That and the indiscriminate firing of bullets that killed a girl and other injuries makes New Year a safe place if seen from a hotel. Otherwise avoid IMHO.

I found myself domiciled in Ortigas for a few days of work close to SM Mall. I had a few numbers already lined up and juggled these.

Night 1. A girl whom had made friends with me on FB. We had a limited number of messages, she was quite young (21) and quite pretty. Her FB pics didn't quite display her acne as well as in real life. It is well recommended and was on the company account at about P7000 per night including breakfast. I would / will stay there again. Staff were well trained and venue was good for corporate visitors.

TGIF Robinsons was easy to find and she knew where it was (close to entrance.).

Also I dropped by St Francis mall which was OK for cheap buys, knock offs and iphone repairs.

I like writing trip reports, but its been many years since I wrote one. Reason being, I got a case of laziness while finishing up my divorce which led me to settling down as you will see.

I was in the Phils about 4 years ago. I hate Manila traffic and lack of security, so on advice from GE, I spent quite a bit of time in Davao and Cebu while meeting some really cute ladies 18-26 on FC and DIA. I don't like fat chicks, so was going to make her a miss, but every time I signed on to YM, there she was chatting me up before I arrived in the Phils, so she really ended up endearing herself to me over time prior to arrival. Then on arrival, she said she was visiting family for the holidays in the province, but would take the bus to come see me. Ten hours bus ride! As my previously outlined strategy was to meet for a 5 minute coffee and then kick most of the girls to the curb, I just could NOT bear the thought of this sweet pinay taking a grueling 10 hour bus ride, only for me to say "cya" after 5 minutes, so I declined to meet. She acted very sad. I said "please fill me in". She proceeded to tell me that she hadn't been to Cebu in many years and that she lived in her province. This really pissed me off, at myself, because I felt I had been really good at filtering out any girls that were not actually in Cebu or Davao, as I hate wasting my time with girls that can't readily meet on arrival. Then she dropped the bomb, saying: "Oh, I was married to an American, now divorced, and I have a US residency card. " OMG! I had to meet this girl! The thought of having my very own pinay girl-toy without coming to the Phils was amazingly enticing! As you all know, no cute little monger-bait like this from a third world country would ever be allowed in the US without a fiance visa, unless she owns property and has a fat bank account (or a parent living in the US), which Liar did not. She said she was planning on flying to Manila, on her way to visit a distant relative in the USA, the next day, which just so happened to be the same day as I was flying to manila too! I was ecstatic as we made plans to meet at the airport.

The next day, I flew from Davao to Manila and waited for her text. Nothing. I went online. No Pretty Little Liar. Hmm. I had no options, so I caught my flight back to the states and resumed my sordid life in the sex prison that is the USA. 2 weeks went by. Then I got a missed call from the same area code as Liar's relative. Could it be? I called the phone number in my phone. Liar answered! She had made it to the USA and wanted to meet, but she was 2000 miles away from me! SIGH. What to do? I offered to buy her an airline ticket to come meet me. No go. She was too shy and scared, but wanted me to come see her. Ugh, I made strict rules to never do something like this. I kicked myself for not making her come to Davao to meet me when I had had the opportunity. Obviously nice guys finish last. I was now making plans to go fly across the USA to meet a girl for coffee and probably dump her in 5 minutes. What an expensive waste of time and money. I couldn't stop myself though as the curiosity of what she was really like was killing me. I made arrangements, and got on YM. She said:"When are you coming to see me?" I replied, "Next week". Now it was her turn to be excited and curious.

I boarded the plane and flew very far away to a small hick town with a surprisingly nice airport. I had switched planes previously at a large central airport, and landed at almost midnight in Hicktown USA. The 5 other passengers on the plane, disembarked, got in their cars next to the terminal, and left. The two airport staff members locked the terminal door, leaving me standing alone, outside, in the cold, under a street light, in the middle of nowhere. I texted Liar "I'm here!" She texted back "OK, my family and I are coming to get you!" GULP! The family?! I was hoping she would take a cab, but no. I get to meet the family, but what if Liar is a fat ugly hag? Where is my exit? I was in a serious jam. I thought about praying but figured God would punish me if I did. So I waited, nervously, alone, in the dark, without another soul in sight, under my streetlight. I felt like I was in a horror movie. All I needed was creepy music.

After about twenty minutes, off in the distance, I could see a pair of headlights slowly navigating its way down the long road that leads up to the airport. My heart was pounding. A car pulled up opposite me and stopped. A young, slim, ravishingly gorgeous young lady got out of the car, with a big beautiful sexy smile and long flowing black hair, wearing tight white jeans, black heels and a short gossamer top flowing in the breeze. It was Liar! She gave me a hug and I melted. She was a "dime", 10/10, one of the most beautiful girls I'd ever seen, straight out of a magazine. I could see in her eyes that she was not disappointed either. Lucky me as I'm no stranger to getting passed on. I got to savor this moment for literally 5 seconds as her American family friend (the driver) came around the car to eye me up and down, while Liar disappeared into the back seat of the car and out of view. "American Friend" was my age but much bigger than I am (I'm not tall at all). He looked like a cop. He requested that I sit in the front seat with him. I didn't argue. He asked what hotel I was staying at. I told him, and we set off driving. On our way to the hotel, American Friend and cousins in the back seat politely, but sternly grilled me on my background, job, intentions, etc. I could see that the American Friend wasn't happy I was getting Pretty Little Liar. He wanted her; that was obvious. Then we arrived at my hotel. Thank God!

I got out of the car. American friend eyed me up and down one last time, helped unload my luggage, and shook my hand. Liar got out of the car, grabbed her bag and stood there, next to me, looking as beautiful as ever, while we watched her family and American friend drive off. I was stunned. I really didn't know how this was going to play out, but I really did not expect Liar to stay with me like this. Needless to say I did not complain. I checked into the hotel, at which point Liar and I went into our room. It was very Spartan with one bed (YES!) It didn't seem to bother Liar at all as she was still all smiles, but acted the little shy pinay, as so many of them do. I tried to strike up a conversation, but all she said was "wait, I need to shower". SIGH! Again, she disappeared. Half an hour later she came out without makeup and just wearing some cute shorts and a tight T-shirt. She was still adorable, and still smiling like a little flirt. We spent the week like that, waking up late, banging a few times per day, getting to know each other, eating out, and otherwise doing nothing in particular. What a honeymoon it was! It turned out that her family in the Phils had basically thrown her out, which meant back to the USA to preserve her residency privileges. One family's trash is another man's treasure, right? This was too good to be true, so I invited her home with me. She accepted, flew back with me, and we've been together for 4 years now.

You are better going to Havana or LA Cafe as you get to check the girls out first. You don't know what you are getting from escorts until they arrive. They are often fatter than pics else smoke, else dirty etc. Never felt they were clean or top quality girls.

IMHO Burgos or EDSA are more a pro areas, but hey, it's the Philippines, should be possible to find a 'Miss 10 GFE".
