In Ukraine there is more blackmail and psychology involved.Let's see some common scams in Ukraine.

1. Somebody comes to you,shows a medal of police and claims to search your wallet for false money.You give him the money to check,he gets it and goes away.

2. When you get into metro,one presses you from behind while the other one stops you from front,so you cannot move.The one in front starts to search in your pockets while you cannot even move your arms in the crowd.

3. A taxi driver tells you an inflated price and then no other taxi driver is willing to negotiate a lower one.You get into the taxi and when you give money,the driver says he has no change and gets it all.

4. You meet girls in a club,they get you drunk and move you to a place where you are totally ripped off.The security gurads prevent you from making a fuss.The girls probably get some commission.

5. A girl asks you to send her money in order to travel to you and when she gets it,she says she cannot buy a ticket because the authorities did not give her visa as expected.So she keeps the money.

These are common scams in Ukraine.

In CR the most common scam is the gypsy girls who come pretending to be *****s and negotiate for sex,they encircle you and when some speak to you,one searches your pockets.In all cases you have to feel the hands inside pocket.The best is to have something in pocket that looks like wallet while keeping the money in another place.

These have happened to me in Ukraine.

I've been to Darling few times and also tried out the Sexi recently so, here is my brief update.

Darling:

As usually, expensive but provides most often with number of good looking girls (this doesn't necessarily mean good service as it will be very dependent on the girl of your choice and her mood).

You can have 20 min. Oral (I believe it says "20 min Private Show" on the list, please check the price list) for 2. 900? Or 30 min. Sex for 3. 500?

Of course, 1 hour is also on the list but, normally I'd spend 30 min. To try out the girl first time unless you are absolutely certain that she is a good provider.

According to someone I talked to, you can also have sex with the waitresses (not all of them though) but it will cost you twice the listed price! Well, some of the waitresses look fantastic so maybe it's worth it? However I didn't try that yet.

The rooms are quite clean but a bit too dark for my taste, since I enjoy watching the girl as well.

Credit cards were never accepted in this place so, unless you don't want to go to the ATM back and forth few times, make sure you are loaded with CASH.

Club Sexi:

I had to try since this is quite new club with too few reports.

It is a big place. "upstairs" is a bar area with girls who is available for everything. Downstairs is a large dancing scene with poles and 3-4 dancers at same time and some tables and a bar.

Sexi had interesting price list. The basic price was from 1800:. For 30 min. And if you want to have any additional requests, it will cost you more. I picked two girls and wanted to have the standard "fuck & suck" with touching included and that lead instantly to a higher price.

So I would expect 2.500 is a "normal" price for 30 min. If you want the standard services and don't want to waste time on negotiating the price.

Was with a very pushy "Blonde" girl dressed just like Madonna from 80's and a tall girl ("Radska" or similar name). The tall girl had a fantastic body and was kind of "shy" but the blonde short girl was just a waste of my money and time.

I also saw few other faces I recognised from Darling, so some of the girls seem to trying out the Club Sexi.

It was on Monday evening and in my opinion Club Sexi didn't really offer anything special and had just too few of the good looking girls.

Also the high entrance fee (400? ) that didn't include anything was just to bad.

As comparison between these two places, I would still go for Darling as this place has more girls (at least for now) and you don't have to "negotiate" the prices. If you are up to negotiating and have plenty of time, I'd recommend "Show Park" instead of Club Sexi.

The main point of my post is that overall the Czech Republic is a fairly safe user-friendly country. Would hate to see anyone not travel to Prague or the country for fear of crime.

As you go further east into Eastern Europe and Russia things change somewhat. Becomes a little more important to be aware of your surroundings and study up on potential problems.

Even still there is nothing, except perhaps the falling US dollar that would prevent me from enjoying any of these countries. The rewards far outweigh the small risks.

God Damn Pickpockets & Taxi drivers are some of the biggest problems all over the world. Fortunately study and awareness will prevent most problems. Never hesitate to call Bullshit when you feel a Taxi is trying to rip you off.

A common pickpocket trick in Praha is a young cutie and older woman working the Square as a pair. Seen this almost every time I have been walking in the Square at night. While the young one propositions you, fondles you and has your attention, the older one is attempting to empty your pockets. Easy solution is to keep 6’ distance between you, say no and keep walking.

One of the great things about ISG is you can hook up with other members anywhere worldwide that know the local areas and can greatly enhance your trip and experiences.

My approach if I am in a new country alone for the 1st time is to post on WSA or ISG and see if anyone is in town to meet for a drink and to compare notes. Have made friendships from these boards that will be lifelong.

All smaller cities in CR are good except maybe from Brno and Chomutov. Ostrava is a different world. If you have no success elsewhere, try Ostrava.
