- It can be easy to have endless sex and not do much else with your time. I try to cut back on it. Coming from the west it's hard to say no, especially to the free stuff, but it's necessary as it can burn you out after a while.
-Still don't like to leave Thailand. This place has a weird hold on me.

The problem is not from where (location) the girl comes from, but mostly from which social environment (class in the societal hierarchy). But given that Isaan is the poorest area of the country other than the hill tribes of the north, the majority of Isaan girls aren't from middle class families. They're from poor families and have parents who constantly demand money and want them to find a dumb rich farang. Dating them is thus unpleasant.
Avoiding them is just a shortcut. If I met one who was obviously well-raised and had a decent job, I would date her.

Strange?
I was in Baccara and noticed the waitress speaking to 2 asian guys behind me in Thai. They answered in flawless Thai with no apparent accent as though they were born to it. Normally I can detect Thai with an accent spoken by Koreans and Japanese ("mai chat"). These two were just so perfect they really seemed like Thai although not particularly dark skinned.
There eyes were not real slanty like Chinese / Japanese. My Baccara girl later confirmed that they don't have Thai customers, so I suppose they could have been Korean or similar but rasied here since quite young. I was itching to ask them but thought I better mind my own business just a little. They had called over one of the not so pretty upstairs girls, so this struck me as not so Thai behaviour. I suppose its more likely they were from somewhere else but just spent many years here.
Of course my downstairs girl was way better, with looks a little like Katreeya English (I don't now how to spell that TV star name).

Nana Plaza Closing

Several years ago, real girls use to hang outside of Nana Plaza after closing (some were freelancers, some were there after work from Nana). It was a neat scene. But now the street outside of Nana Plaza is full of ladyboys before and after closing. Not too many real girls hang around there; it is mostly ladyboys.
If you are not bi-sexual or gay, the ladyboys ruined the scene outside of Nana Plaza.
After closing between 2AM to 3AM, there seems to be a steady stream of girls walking out of Nana Plaza to Sukhumvit (probably to go eat or go home). You probably can pick them up at that time / location.

Some hang out "in" the carpark, as opposed to in front of the carpark (and Nana) and as mentioned, you will need to fight your way through LB's.
Some go into Nana Liquid, or up to Climax and Insomnia.
Others eat along the many stalls on Suk between Soi 3. 15.
