This has less to do about how a guy looks or how old he is, but about his demeanor, willingness to share (not only baht), and his overall sense of "sanuck."

They are MUCH hotter than the dogs you can barfine. As for Tilac, they introduced the coyotes a few months ago (at least that's when I first saw them). Fortunately there are hot girls all over Tilac, but man, some of those Coyotes are really hot.

Regardless, once a place introduces Coyotes I typically stay away. They realize that their BFs are not attractive enough to bring in the customers. Tilac is different in that they don't seem to show any skin there. Blech!

According to Stickman, Tilac apparently has a crowd of regulars that are there every night. I'd imagine you'd get to know everyone very well.

I don't find their coyotes to be too attractive myself. Don't find any of their others girls to be lookers either, to be honest, but maybe I haven't been there early enough in the night. Whenever I've been it's a bunch of real nasty looking girls with major attitude problems.

I have read some reports about cheap freelancers here and there, which are mainly dedicated to the local crowd and girls won't speak English, etc. However, what about the usual touristy spots such as near Nana hotel? Is it worth looking for hot chicks there? I remember a friend of mine once got a fairly hot chick just next to the entrance of NEP on the Nana Hotel side and she even let him do her up the ass. Is it a good place to look for freelancers and are there any other nearby spots (I. E. Around Sukhumvit) to look for freelancers on the streets once I'll have enough of Soi Cowboy, Nep and massage places I am going to try?

I well understand that perhaps it would be better to stick to traditional 'reliable' places where I know what to expect and not look for adventures on the street. But I just thought it would be a good idea to try everything since I'll be spending at least one week in Sukhumvit. And picking a girl directly from the street DOES turn me on in a way (not sure if this a perversion though). :)

Keep your LB radar on at all times though.

Your friend picked up a FL right in front of the Nana Hotel. There are many of them on the sidewalk, especially in the evening.

It seems like a lot of dudes bad mouth the quality, but I have found some pretty decent girls in both these locations.

I have never paid more than 1000 bht. for ST. That is for full GFE for at least 1 1/2 hrs.

Also, there several ST hotels in the area for 300 bht. Just ask the girl.

Also, there are many FL's at Biergarten and several other bars. Or, just walk up and down Sukhumvit and you will see them wondering around.

Biergarten (or Beer Garden) on Soi 7 is a renowned pick-up joint for freelancers (even in daytime) , as well as Gulliver's Tavern on Soi 5. Most of the girls that you notice waiting and making eye-contact during nighttime in the street between Asoke BTS Station and Nana Entertainment Plaza are freelancers. Many of them are not very attractive, but some really are. Going rate: 1000 baht ST per provider (sometimes, it's even cheaper than that, especially if you find two or three friends who are willing to go to your room for a threesome or a foursome, for instance) , and 1500-2000 baht LT. Very often, anal is on the menu even at this reasonable price.

I will pay some attention to looking at the sidewalk girls instead of just rushing to my destination. One thing which slightly (well, perhaps not so slightly in fact) annoys and embarrasses me is the picking process. I really like to have a very good look into what I'm taking and while in a go-go bar it's easy and discrete, on a street I may be akward and make me feel like an idiot. Or is it ok in such a place? I'm just not sure how best to act in such a situation because I know once I stop over to have a look they start "attacking" you and try to get the attention (including all fat and ugly ones).

Also, I wonder why those girls (and some of them ARE pretty and hot) would work on a street but not in a go-go or massage parlor? Before I used to think that some of them may be carrying some STDs which is the reason they may be unwelcome in such establishments. But I guess I might have been wrong. But still what is the reason for them to work on the street? Is it more profitable or efficient for them?
