I haven't sampled yet, but from the looks of them I'm 99% sure they are FS places. I heard about a hotel near Hongqiao airport where FREE PICKUP at Hongqiao airport is provided (must be booked 24hrs before). Just a few days before the Chinese New Year I had a stop-over in Shanghai and I decided to test this hotel. A standard room is RMB 388 per night. I decided for the Luxury English Style Room for RMB 488.

The hotel is unbelievable beautiful. The elevator (with decorations and even a big sofa coach) is as big as my garage. And the room is better than I ever have expected for the price. Not only that all pictures at website are real. I have a huge Plasma TV that I can watch not only when I am in bed, but also when I am sitting in the huge bath tub (there are enough room for 4 persons in this big tub ;-). The desk is big enough for serious business work, with 2 sockets for European and Asian plugs and internet broadband cable directly ON the table. This is actually the most convenient and comfortable room I have ever had in Shanghai for room rates under 800RMB.

There was a RMB 38 voucher for massage service on the night table. I called and learned that the “normal” full body massage is RMB 138 while the full body oil massage is RMB 338 (maybe 10 RMB more or less). This means with the voucher, the service will be RMB 100 and 300. I found RMB 100 a pretty good price for a full body massage while RMB 300 for oil massage is very expensive, as long as it is not clear whether a happy ending is included in the price or not. So I decided to begin with the normal massage. The girl on phone said because of the Chinese New Year, there are only 2 girls left. So I have to wait about 1 hr. This was fine with me since I have nothing to do and it is already late in the night.

This hotel is surprisingly the most convenient and comfortable hotel I ever had in Shanghai so in the future, I would actually stay here for business purpose.

My next trip to Shanghai would be more than 1 week. I would stay in this hotel and “test” all the massage girls one by one and tell you guys about all the girls and their special services (if any) and the price, etc (since they are all freelances, their services and fees can vary a lot).
