Go to Karyaneka, the major shop of Malaysian handicrafts owned by a government agency. It's at walking distance from the Petronas Towers or Raja Chulan Monerel station. You'll find lots of nice things to buy for your family, lady / ladies, and yourself. Among them, wonderful colorful batik silk scarfs, shawl, and long dresses. Yes, there are also hijab, of all colors. It's a nice gift for a local lady, if you know one.
PS: from USA? Be careful when you go back. I wish you there will be not some newer "Executive Order" issued during your stay abroad, this time maybe banning all US citizens who went overseas to give money to a Muslim country.
In KL for a few days. Wanted to check out the nightlife. (young guy, white, etc) Monday night.
Bangsar. Cool little street with some bars and restaurants. More for bringing a date on the weekday.
Changkat. Busy place. Long street with many bars and such. Seemed like there was a few freelancers in the area.
TREC. Nice compound area with various restaurants, bars and cafes.
Jalan P Ramlee. Was not expecting the talent I saw in Thai Club. Some of the best looking freelancers I've seen in my life. Found out why quick, they were mostly Vietnamese.
I am finding it extremely hard to set up night dates from dating apps ie tinder, skout etc.
Might just have to accept the L I am going to take in KL. Maybe I can pull something in Changkat or Zouk tonight.
From limited RTFF, looks like ST in KL is about $80 - $100 USD.
Any chance of getting FS massage for an hour for $50?
And secondly, which GF hotel is recommended near beach club, not too expensive.

Been in KL lately so thought I'd share my experiences once again. During my earlier two trips had visited the HSBC spa twice with unpleasant experiences, once to Soliel which was good, once in Ttanz hotel spa which was great and twice to sky river both times with Mona which were great (read my earlier reports). This time thought to try something different and following positive earlier posts here went to Best Western 9th floor xg**l website. Was shown 2 Thai, 1 Indonesian and 1 Vietnamese all at best 5-6. Selected the Vietnamese for 2 hrs session. The guy told me that you have to pay first which I reluctantly agreed but having no other way went in the room and paid first RM400. I thought biggest mistake. And I was right. No DFK, worst BBBJ of my life and worst session every with only one position. I forced my self to come the first time. After which she just continued to watch TV. In the second session after 15 min of dead silence and some cuddling during the advertisements got hard again and she quickly capped me. She was lucky I was hard again after the previous session so not wanting to kill the boner I pounded her doggy forced myself to come quickly and left as fast as I could regretting I spent so much money. The next day headed to sky river hoping for the good session again. It was packed. Could not find Mona in the line up and selected one Vietnamese (V106) who had big melons almost popping out of the dress and who was smiling at me for RM 228. I thought yesterday was bad this was the worst every similar to my previous trip and session in HSBC. Big breasts and she kept on pushing my head to it with almost no foreplay. Thanks for the shopping tips! I do know how elegant hijabs can be, I work with many Muslims. Just wasn't sure about purchasing one.

I just wanted to suggest an idea for shopping.
I understand your concerns. On my very first time in KL something like 7 years ago, I went to Karyaneka to shop for souvenirs and gifts. In the parking lot, a coach stopped and a large group of Malaysia ladies, dressed with their traditional long dresses and hijab, came out directed to the store. I think they were coming from some country region. They all started to smile to me and wanted to take photos with me. I was embarrassed at first, because as you I was not sure how to behave, but then I enjoyed seeing that they were happy to take photos with the Western Man, even with hands on my shoulders, all hugging in group with me in the middle, etc. I love Malaysia and Indonesia.

I had three days in KL and was staying in BB for the trip. My mongering hours were limited and I was only interested in local, Indonesian or Indian ladies on this trip.
Although reviews haven't been very favorable, I wanted to check out Green Elephant since they are supposed to feature local girls over the standard PRC / Viet / Thai lineup. Since they only had four girls that evening I guess business was OK.
Upon entering, the mama-san called me into the office and asked me to choose a package. The vibe wasn't so great so I opted for the lowest. B2 be & "batin" for 140/45 min. The mamma-san put some mild pressure to go for full service but I declined figuring if things heat up it'll be easy enough to change my mind later.
I was assigned a girl (last one available?) and shown to my room which was separated by curtains rather than walls. There was a thin mattress on the floor and Indian pop playing over the speakers.

I'm guessing ownership has changed since the vibe and approached has changed quite a bit since I was last there. My previous visit was more laid back, more GFE and overall more enjoyable.
