat, or even suggest it before you do, but not this one. She fucks my brains out and then sucks me until I eventually, to my own surprise, manage to come in her mouth. It took a long time to get there and I'm really amazed and grateful at how hard she worked at it. She is also really nice to have around before, during and after.

We fall asleep and wake up at 6 as I have a plane to take. I give her 3, 500, ie a 500 tip for the hard work and the excellent attitude. I would have given her a 1, 000 tip but we only had sex once and she only stayed a couple of hours, so I figure this is more than enough already.

Day 2 damage: 3 girls, lots of drinks, and about 15, 000 baths spent in less than 10 hours. Happy to go to Samui so I can chill for a while.

What I learned (or re-learned) :

-Don't get too drunk. It clouds your judgment, makes you take stupid decisions, and it gets expensive.

-Nurse your drinks. In Nana staff very aggressively pushes for you to buy drinks as soon as you don't have one. No matter how many you consumed before. They actually gesture as if they are going to kick you out (though they don't actually do it). Get a big beer and nurse that until you are ready to go (unless you really want to spend and get drunk of course: whatever floats your boat).

-Never pay in advance. I knew that already, and got screwed for forgetting this rule.

-If you think you see a stunner and plan to come back for her, make sure you REALLY take a hard look and actually like her, even if your balls are empty and you are just leaving for now. A passing glance might make for a wrong impression and a disappointing return trip.

Question for when I return: WHERE ARE THE HOTTIES? Nataree and Amsterdam, while having some OK girls, were a disappointment after the built-up expectations from reading the reports here. I will give Amsterdam another chance. But where else? Poseidon? Where is the real SMOKING HOT stuff these days?

As for what Evianist is saying I have a short story. My ex girlfriend from about 3 years back is a real estate agent in Pattaya. She has a car. Her family has multiple houses. Her brother is an engineer. She comes from a decent background. She has never said anything to me about money. But a few weeks ago I found myself trying to go out with her again. She asked if I was going to give her money. I was like huh? She said that I give the girls in the discos money so why shouldn't she have some too. This could be at bank booths, Superrich, or the independents found around town. Bring new and pristine $100 USD bills (and show them first) to expedite the transaction.

If you do ATM withdrawals at Thai owned banks you will be charged 150b ($5) per transaction, so you would want to take out as much as possible each time. This is not convenient though if at the end of the trip you are trying to have a minimum amount of baht remaining.

One away around the fee would be to have an account at a foreign bank that has physical branches in Bangkok. I have done this with HSBC, but they only have one location in Bangkok (near Lumpini Park) so this is more of an emergency backup scheme.

The exchange rate at the airport is poor compared to what you can get in town. For that reason, when you arrive, you should only exchange enough for initial ground transportation. $20 should cover the cost of a taxi from the airport to most Bangkok hotels.

How do you guys think the disaster in Japan will affect the market in Thailand? Do you think there will be any japaneese mongers coming to BKK for some time?

From what I have read here the flights from japan to BKK has been filled up by mongers every weekend and that prices have rised because of that.

I think about the poor girls who will see their income disappear or get lower. And maybe good times for the rest of the mongers as / if prices falls.

[/QUOTE]It should definitely affect tourism from Japan. There was an article in Bangkok Post about that and it does make sense. They will have more important stuff over the next few months than mongering. Coincidentally I'll be in BKK at the end of April which should be the "peak" time of the clean-up and sorting out in Japan after all that mess. Cynical it may sound, I guess it's going to be good for us over the next few months in a sense of decreased tourist inflow from Japan which, hopefully, means less crowded bars and less attitude from the girls. So no "she only does Japanese" as happened to Chill Out and some others in Nana and soi Cowboy.

But that will be a temporary thing (3-5 months or so perhaps) after which things will come back to "normal". Japan is a country and society where people are well prepared (mentally and in material terms) for stuff like that and a few months later it will be going as if nothing happened.

Tell Papa you want to take her and will be back in one hour, give him 1, 000 Deposit and tip him 100.

They are not the Stunners you see in GoGos but people like their "innocent" approach to prostitution (if there is such a thing). They have mostly overweight uglies there in the FB. And Touts love to promote this place because Cupidy gives 500 baht to any driver that brings in Customers.

The Other place was J-one, another bad place IMHO.

AND. The ladies on the Flyers are not only heavily photoshopped, they don't work in these places at all.

[/QUOTE]Well Chill Out, with respect to your list of lessons learned, you left out the most important: Never pay over 1000 Baht. Just kidding. Great report. As far as Smoking Hot goes, I agree they're few and far between, and I hope someone answers your question, I'd like to know too. On two recent trips to Bangkok, I saw several in CM2, but they were quoting high prices and were on the cold side. Rainbow 4 had one or two. I didn't spot any at Poseidon the one time I visited.

Sir, very sorry for my mistake, I realized it too late. We do agree on Bowerboy comments, who may be more complex that what he reveals about himself. Member of the NonSuperman club too, but still having fun.
