Thanks everyone for the words of caution regarding the girl that may be few months short of being 18, but claims otherwise. I agree that it doesn't worth the risk and will act accordingly.

But, it did occur to me that one of the cuties in my lineup in Manila is 18, another 19. Should I ask them all for IDs? Wouldn't it be a bit too off-putting? After giving it some thought, I think the following system may be best to keep safe:

1. Tell the girl you ask her to turn off her phone when on a date. This will hopefully conceal her whereabouts from whoever she maybe inclined to disclose it to.

2. Check ID.

3. Most importantly. Use judgement. If the ID is OK, phone is off and she seems genuinely into you. Then most likely things are OK.

4. Don't disclose until the last moment the name of the hotel.

5. Slip into hotel as unnoticed as possible, so that the staff can't become the source of the trouble.

You also CANNOT go by looks alone.

I have been to many weddings here in the Philippines and I have seen some bridesmaids who are barely teenagers (like 12 or 14) but are painted up with extreme make-up and hairdos and padded clothing and they could pass for 18 or 20 year olds.

Mobile. The only way is to turn it off yourself and if you really feel the need to remover the battery and then place all in the in room safe. Other than that good luck.

I guess it means that you have not vetted your contacts well enough. Just play it by ear. Don't apply a blanket "one size fits all" method of dealing with girls.

Some girls work for multiple agencies, some with different prices. I was with the average priced girls from the sites and was not impressed. They seemed like lower end girls that were plump, smoked, dirty etc. The higher priced girls will be a lot better I bet. Meet them in the lobby and check them out. If you don't like, you can always turn them away. But I would suggest you try the Havana Cafe scene.
