Jaco / Jaco Beach

I've seen pictures of Jaco Beach and San Jose, and they seem really beautiful with all the lush tropical jungle. But reading these reports about Chico's in Cocal charging $150+ for ST makes my dick shrivel up back into my body. That's how much you'd pay for a hard 10 at Hong Kong and Tijuana. And we're talking about local talent presumably here in Jaco. I wonder how much of this is Gringo's not speaking any Spanish and simply agreeing to the first number that they hear, and how much of this is the fact that the place is played out and they're way too many gringos there, prices have gone through the roof. I've heard similar stories about Cartagena in Columbia and Medellin, though I think the prices are a bit cheaper at this last spot. Any vets care to chime in on Nicaragua, or San Salvador / Colombia in comparison?

There is something of a lady's mafia in Jaco and especially with Cocal. First, many moons ago I had a lady and knew her sister and friends, and she did not work there but sis did. There is a lot of competition and if girls are quoting low they will be corrected or threatened. My lady I knew didn't work there because a few of the girls did not like her and she was worried about having a knife pulled on her. Sis did well there but she got a long with the other girls. The going rate is $150 and up in their minds, though minds can be changed! Good Spanish and local knowledge helps, but the only way you are getting less than $100 is with an older lady or a desperate Nica. Best option is walk down street in day or early night and get phone numbers. You might find a freelancer but not if you are at the cocal.

Going to Jaco in couple of weeks. Staying at a friend of mine's AirBnb complex. It is free to me. The security is very strict at complex. When I find a girl Cocal, I am told I can take her next door to hotel and rent a room for $50 an hour. Is this true.

Renting a room for $50 is convenient if you are just going to get one girl for the night but if you are looking for multiple girls or having a girl the whole night, you might want to get one night at Cocal. It's easier if you are going to do a few rounds or want a girl for the night.

My girl and I are visiting Jaco soon. We are into three ways and while I don't think she'd be into an escort girl because of STDs, I think she'd be open to a random encounter with an older guy (condom only, no kissing, etc).

Here's the question: would Cocal be a good place to go hang out or would the girls lose their minds? And if Cocal is out, any suggestions?

It is a good place to hang out if you're girl is ok with it and I don't think there are any rules that says your and your girl can't hang out at the bar. It won't hurt for the both of you to sit at the bar and see what you can find. But that is just my opinion.

Seems to me it would be OK as long as you don't cause a scene or any troubles about something.
