I totally agree, the SD has a most relaxed atmosphere, kinda feels like the ole neighborhood bar back home, with some attractive, very friendly women.

Short time (ST) is usally 1 hr and can go to 1 1/2 hours. The "VIP" Room at Silver Dollar is very nice and clean with a large bed. I was quoted P 1300 I think for the Room and Girl. I ended up passing when I got a text on my cell from some girl wanting to meet me. The next night I decided just to take the Lady out of SD as she was really sweet and we stayed together till she had to return to work late the next afternoon.

In Exotica Club there are four "VIP" Rooms upstairs. I have taken women to these rooms six times, different girl each time. Always got a great fuck and blowjob and often a scond fuck. No time limit and I would ALWAYS tip P500. I paid P1500 for a regular room and P2000 for one with its own a/c and In Room Movies. All of these rooms are nice.

It's going to be my first trip to Cebu and I want to try out Junquerra at least once but am a little afraid to let those women into my hotel room. Plus -according to what I've read here- Junquerra seems to be kind of a trial & error place and I don't want to waste a whole night (and money too) because of a rip-off girl that only stays for several minutes.

Had the same experience as Mahku for VIP room at Exotica last year. I have no problem with odd positions with my girlie. Kinda kinky, but not like the backseat of the old Chevy. BTW, I think some of the ladies downstairs were getting an eyefull through the curtain. Tried to put on a good show. My partner seemed to enjoy, and so did I.

[/QUOTE]I didn't know they had any, but there are hotels of varying quality in the area and even some of the "better" ones have hourly rates. I have stayed as an overnight guest at the Mercedes Hotel and found it to be OK. I looked at the Cebu View Inn but didn't go for it. (On ST you're probably less selective).

What nearly everyone is going for in the tout-handled street areas and cul-de-sacs is someone of college age who's not a hardened pro. You'll hear stories of how ___ is only trying to earn tuition money, or is an office worker who only shows up once a week and wants to earn extra money, etc. One problem, besides accuracy sometimes, is that those that might fit that description are also the ones who might be reluctant to go with you. They're usually not dangerous, but they give only the bare minimum on performance and without enthusiasm. That's why I think you should take a little time on talking to them to try to separate the reluctant ones from the ones who are just a little shy.

OTOH, the hardened pros, like some walking Maxilom or a few working the Sunflower, are the ones to watch out for with things going missing from the room or funny-tasting drinks.

Would also agree about the Silver Dollar; it's popular and has a pretty good happy hour and enough regulars seemingly to ensure it goes on forever, but is more like a hostess bar than a pick-up go-go.

Oh, not too bad. Just avoid the wet spot.

I don't know. During my young, crazy years I would venture around Junquera, Pelaez and Sanciangko Sts late at night. This area then (and I am certain now) was full of very sleazy Bars and Clubs. Manny's down the street from "Our Place,"a dive bar patronized by "out of luck" (and money) ex-pats in Cebu, comes to mind. There was even a genuine Barber Shop were during the day you could get your hair cut and at night your dick sucked. I imagine your pubic haircut then also. In 1992 I was next door at a telegraph office at 8:00Pm and saw a group of young girls sitting in the chairs at the lobby area of this dumpy barber shop. My young naievete had me thiniing these were girls waiting to get a haricut. They were the "Night Shift" getting ready to go to work fucky/sucky.

A block south of Junquera puts you in a maze of side streets. In the late evening if you are adventurous enough to stroll through here you will encounter literally dozens of young & old prostitues working the streets. I a certain that the "Big Three" streets I named above had many, many massage parlors also.

Then, Long on Courage and Short on Finances, I would stay at Hotel de Mercedes on Pelaez St and frequent Our Place during the day (decent food but lousy company; very cheap prices of course). In the Night I ventured out to Manny's first (all nude stage show) and then to several other Bars there.

Honestly, it was fun but sleazy. Also dangerous but I did not give a shit back then. I have not ventured back there in about six or seven years and cannot remember the last time I visited one of the Clubs there. Nothing ever happened to me but, looking back, it was a very foolish thing to do, wander around this area late at night ALONE.

If you visit this area or Colon St, at night bring 3-4 friends along. The kid who would shine my shoes at Our Place was stabbed on Sangciangko St and almost died for the few pesos he had in his wallet and his shoeshine kit. A tricycle driver was stabbed to death here by the young, punk boyfriend of one of the waitresses working at Kukuck's Nest (another Ex-pat bar on level of Our Place). The punk got P50 from the driver for his efforts. While in jail awaiting his murder trail, she would skip work from Friday night to Monday morning ( I saw her return at 8:00AM)m as I was having breakfast) to sleep with this loser in the filthy jailhouse.

The values these people have are totally different from our western values. I confine my activities in Cebu to Silver Dollar, Wild Orchid Massage and Crossroads in the evening. Safer, cleaner and much better quality pussy.

I stayed at the "Mercedes" about 4 years ago. After I laid down, and before the a/c got going, my face was bitten all over by mosquito’s.

It's worth repeating that one should not to venture too far into that jungle unaccompanied. I understand and experienced the exhileration of visiting these types of places, but I always came away disappointed. The women were - more often than not - scags who would steal your wallet while sucking your dick.

Risk reward wise, definitely not worth it.

I've never tried at Silver Dollar but I think I saw a report where somebody said there's a room. In a pinch you could probably use the girls' changing room or something...

I was in Exotica last December and was told VIP Rooms were available. Did not check the price or stay long, I was the only one in the place and the line-up of girls was terrible.

I will be in Cebu next month, if no one else posts an update by then I will do so.
