Piper - if you LIKED Nana/Suk area you will LOVE Pattaya - think Nana x100 - Sure, GrungThep (thai for BKK) has the size and to a great extent the "selection" but for pure "mongerability" you just can't beat Pattaya - cheaper, too (most everything is cheaper there - even cheaper still out in the "hinterlands" - but that takes "experience") Just 100B and 2.5 hours bus ride away...

And after Pattaya you'll find more Bangkok hookers attractive.
Those who can't find customers in BKK due to looks/age/attitude/scent move to Pattaya.
So I just got back from BKK and a couple of things I thought I would mention.
Firstly had my first soapie at Annies. I had been told that they can be pretty cool and very enjoyable. Well went it was told it was 1,500 baht for 2 hours. So Im like fine blah blah lets get on with it. Then it comes to chosing a girl and all thats there is terrible and worse. Since I am in a fairly horney mood I choose one. I think her name was Ba. Anyway we go back to the room they start off with a bath in a hot tub. This is when she gives you the body to body massage....which lasted for a total of 47 seconds or there abouts. Then she dried me off and got me on the bed for some sucking. She did give me a quick massage(a really pathetic one too) She did not offer sex and as the time went on I was kinda not wanting it from her either. So after a few minutes on the bed I was done and that was it. The problem as I saw it was that only 47 minutes had elapsed. I couldnt care less! I just look at it as a bad experience and will never waste my time in that establishment again.

Wow made my first trip to Eden on Monday. Now it was really awesome. What everybody says is true. So basically I go there at 2pm in the afternoon and dude there tells me they are really busy but there are a few so I grab a couple. So we proceed to the love motel and after a quick shower they proceeded to give the big guy 90 minutes of uninterupted attention. The most important thing was the girls had an awesome attitude and were really cool. They werent stunners but there attitude was so good that it really didnt matter.
The funniest thing happened after I walked out. I ran into this Tuk Tuk guy at Soi 8 (asking me for the 5th day in a row) asking me if I want some girl action and I just state that I just finished He asks where I was and my response was a fist pumping YA!!!! He said oh you were at Eden. I just started to howl after that.
So definately head to Eden.........It really does rule!
So.. Here's my plan for a day in BKK. Please your inputs needed to refine.
1:00pm stat with massage at Akane (3 girls-fashion massage). Then take a subway to Kwan Way station (Rachda road). That is where I am confused. Should I go to Poseidon, Emanuelle or Nataree. I like soapie but also like to try a model-type this time. Do models do soapies. Do all thee have all tyhe option. If I were to try two places which one should I choose. Heard about all of them (both good and bad..).
Then I plan to try eith subway or head to Nana for some fun. Should I try to fit in Pegasus? Round off the day with another round at Akane. What do you think?. Plannning to stay at Intercontinental in Chitlom.
Your suggestion would be very useful to maximize my mongering experience.

Just curious as to which "hinterlands" U were referring to bacause isn't taking a 2.5hr bus ride at about 100b will bring U right back to BKK? ha ha

With the itinerary you propose, you are either Superman or just one hell of a stud. If you find the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak, you can buy Viagara, Cialias or Levitra without a prescription at just about any drugstore in Bangkok.
I read your reports and must say that your observations are usually "right on target." Especially about "tourists" who think that a "long-in-the-tooth" girl from the Soi 7 Beer Garden is the most beautiful thing they have ever seen. I also agree with your assessment about meeting and dating non-bar type girls. I have been saying the same as you: you aren't going to find a quality girl on a two week vacation hanging around Sukhumvit.

Oh, maybe Korat (to start - but not too "hinter") otherwise Pilok, Sukhothai, Buriram, Surin to name a few of the larger Nakhon out there. You would need "pood Thai dai nit noi", though. Pattaya a "hinterland"? Sure, in the next life (not this one, that's for sure) Sure, bai 100B, bai-ma 100B. It's not all that bad, but stunners are few and afar between and usually out of my "budget" range.
As CB says - the better lookers ply their trade in Grungthep ๆ. Better earning potential - just that it takes farang a while to get to know the city of angels and I don't seem to have either the time or the patience.
Kuber - RA is correct - either you are "superman" or you will need a SERIOUS amount of "chemical enhancement assistance" (ah, would that I could perform to that level...)
Many of you know the restaurant on the corner of soi 15 and Suk. They have great duck there. Well it seems they have gone upscale, as I went there for a bite at lunchtime today, and was turned away. " COME BACK 2 HOUR, FULLY BOOKED". There had to be 1/2 dozen empty tables, but many people were being turned away.
Ahhhhh, the signs of success !

I think you mean the outdoor restaurant on soi 16 and Suk, right? The one a group of us went to eat before? I love that place. Food is always good and it a great place to eat on the run... I have been there before when it was packed and had to wait. Avoid peak hours.

Actually Juice, this is a different one. The one you are talking about is on the other side of Suk. Don't know if you have been there since the last time you and I ate there, but I was there a few nights ago, and I think it is now mentionned in LP, and worse, the "guide du routard". Packed with people, and the service would have to improve to be just bad. Got to find a new "local". Any ideas ?

I believe the place is called Young Lee. It has been there for ages according to all the yellowed newspaper articles on the wall. One of my favorite places. Every dish is 100B and the duck is great. It's usually packed but if you hang around a table opens up. You just go and grab the table. I am surprised that you were turned away.
The old guy is the owner and he is very strict about his closing time. He closes at 3 pm and opens back at 5 pm for dinner. Soit is possible you went at around 3 pm and he told you to come back in 2 hrs.
BTW the Robinsons Food Court (in basement) has decent food and can't be beat for the price. You can have a good meal for under 100B including soda and dessert.

Passed through Bangkok recently en route to Sydney from Dubai. Many thanks to those who suggested the J W Marriott. Nice place!
Due to a 5 hour delay, I only arrived at my hotel just after midnight. I didn't realise that 1am was the curfew so I only had time for a quick look in the Nana complex before it shut. Headed over to the CM2 disco in Novotel and after a brief chat with some Russian girls I did a deal with a girl called 'O". Agreed 3,000 for LT to include OWO and CIM. I left the money on the desk and said she could take it as she left in the morning. No problems back at the hotel and after a nice massage, O began OWO which finished as CIM.
I went to the bathroom and upon returning, yes........O was dressed and ready to leave, money taken. She had written her number down for me to call her.
I said we had agreed LT but her answer was that she had to return to her village early in the morning. In no mood to argue, I crumpled up the piece of paper with her number on and through it in the bin saying goodnight to her. She was briefly "shocked" but quickly realised that all goodwill had gone.
I'm not sure if the girls have a usual "pitch" but I met her at the corner of the first bar on the right as you enter the club.
The next day I was "roomless" as checkout time was 12 and my flight was at about 8pm so an afternoon visit to Eden was a natural choice. I know it has been reported so often but I feel it my duty to recommend this place. I chose "pow" from the left who chose "wow" from the right. Both girls were very friendly and between shots I got a manicure then a pedicure from "pow" while I received a nice massage from "wow".
For a simple, hassle free service where you get what you expect, this has to score highly.
After Eden I passed some time away in Beer garden around the corner. Out of 50+ girls there in the afternoon I must admit that only 3 were attractive in my opinion and 2 were stunners. I hope to report on them after my return visit next week.
