May I take this opportunity to remind you all that picking up SW's carries a penalty these days.

So, what would be the best way to find quick relief in Helsinki? I´m visiting the town this July and it seems that the scene is somewhat dry. I´m mostly interested in young estonian and russian girls and there must be a way to meet them somehow. Good advice is highly appriciated!

I visited the Mikado on my last trip to Helsinki 2 months ago and had a very enjoyable time. Is it still open for business and functioning as normal after the raids last month? Were the raids a "warning" or has there been a general crack down on all the clubs? How has the the new legislation impacted on the mongering scene? I hope things have not changed too much as I hope to be in Helsinki again very shortly.

Any further information regarding the current situation will be much appreciated.

Jake Sins, the clubs are still in operation, business as usual. As it is not the club doing anything illegal - they are not pimping the women - there is no reason why the police would close them.

It's just that from now on, there is at least a possibility that if you conduct your business negotiations in a club too visibly, you may get fined as the guy in the chair next to you could be an undercover officer.

The new legislation has almost completely wiped out the visible SW activity on the streets of Kallio district - not necessarily a bad thing.

Just as a reminder, buying and selling sex are both still legal in Finland, as long as a) both parties are over 18, b) no pimping is involved and c) the act or the negotiation do not take place at a public location such as on the street on in a restaurant or club.

In your last post you stated there was the possibility of undercover officers being in the clubs. Does this also apply to the ladies, i.e. is there a possibility of entrapment? Have there been any reports in the press of this occurring?

On my last 2 trips to Helsinki, I observed that after closing time at the Mikado, the outside resembled very much like a "meat market". Has the new legislation and it's enforcement by the authorities now put a stop to this ?

Entrapment is not allowed for the Finnish police, as far as I know. Anyway, the women in Mikado are 100% foreigners so if one suddenly enters who looks like a Finn that will certainly raise eyebrows.

The meat market in front of Mikado at closing time has, according to my observations, decreased in size but not vanished altogether.

Was in Helsinki in the beginning of June. As some may know, that time is nearly summer holiday. Less action thus.

Alcatraz is my first visit, also happened to be closest to my hotel (Scandic Simonkentta). 10EUR entrance fee. Only a dozen of girls, even less men. Watched a strip-tease, finished my drink, and off to Mikado.

Mikado: 9EUR entrance fee. Activity was lower than usual, although not as low as in Alcatraz. Did not find THE girl.

Back to Alcatraz, then to Mikado, where I finally selected Julia. A tall 7-8, mixed Estonian-Ukranian, with class, visiting Helsinki for the week-end. Why did I not select her first time. I would recommend her, particularly if you like enhanced breasts (what a pity, enlarging what must have been wonderful B cups). I look forward to meeting her again.

Final remark on the "meat market": closing time is 4, but entrance is no longer possible after 3. According to my experience, the ladies will not do anything that might get them trapped. Thus, if you want the best price and bargaining, I would rather suggest fishing around 2-3 am, inside the clubs.

Next week Sunday August 8th I am visiting Helsinki for two days, can somebody fill me in where the action is?

This July, I had to be at Helsinki... Yes, Mikado is still open as usual... - Now that I know about the WSG, thanks again to all for your inputs: beyond business issues, it is really proving useful for preparing a truly memorable trip.

Most of the reports here relate about experiences once time reaches closing time, i.e. around 3-4:00 am and talk quite irreverenciously about the “meat market”... Well, as these ladies would say, sausages are meat too, aren’t they? (smile)

By contrast to most of the reports, my experience is before midnight. As I was in a hotel with plenty of acquaitances, some 20 minutes on foot from the center, but only three minutes by tramway, difficult to bring a girl back.

So, past hotel bar chats, I took a walk going upwards the tramway line (so as not appear suspicious...), and then caught the tram going downtown. (About 1.5 Euros a ride if I remember well). Once there, I walked around, passed in front of Mermaid, next to a sex-shop, proceeded to Alcatraz and then to Mikado.

Into Mikado I went, paid 9 Euors entrance fees, walked up the magnificent marble staircase and landed in a box filled with over 30 candies for men, presenting a great diversity of colors and shapes, and each one looking more delicious than its neighbours... (big smile)

From the door to the bar, there may be four steps at most, and on this short way, I was sollicited (or should I say agressed?) by no less than three ladies... In other words, if you want to identify the jewel of your dreams, you got to earn it and to produce the effort to pass this first barrage...

Never mind, at last, in I was, walking round the bar located in the middle of the room, visiting the casino area and the lounge area, while not making any eye contact, just watching from the side of the eyes all these tempting candies while saliving...

Coming from the door, candies tend to stay on the other side of the bar, especially between the bar and the windows, where there are seats for them to rest while being seen. Unless they fight the first harassments, Mongerers have barely the opportunity to reach the inside side of the bar.

While going in and fighting the first three candies, a blonde magnificent 10 passed along me, preying on some Japanese. After a while, they turned her down.

By then, I was leaning against the wall in the casino, with my back to that little corridor leading to the restrooms. A good and quiet place to watch the action: candies do not stay in the casino. They just pass by from time to time, and also go to the restroom. At some moment, that magnificent 10 went to the restroom, and on her way out, she accosted me. She proposed 300 Euros for one hour... I looked at her really surprised: “I beg your pardon?” After a couple of minutes playing dumb to get her price down, shooting lightnings at me from her eyes, she violently turned around... What a bad temper!... - I came back twice on another two evenings. I saw her again: on none of my three visits to Mikado, I saw her scoring a Mongerer...;o)

Later, walking back from the casino area towards the other rooms, passing between the windows and the bar, a cute candy leaning at the bar, dressed without even a V-neck, but nevertheless with curves at the right places, turned her head to me, and simply said “hello”, with no pressure at all...

Waow, bingo, this is precisely the kind of sweetness I was looking for. According to previous reports, the laws of probabilities being what they are, she was from Sint-Petersburg. I offered her a drink, and we chatted for a while. In addition to being sweet, what an interesting candy: she travelled around Europe and knows rents, foods, boozes and prices from Sint-Petersburg and Moscow to London, and from Helsinki to Roma and Madrid... (surprise, surprise)

Our glasses being more and more filled with air, she said: “Usually, I start asking 200 Euros for the hour and the man answers 100, and we agree on 150. This is average Helsinki price. What do you think?”

How do you want to argue with such a smart candy? - Hence off to her place we went for a wonderful GFE experience. A short cab-ride to her place, and some thing back added 20 Euros to my bill, and I was back to my hotel with plenty of good memories for future dreams.

My next two visits to Mikado were just similar, except that on the third visit, the candy had a car and even brought me back to my hotel. Going back to Mikado, one of the candy told me that she can enter again on the 9 Euros that she paid just like us. One entrance ticket is thus valid for the whole evening and night.

Conclusion: when going into a box containing so many diverse candies, resisting the first pressures and taking the time to find your match does pay dividends.

First earn, second enjoy!...

About price? Well, I do not remember to have read any Helsinki reports about experiences before midnight. Maybe I missed it. For such a place, Helsinki prices look lower than at London, Amsterdam and Paris (reports to follow), more or less in line with Germany and twice higher than at appartment places at Moscow, but fortunately a lot lower than in sex-prison.... (other reports to follow too.

Unless change, next trip for me will be Buenos Aires, Argentina, where according to today’s Roxana’s irresistible invitation, it is spring time, with MINI SKIRTS AND TOPS EVERYWHERE!!!! ...:o)

Finland has been in the dark ages for quite a while my friend.. When I was there, I tore up my rear to find ads on the papers such as Helsingin Sanomat, but what do I hear? The feminists have taken court action and the escort ads on papers were ruled out for good! I don't think I'll go to there again, but it's still annoying to see a bunch of stupid women can achieve such a thing.. :-/
