I've seen good cops moved out of the way for restricting a revenue stream and I've seen earners moved when a job actually had to be done.

As an aside the amount of money involved can be eye watering. Imagine having a piece of every hooker, stick of timber, palm oil and shabu that passes through a region. No wonder people are prepared to pay big bucks to be promoted.

I see no change between paying $100 to be promoted from opening gates and paying a million to be "policing" a major illegal timber or coal region.

My comment was more about the cost and income from senior positions than a direct comment on those doing the 100 k shakedowns.

When you need to know information in Indonesia and particularly with brothel security guards. You ask the same question to 10 or more people and then average the answers. It is important also when asking a question not to provide any leads to the answer or they will just say yes to whatever option you gave them. Example - "They have condoms for my extra large schlong in there don't they?" Yes! Will be the answer.

But if you ask "do they have extra large condoms for my giant schlong" they will recieve it as a question, think about it and respond with a yes or no. Then you may repeat the question to the next 10 people and you should get a good result.

A couple of recent (May / June 2018) posts on Jakarta100 bars indicates that GC has been mostly shut down, with only a karaoke part remaining open. My guess is that you paying 100 k more for the HJ is absolutely appropriate. The HJ is included in the hot stone massage at Delta if you want it to be included, but that massage is 900 k or 1 million for the "HJ inclusive" massage. Today OS decided to take one for the team and try a twitter girl.

So commencing at 11 AM started by searching the BOjaktim tag (BO Jakarta East), which takes you to a whole selection of twitter girls of which you can click "latest " to see the most recent postings. Got two responses so OS sets off for Bekasi. Half an hour later is parked outside Centerpoint apartments and commences the process of getting installed in one of the several hundred identical boxes that people call home.

The process is like finding an apartment anywhere, with back and forth, she wanted selfie and then directed to tower the where OS waited 20 minutes in the lobby while she claimed to be cleaning her apartment. OS was getting towards the end of his wait time.

Finally she turns up, OS has to leave his drivers license with the security guard although am sure could have given him a video shop card and he wouldn't have known.
