I thought Marc had sold Eden and moved on. Is it really the same Marc who started Eden? I was there years ago and enjoyed my time there.

dynasty grande is a wonderful hotel. this is the same dynasty group that had the hotel across from nana and in pattaya. the hotel across from nana is being rebuilt from the ground up. the dynasty grande is their upscale hotel. it is located between soi 4 and soi 6 next to the sofitel. it has a nice lobby, very nice rooms with free internet, good restaurant and a wonderfully friendly staff. the only downside is that they change an extra 500 baht for if you bring more than 1 girl back to the room.

rainyyyyyyyy – hotttttt. i usually know better than to go in september but it was either don’t go (forget that!) or wait till next year. for those who have not been to los during the rainy season (especially those of use who aren’t 20 anymore), it gets to be around 90 degree but the humidity stays around 100% rain or shine. all the farang walk around with absolutely soaked shirts.

since this was going to be a short trip merged with work i decided to stay put in bangkok and stay away from any commitments. i usually try to get some lt in but i didn’t want to cramp my style.

It is the same Marc who founded Eden. He is planning to retire and has turned over much of the day-to-day management of the club to associates, but he is still involved, especially with the startup of the new Eden in Pattaya.

I'm off to BKK next week. On business chiefly (I wouldn't book vacations at the height of the rainy season), but I hope to do a bit of mongering as well. Based on the excellent reports on this forum I expect to focus on the refurbished - and these days more daring - clubs in Soi Cowboi in the evening plus perhaps the rapidly evolving entertainment area on Soi 7/1 (around Eden) in the afternoon. It is becoming clear to me that Nana Plaza is going down the drains like Patpong 1 before it.

I have a question regarding ST versus LT, though. Several posters have mentioned that it's getting harder to make girls commit to a LT that includes the whole night. To some extent that was to be expected: The mongering these days takes place earlier in the evening, and I suppose most working girls figure after 3-4 pops you've got what you paid for. But... how much should one read into ST these days? And a LT? Last time I was in BKK I picked up a ST in the Beer Garden who was not only rushed, but stated vehemently that my 1500 Baht bought me only one pop. This is disappointing relative to my usual hunting grounds (e.g. Russian girls abroad) where a short time is usually defined as 1-2 hours with as much sex as you can manage. Is this attitude standard, or did I pick a "rotten apple"? Similarly, if you pay for LT, should you expect the girl to stay for a certain amount of time, or is it two-pops-and-she's-out-the-door?

I would not worry about the ST / LT thing too much. My last few visits, there were only a couple that even brought up the ST vs LT issue. Of course that was at the Rainbow Bars at Nana. Even at the Rainbow bars, not all of the girls are mercenaries. I had a girl at the Rainbow bar, who snuggled up to me. She would not have been my first choice, but once we started talking, I knew I would not regret taking her. Real affectionate. Spent the whole night and never brought up money or length of time. She would rate a 7 in looks, so she was not a big drop off from the 8's and 9's I was checking out.

There were others from Soi Cowboy, Hillary Bars, Gullivers, etc. No issues with LT stays. One of the girls from Soi Cowboy even seemed disappointed, when I told her she could leave. I couldn't help it, since I had planned to meet someone else! lol!

The Mercs tend to be the hottest of the hot and generally at Nana. I can generally pick em' out after a drink and about 5-10 minutes chatting. I will only take the Mercs out when I decide I want a quickie, and can live with them wanting to get back to the bar for more bar fines.

Nothing new but I would recommend the following. I saw a nice show in Cowboy in the famous Long gun where unfortunately they seem to put too less alcool in my dozens of glass I drunk.

Thanks, AT2. Yeah, I suspected as much: "mercs" as you say to me equals gogo dancers in the more fancy places. I didn't tell the whole story about my last visit to BKK: I had a couple of satisfactory GFEs, but each time with slightly more experienced women (late twenties) without model looks but with a good attitude. I mostly found them in the bars around Soi 4 but also on one occasion by barfining a waitress. To these women, apparently, I was the best that had happened to them that week - especially as I offered a small tipping up front - and I guess they were willing to put in an extra effort to try and secure my return custom.

It's just that... looking at the photos and reading some of the postings here I was under the impression that I have been shopping down market. Only have my little insight from a one week stay only, so no statistical value compared to frequent visitors.

Picked my LT's in Soi Cowboy and Beergarden and my residence Livingstones.
One Soi Cowboy girl said before we agreed to LT that she had duties and needed to leave about 7:30-8:00h., which I considered fair. After our session, which she might have enjoyed she asked me if I would come back to her, that I should call her before she starts working and she wanted to arrange that she could stay longer. (The reason: Said it's hard to come for her and with me she would see a chance, but would need more time. Sounded rather serious and is not such a bad reason).
My other LT's all stayed way after noon. My freelancer was up offering to guide me around in Bangkok and my favorite Soi Cowboy GoGo which I took 2 times didn't leave earlier then more or less to go directly to work late afternoon.

Don't know if I was just lucky, or somehow was good in girls selection (means estimate looks, attitude, predict behavior etc. out of the talks before).

So figure Girls selection, pick up place (Nana Parking lot seems to be special for the high frequency ST types) and especially how you come along with your girl plays the important role how long LT will be, if she has no (real) duties. But I found out that girls with real duties will tell it before when they have to leave early. If the didn’t tell you, something might have not gone not perfect with both of you.

One thing could be an alarm signal in your behavior: Your post indicates that you want to use your time as much as possible and deliver as much as possible shots (3-4 seems to be the norm for you). That would indicate that you would be one of the so called ‘Rabbit style’ fuckers aiming for as much as possible ‘stroke mileage’ / hour. If you are that type, it would also mean you don’t take much care at all for the girl, just satisfy yourself. In this case no wonder that girls may want to escape from you as quick as possible. Girls ‘love’ that kind of guys.

Not at all. I simply meant to imply that a "normal" night probably involves a couple of interactions in the evening and one in the morning. When I'm with working girls I'm usually relaxed, talkative and generous. As you may have gathered from my second posting I don't generally have problems with securing LT services (except for one or two unfortunate incidents). But, as I normally focus on girls who chat with guys in small bars rather than dance in big ones, I simply wondered how the land lies among the high-end providers.

Of course this is to a large extend true, and probably I am a potential candidate to be s sugar daddy as well. But as long as I am not caught in it and make the wrong conclusions I have an extremely good time this way. But it’s important that you always keep control.

Here again, some is true, but still we should consider that by all business in this game its always to humans being together making intimate action.
Therefore I wouldn't reduce it that much to business only. Both the customer and the girl still have feelings by all professionalism and its not always that simple to say that 100% all behave of the girls (and us) is driven by that business attitude (let him return to me to gain more money) only.

If I see the P4P business around the world, then Thailand is really something special. As I wrote in one of my reports about my experience, I considered the P4P scene much more fluent into the lets say the 'private' relation then it is in all other countries I had p4p experience so far. This makes Thailand really special and probably is the reason for its big success.
