I'm not sure where to post this, as I know there are no zona in Rio, but most people read this section so I make my try...

I'm on my way to Macae and Vitoria. I guess these places have a zona where the girls are gathered.

I know this from trips in northern Mexico and haev heard it is the same in Brasil except Rio and Sao Paulo.

Anyone who know?

Since there are off-duty cops in termas, 4x4, and probably other Rio undesireables, you better make sure that the garota you're hitting on is not anothers, especially when the many locals cannot afford seesions as us foreigners. It's best to observe behavior. And if something looks odd, why not share it. That's what ISG is about, sharing observations and experiences.

If you have a beachfront apartment in Leme, you might be able to receive internet service in your apartment. I know that there is free wifi on Avenida Atlantica (i.e. I have seen several people use their laptops in Mabs in order to connect to the internet). Accordingly, if people can connect at Mabs, maybe you can connect in your apartment.

Also, there are other outdoor restaurants in Leme on Avenida Atlantica where you might be able to connect to the internet. The use of one of these restaurants would be safer than using your computer at Mabs.

Does anyone know if you still have to pay a 40R fee and any fee whatsoever if just walking into the bar from the street for a drink?

Also, if you decide to go with a girl from the bar, then do you pay the 40R entrance fee? Thank you.

The Hells Angels seem to have taken over Rio for the time being, specifically the Othon Palace and MP. Very funny to see the "gangstas" sauntering up to MP then walking swiftly by when they see their favorite haunt taken over by middle aged men in fancy dress. It has left the girls in total confusion, they have no idea what to do with white men with more tattoos than them

From what I remember the entrance fee in the whiskeria is 20R, you don't pay anything more if you decide to go up with a girl....

That is correct. R20 entrance to wiskeria. If you take a girl up, you only pay the room and girl fees. R190 40 minutes , R210 for an hour, .....
The prices went up R10.

Most of the ones I met were in town with their wives. Conveniently their vests said where they were from so I knew which ones spoke English.
