Usually in cooler weather (sometimes not) as I tend to stay within walking distance of the main venues in the Triangle. I think that it is a club within the fairly newly opened Melia Hotel. To me it looks like a higher end "civilian" establishment. Most of the clientele going in / out are well dressed. Unlike me in my worn denims and T shirt shambling towards the fun palace that is Mariners.

Last month, I exited with a PRC around 2am and headed to the "taxi queue" just past the entrance to the Melia club, and it was busy with punters outside hanging around. So it is a late night club certainly, but for PFP? Would be interested to find out.

Thanks to the suggestions given by Mo the Pro I paid a visit to the AMP described in one of his reports. It is quite an easy place to find and very discreet.

I asked a few people about the protocol. From what I understood, the note is a tip, maybe 100 AED or more with the guys phone number attached. This does not guarantee that she will call or that anything more than chatting would take place. The bigger the tipping, the more likely you'll get a call. I never tried it myself. It doesn't seem like a wise investment.
