Fortaleza update, January 2013.
A yearly update on the Fortaleza scene.
GENERAL:
* No rain at all the last week.
* Increased number of brazilian tourists in Fortaleza. Less gringos than usual. Most gringos consist of italians with an average-age of 60 plus.
* Apartment prices from R$80 for a nice apartment in the Iracema area.
PRO-SCENE, NIGHT-TIME:
* PRICES: It seems like standard that the girls ask for R$100-150 at the clubs. Negotiate and don´t pay more than maximum of R$80. Streetwalkers are cheaper.
* "Ho-crossing", clubs: Just Forro & Mambo and some small bars left. Cafe del Mar is closed.
* Zipi Bar. Zipi Bar starts early, around 10 PM. R$10 minimum consumption. There are quite a few girls that are (just about) doable. If you look hard you might find a nine-pointer, but propably no ten-pointers. Difficult to find the real stunners.
* Armazem: Wednesdays, ho-night. The usual GP´s from Iracema and "once-a-week-pro's".
* Crocobeach: Thursday, party evening. Mixture of mainly regular girls and some GP´s. It has gone downhill even more than before.
PRO-SCENE, DAY-TIME, CENTRO:
* Praça dos Martires: Just old and very ugly women..
* Espaço Show: Praça dos Martires. Low-end place with strip-tease and GP´s.
PRO-SCENE, PRIVÊS, CENTRO:
There are lots of privês in Centro. This year I was disappointed with the quality.
* Rua Pedro Pereira 950: Up the stairs, white door. R$50/30 minutes. Only 3 girls. Two fat dragons and one very cute 18 year old, Michele. Michele has a killer body, but her performance is among the worst I ever had.
* Rua Pedro Pereira 1252: Used to have 4 girls last year. It has changed. Avoid it or you´ll get a bad surprise.
* Rua General Sampaio 682, sala 205: End of the corridor. R$25/30 minutes. They have a promocao, a quickie for R$20 or a suruba/threesome for R$30. 4 girls. None doable.
* Rua Melvin Jones 73, sala 114: Between 2-4 girls working. R$50/30 minutes. Last year there were several cute girls. This year there were no doable girls.
* Rua Sena Madureira 961: About half a dozen of puteiros on the first floor. Many girls. Very few doable girls. I found two nice girls after a lot of searching. R$50/30 minutes. Avoid the second floor!
PRO-SCENE, BEACH:
* Praia do Futuro: It´s much harder than it used to be to find GP´s at Praia do Futuro.
* Beira-Mar: The beach and the barracas in front of McDonalds. Very few GP´s. Mixed quality.
PRO-SCENE, OTHER:
* I prefer session at a privê in centro or picking up a GP on the beach. You shouldn´t pay more than maximum R$50 to the beach-GP´s.
NON-PRO-SCENE:
* Fortaleza has a good regular night-life.
Try Mucuripe Club on Fridays. Huge place, 4 pistas and lots of people. Mostly white middle- and upperclass girls.

* Dragao do Mar: Nice realexed bars. Good for meeting regular girls.
* If you want to meet the real beautiful girls in Fortaleza you´ll have to go for the non-pro´s. It´s quite easy to meet regular girls in Fortaleza.
* Where to meet the non-pro´s: You´ll meet them in centro, buses, markets, on the beach or when strolling in Iracema or Beira Mar. Local girls or tourist girls from Rio, Sao Paulo, Brasilia or BH.
FINAL NOTES:
* The stunners in Fortaleza are very rare. The majority are the typical nordestinas, short, overweighted, big squared heads and without necks.
No more girls in the beach

I was there last January and all things make worse, prices rising in hotel and restaurants, security worse.
BEACHES
Boa Vida was closed, last November, I think forever (bankruptcy). It's quite impossible to meet GPs in praia do futuro; Coco beach has very few customers; only on Sunday you can find some garota,
Often with the Saturday night man. So you can go to Croco Beach, on Sunday full of non-pro girls 'cause in the afternoon there's a fiesta, dancing well forrò and speaking portuguese it's always very hard, but possible, became friends.
In Beira Mar beaches, not many GPs, low quality, be careful : they are from favelas.
In front of McDonald, in the evening weekends, some GP from disco, but not much pretty; they want start programas early, so are very nervouses and quick.
NIGHT TIME.
At night, in Zippy bar, low quality and prices about 100R$ (short time) ; Europa and Cafè del Mar are close.
In Forrò Mambo or Armazem, there are few stunners GP asking 250R$ for ST, but they accept 150-180 but asking expensive drinks.
Be careful, they are used to drugs. Other GPs: prices 100-150, depends on the look and the hour. Later you can pick with 80-120 R$ but you're not the first of the night.
DAY TIME
It's quite difficult to meet regular girls in Fortaleza, maybe in centro or shopping; you have to speak good portuguese, be smart, young, and have luck, 'cause at night they have
Boy-friend or go to brasilian boates in weekends (not good for tourist.).
By the way, Fortaleza is still an option for GPs, but much worse that 5 years ago. Bye mongers

(1) Does that mean that the Europa bar and Cafe del Mar are both shut down? Is Mambo the only big bar / club open now in Iracema?
(2) Do they still have those small bars on the street near Mambo? That is the street where many restaurants are. There were small bars there like Heineke bar and a few others. Any programa girls at the small bars at night?

Yes, Europa bar and Cafe del Mar are both shut down, Europa 3 years ago, Cafe del Mar last year. Heineken bar stopped; now there's a bar, called Boteco Iracema, where there are ugly GPs that after go to Mambo.
The only disco open are Zippy bar and Mambo, that is open only at the first floor (level zero closed) , and is very expensive (15 R$ entry. 15 R$ or more for cocktail).
Bar Preto e Branco, that was in front of Heineken, is closed and Portofino Restaurant too. The Reggae Bar de Xico Canuto is always open, is good for his cheap drinks and food; the problem are the garotas, very ugly and dirty, too bad!
On Monday, Pirata bar is open, and now there are some GPs, waiting for go to mambo.
Be careful, at the moment the action is very small in Iracema, and in October maybe is worse.
