BTW, nobody up for election as POTUS beats Biden's Tough On Crime Record
Yes, the Repub Pink Getting Smaller and Smaller All The Time Tinkle House should stop stalling and finally fund the border control agent increases Biden has been asking for and the comprehensive Immigration Reform that Repubs have been avoiding since forever. Then the Lower Than Under Trump violent crime and murder rates will decline that much lower. However, those Repub Pink Tinklers are apparently too busy trying to Impeach President Hunter Biden and Outlaw Sex For Pleasure to get around to it. Oh well:

Of course, the much, much bigger challenge then will be for Bill Maher and other pro Repub "Bothsiders" (LOL) in Mainstream Media to notice and mention it a bit more often. Which is always a huge challenge for Dems in election years.
The peak violent crime rate in the last 35 years or so was at the end of a 12 year run of Repubs in the White House. Well, only because Mass Murdering Americans by leaving us and the rest of the world bare ass naked against preventing and responding to the predictable potential spread of deadly viruses and lying for a critical year to exacerbate the Pandemic one USA so-called potus created is not technically considered a "violent" crime, that is.
But those rates are at or near historically low levels under Dem Biden, the record low during that time frame being under Dem Obama. Then again, Joe Biden was a major contributor to the historic success of that Dem Administration, too.
Thanks, Joe. Many times over.
See the chart in that previous post showing USA violent crime rates peaking over the past 35 years at the end of a 12 year Soft on Crime Repub run in the White House and then dramatically and steadily declining toward record low rates under Dem Obama-Biden and, after an uptick under another Soft on Crime Do Nothing To Reduce Crime But Try To Build a Useless Netanyahu Wall That Mexico Did Not Pay For Repub Trump Administration, to another recent record low rate under Dem Biden-Harris?
Yeah, this is one of the major contributors to that decline that began in 1994. Which, oh by the way, like the Dem legislation that triggered the Historic Clinton / Dem Boomtime 1990's and Budget Surpluses without a single Repub vote that later Repub SCOTUS-appointed Repub so-called potus GW Bush then flushed down the shitter with his repeatedly proven disastrous, idiotic Repub economic policies and stewardship, was also legislated and passed well before Repub Nude Grinbitch and his Do Nothing But Sniff Around Clinton's Dick and Balls To See Where They've Been Repubs controlled a damn thing in Congress:
Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violent_Crime_Control_and_Law_Enforcement_Act
The Violent Crime Control and Law Enforcement Act of 1994, commonly referred to as the 1994 Crime Bill, or the Clinton Crime Bill, is an Act of Congress dealing with crime and law enforcement; it became law in 1994. It is the largest crime bill in the history of the United States and consisted of 356 pages that provided for 100,000 new police officers, $9.7 billion in funding for prisons which were designed with significant input from experienced police officers. Sponsored by U.S. Representative Jack Brooks of Texas, the bill was passed by Congress and signed into law by President Bill Clinton. Then-Senator Joe Biden of Delaware drafted the Senate version of the legislation in cooperation with the National Association of Police Organizations, also incorporating the Assault Weapons ban and the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) with Senator Orrin Hatch.
I'll save you the Google Search; Texas Representative Jack Brooks was a Democrat.
And now you also know why the crime rate in New York City declined in that same era coincidentally and for no other Earthly reason under Repub Loony Mayor Rudy Giuliani. LOL.
Repub conservative "family values" on Ziegler TV
Looks like you were premature in casting judgement upon poor Christian. Apparently the woman in question had been doing tequila shots all day getting ready for a wild time with the Ziegler's. She asked Christian to cum in her mouth so he wouldn't mess up her shirt.
Like I said, stay tuned for more right-wing Repub conservative "family values".
Apparently the video has not been confirmed and doesn't yet absolve the accused rapist, Ziegler. Yet another report, even mentioned, he may be charged for an unlawful and/or unauthorized video recording.
If anything, that video does paints the Florida Republican Party Chairman, Christian Ziegler, as an adulterer, cheater, LGBTQ hypocrite, liar and all-around phony.
Stay Tuned...
The Biden Economic Boom continues...

What will the anti-Biden propaganda machine do, as they struggle to spin the latest great economic news for President Joe Biden?
Glad you brought that up. Thanks.
And your point is? When Walgreens decided to remove some stores from San Francisco, they didn't care whether the shoplifting was organized or not. They complained theft losses in the stores were 5 X what they were in the rest of their system, and security cost about 50 X more. That and other considerations caused them to close the stores.
This is just political posturing on the part of Biden. The public doesn't approve of his handling of the economy, so he wants to put the blame on greedy corporations. Fortunately the adults in the house, like Janet Yellen and Jared Bernstein, won't let him do anything stupid, like impose price controls or excess profits taxes.
Price controls have been imposed since time of the ancient Greeks and they don't work out particularly well, as Richard Nixon, Hugo Chavez and others have discovered. When you place a price ceiling on goods and keep prices artificially low, demand is increased to the point where supply can't keep up, leading to shortages.
What would happen if we had an excess profits tax on energy, as recommended by one of your articles? Well, the price of oil would be over $100 a barrel and gasoline over $4. 00 a gallon. The reason they're not right now is because USA Oil production is at an all time high, 13.2 million barrels a day, counterbalancing attempts of OPEC and Russia to run up prices by cutting supply. And natural gas and electricity prices would be much higher as well. Right now, the only gas producers who are making money are the ones with oil wells. You can't make money drilling gas wells. If you take all the profits from the oil and gas companies when times are good, they won't, or for that matter can't invest in maintaining and growing production.
In the USA, we have one of the most competitive markets in the world for goods and services. Yes prices for some things are higher because of the strength of the dollar. But our per capita purchasing power is second to none, because of competition. As long as we maintain competition by, for example, enforcing the antitrust laws and not caving to crony capitalism, we'll stay in good shape.
Yep. Wallgreens' management got busted on that BS by its own executive, its own data and police data:
Walgreens backpedals on theft concerns.
Jan. 9, 2023
https://www.axios.com/local/san-francisco/2023/01/09/walgreens-backpedals-on-theft
Walgreens may have overblown concerns about retail theft at its stores, an executive said on a recent earnings call.
What's happening: "Maybe we cried too much last year," the pharmacy chain's chief financial officer, James Kehoe, said on last Thursday's call with investors.
Kehoe noted the shrink rate inventory lost due to theft, fraud or damage decreased from over 3% a year ago to about 2.5% in the second half of 2022, Insider reports.
Flashback: In October 2021, Walgreens announced it was closing five San Francisco stores due to "organized retail crime" in the city.
The following month, San Francisco Police Department data showed the five stores set to close had fewer than an average of two reported shoplifting incidents a month since 2018.
Yes, but: Not all crimes are reported to authorities, especially if they are minor.
Why it matters: The Walgreens announcement was a key rallying point for San Franciscans who successfully pushed for the recall of then-District Attorney Chesa Boudin.
The recent statements could also show that Walgreens' closures were more tied to a shifting retail industry and efforts to cut costs, which Bloomberg reported years ago.
