who YOU are vs. bar vs. girls
You know the longer I do the punter thing and read forums the more I realize that messages on forums can really make you MIS-informed. That is NOT because someone means that, but becuase they might be totally different from you but you have no clue about that.
I live in Cebu 1/2 the year. No point in modesty on here, I get treated like a rock star in the city AND THE BARS just like MANY other people on here do.
But will I expect that when I am 60? No! It's a totally different experience and I know that it will be. All the complaining on here....I have never experienced that. I don't think I've seen any of the bad attitude after bar fining more than 20 girls in cebu over the last 2 years.
Looks, attitude, hair color, sense of humor, etc....Some of us have 'em 100% and lose them as we grow old. Some of us GAIN in their popularity with Cebu girls as they get older. Some of us are lucky in wealth, others are lucky in love. Some are lucky in many, many ways but by chance their appeal to woman in Cebu is not at the top of their luck list.
As for tastes, sorry but I don't agree with some of the below post. Silver Dollar? I've gone and there twice and turned around and RAN. My God there are some of the worste looking girls in the city there.
Papilion is a tourist trap? What about Dimples? Those 2 places are 2 of the most obvious for tourists. AND they are more expensive. But I've found in general they have more hot chicks then places like BK (yuk) or Silver D. They have newbies too which is a good thing. As for Viking, someone got it head on: great time in, but not as great when out. Seems like mostly
1. lookers who have been in the biz for a long time. Not my type. Just too pro for me even though they would be great performers
2. New girls who for some reason just don't seem that amazing.
BUT there are some newer girls there sometimes that are great catches.
That is the bar that I have spent more time hovering and talking then any other. Something just doesn't quite click as well here for me. Again, I think it's because the best girls are just too pro for me.
Probably the most monster fuck (s) I've had in the past 5 years was with a girl that was new there. I say that both because of how amazing the sex was but also because she was the 9 that came closest to a 10 that I've met in many many years. A diamond in the rough who did not stay at Viking long.
Sometimes after a long session with a Phil., you just have to throw your hands up and admit they are the greatest in the bedroom. Submit to their superior status to girls from other countries....
There should be mention in the below of Firehouse which WAS my favorite and has changed into some name I forgot.
You guys that get cell phone numbers....wow, you impress me! I try, but don't have the patience. But I really hate paying the bars money after I've already paid them a few times.
Exotica is new. That's good to know. It's quite big. When I was there 3 months ago it seemed to be uncertain in it's direction. The girls were nervous there wouldn't be enough guys. And at that time there weren't since it was only a month old. Now it's "more on the map" I would guess.
I'll be staying at the Richmond on my next visit which is very soon. I used to have an apt.
Anyone want to comment on how the Richmond is these days?

Silver Dollar
This is easy as it's a flat 700 Pesos. The girls here are great for attitude, although they may not have the best selection of lookers. There are a few babes, but many are pretty average. 1500 Pesos seems to be the rate for the girl, although you may be able to negotiate. Ask first if they are staying in the morning as many have children and don't prefer to stay.
Vikings
Absolutely hands down the best bar for beauties! 1700 Pesos barfine, where 1000 goes to the girl. This is where the pros work. If you want a girl knew to the bar scene, you'll need to go to Viking's sister bar - BG's Bikini Bar
BG's Bikini Bar
A Norwegian fellow who owns Vikings also owns BG's. There are some stunners here, and as I said above, here you can find newbies. I haven't barfined out of here, but I think it is the same 1700 P. The mamasan here is very approachable and is more than willing to help with your selection

I barfined a little darling that had great GF attitude. I think she was the only young one there as the others looked a bit old and worn. I was quoted 1500 P short-time (three hours) where 700 goes to the bar and 800 to the girl. If you want overnight, it is 2400 P with 700 going to the bar. I chose the latter and was pleasantly surprised when my two ladies drinks (plus my two beers)were included in the 2400 bill.
Lone Star
This bar is a bit confusing as the girls seem to make up the barfine as they go along. I barfined a cutie in February for 2150 P where I was told upfront that 650 goes to the bar and 1500 for the girl. However, when I went back in April, a couple of girls tried to convince me that the prices had changed with a new owner. One had the audacity to say that the barfine was 2500 P and all that went to the bar. Another told me the all-in price was 2500 shortime and 4000 all-night. Later, I moved over to another set of girls and mentioned that the barfine here was too expensive. They told me -what!?! We have the cheapest barfine in Cebu for only 650 P!!!
If you go into Lone Star, be prepared to be mobbed by the girls. There are just too many of them, and there isn't enough business to go around. Even when you ask to be given some space, they are hovering.
Papillon
As mentioned by other mongers, give this place a miss. Most of the women are old and haggard. There are a couple of decent girls, but with poor attitudes. Maybe it is the management? This place is depressing. I made the mistake of barfining a girl here in February. She had a lousy attitude in bed and became irate when I only offered her a 500 P tip. I thought I was being generous since I didn't really enjoy myself. She compalined that the 2000 P barfine I paid went entirely to the bar and she got none of it. I almost believed her as she refused to leave until I got insistent.
Love City
What's the deal with this place. You are placed in chairs with a small table centered around a dance stage. Two girls dance while the others sit in rows of chairs at the side. All the girls have numbers, so I am guessing that you have to request them. There were about 6 men in the place and none had any girls sitting at the tables? I didn't stay long as there weren't any girls that interested me. Also, my San Miguel was the most expensive I've experienced in Cebu bars. Didn't bother to ask about the process or the fees.
Black Hole
It recently underwent renovations with new booths, tables, etc. They even have this brass cage off to the side for dancing. I've not barfined here as each time I've only seen some very average girls. I think I was told 650 P barfine.
Prices in General.
I think it is safe to say that 650-700 P is the price the bars take as a barfine. If there is a premium on that, it should be going to the girl. So, how much should the girl get for a night's work? My rule of thumb is that the girl should get 1500 P as base salary (what the bar gives her plus what I give her), and tipped on service. How much for tip? My thoughts are that it should be 500 for ok service and 1000 for exceptional.
What do the other mongers say?
